Fairly good

published

Washing machine does not cause any issues or problems at all. Runs smoothly since the time I bought it. Does not cause any cloth discolouration issues and rinse and mix the clothes well. Clothes are clean and stain can be removed easily so I presume the rinsing is fine. Made minimal noise which is favourable for typical household setting.

Great dryer

published

Perfect dryer for a small amount of clothing as the capacity isn't too big. However, the clothes are dried quickly, although I've never used the many functions that the dryer has. The price that we paid for it was quite good as we got it on special but at regular price, there are probably better and cheaper options out there.

All good except for one thing

This is our first heat pump dryer and we've been happy with it so far. We even bought the shoe rack on Amazon.de which worked to be half the price they were asking locally. The only thing we don't like about this dryer is that the drum only rotates one way, rolling bed sheets into big balls. I knew this before the purchase but it's proved to be more of a hassle than I expected it to be.

perfect!

We have an internal laundry with inadequate venting for a dryer - the old one just went into the roof space. The Bosch heat pump dryer is great, I am constantly amazed at the amount of water that comes out during a cycle. Clothes come out with minimal creasing. The only drawback is that sometimes things only get 99% dry.

when I called the customer service call centre in Victoria to ask about my dishwasher trouble which warranty was expired, a woman staff was not good responses . and another male staff also was not good enough to reach an average service over the phone. all of the sataffs are not food enough. if you don't believe me, just pick your phone and call Victoria customer service and ask several qustions. you will be agreed with me.

Awesome dryer. Very happy with it.

We purchased this dryer after our Electrolux Condenser Dryer died after 5 years of little use(never again will we buy that type or brand). It has many functions and drying capabilities but we mainly use the set time to dry our clothes and towels. The only issue we had was the first few uses it turned off on It's own. After contacting Bosch they explained we had to up the dryness level as the factory setting is to low. It was an easy adjustment on the display. It's quiet, efficient and I love how the water is piped straight into the trough just like a washing machine. No need to empty tanks. We clean the lint filters before each use and have found the machine to work perfectly.

Works well so far.

Bought this dryer on Boxing Day sales. Been thinking about purchasing for a while now. Mixed reviews made me nervous. But I do love it. It's easy to use. Purchased the stacking kit with shelf so it sits on top of my washing machine in our small laundry. Big inside, lights up when opened. Only negative is once it says it's dry you can't make it run an extra half hour etc if things are still damp. I use cloth nappies, somehow they still are damp when the machine says it's finished. That's the only problem I've found, everything else has been great and with three kids having a dryer is really handy!

I have had 5 service calls on my Bosch Condensate dryer. 3 of them in Extended warranty which was a blessing. It either does not pump the water out, It does not dry, or it has a fault code come up on the screen telling me to empty the water tray even though the tray is empty. The first time it broke down it took 2 months to get the parts from Germany. I have also had to replace the condensate tray. I do not recommend that anyone purchase this dryer

Superb dryer

published

I run a couple of Airbnb apartments and wash linen on a regular basis so needed a good dryer. I've always bought cheap vented dryers in the past, this is a revelation. It works really well, is quiet and very cheap to run. I like the range of options and "finish in" setting to take advantage of the cheaper overnight electricity tariff. Bought from Appliances Online.

Stay Away From the Bosh WTW87565AU!!!

This dryer does NOT dry. You do not save on power in practice either because you need to run it 2-3 times to try and dry clothes hence you actually don't save power in actually drying a load. We called Bosch in Victoria and spoke to [name removed] who told us that that it is not meant to dry and that you need to need to still hang out your clothes. Seriously!!! We paid $1700 for a Bosch Heat Pump Dryer and it's not meant to dry your clothes??? You still have to hang your clothes out??? Why buy a dryer in the first place? Bosch are you serious?

We own other Bosch appliances and they have been good in the past. Clearly the product quality and customer service has taken a very steep decline in recent times. Very sad to see.

Very happy with this dryer

published

Owned this model for a few months now and I am very happy with it. It is very gentle on clothes with lots of different settings for different types of material. It dries very well and you have a choice of drying level, depending on whether you plan to iron or store in a cupboard straight away.

The condenser water is easy to empty out and can be directed straight to a drain or sink like a washing machine outlet.

The dryer can be stacked with a washing machine and I purchased the stacking kit with the pull out shelf. This makes folding the clothes straight from the dryer easy.

It has not made much of a dent in our power usage due to its high energy efficiency.

Overall I am very happy with this machine.

Love, love, love!!

Had this heat pump dryer for 5 months now & it's brilliant! The settings are easy to use.
We had it plumbed in so no need to empty the water holder after each load. The sensor in the machine detects when your clothes are dry and automatically ends the cycle when they're done. Once the load has finished, it keeps moving the clothes around for a while afterwards every so often so your clothes don't crumple, love it!! It also has a light in it which comes on at the beginning and end of the cycle, never thought I'd need or want that, but now I really like it.
Recommend this dryer 100%.

Bosch Ecologixx heat pump dryer - Terrible design and even worse customer service

published

Heat pump dryer cost nearly $3000. Continuous problems with build up of lint in machine causing fault indicator. Serviced multiple times during and after warranty. Bosch says not a design fault. Service technicians have all said it is a common problem. Not only poor product but the customer service is appalling. Never will i buy a Bosch product again.

Serie 8 WTW87565AU

I wish I'd read these reviews before I bought the dryer. Too many options on the front panel I can't even use it yet. Too complicated I just want to dry my clothes. It doesn't even start for me. Where can I get help to use it. Read the book but that didn't help. why can't these things be usrer friendly instead of have so many stupid options that we don't need.

I'm not sure. Just make sure you get the model with the largest compressor.

Bosch Home Appliances
Bosch H.Bosch Home Appliances

Hi Eddy B., Thanks for your question. There are some slight differences between the two models.
For example the door hinge on both models is on the right, however model WTY877W0AU is also reversible. Also with WTW87564AU the display uses symbols, whilst WTY877W0AU uses English. To make things a little easier, please refer the link:.

Under each product there is a tiny 'add to product compare' box. If you select the two models you are interested in, the page should show you each appliance side by side, allowing you to do a comparison. If you need any more help, feel free to contact us on 1300 369 744.

Bosch Serie 8 Heat Pump Tumble Dryers

The manual for the WTW87566AU Heat Pump Dryer is contradictory. If the dryer is being plumbed in, on page 35 it says to take the filter and rubber stopper out of the condensation container and put them in a little holding recess. In that position the filter is not actually doing anything, as it's just sitting in a dent in the upper moulding of the container. Then, on page 37 it says "Only operate the appliance with the filter inserted. So, which is it?

Also, even after moving the hose to the "parking position" as instructed in the manual, and connecting the drain hose to the sink drain, there is still water in the condensation container after each cycle. Is that supposed to happen?

Hi Mickalex, Thanks for your question. If the appliance drain hose is plumbed to drain the water, then the rubber stopper and the filter should be removed (and placed as shown in the manual page 34 to 35). Otherwise (using water tank) the rubber stopper and the filter should in place as shown in page 37.
Even after removing the rubber stopper there will be some water in the tank, the tank always hold some water, it will not drain completely.
If you would like to speak to someone, please feel free to call us on 1300 369 744. Regards, Bosch Home Australia

Thanks for your answer. Perhaps at the next reprint of the manual the text on page 37 could be amended to clarify that "you should only operate the appliance with the filter inserted" only applies if using the water tank.
