2 of 4 elements of our one year old induction cooktop stopped working. It took just one phone call to Bosch Customer Service, not even one week later our cooktop has been fixed by very good Bosch's technician. Very impressed.

Rusting Cooktop
We purchased the Bosch PPQ7A6B20A 75cm Gas Cooktop with Tempered black glass.
We purchased all our kitchen appliances Bosch products including a dishwasher, double oven, rangehood and the cooktop. The only issue we have had is woth the cooktop. It looked great when installed and functionally its ok. Unfortunately, it has not withheld the stand of time and after only 4 years it is rusting in several areas around the burners. We purchased all our kitchen appliance through Bosch. Our oven has had its computer breakdown and then replaced within the first year. Dishwasher also has had its computer replaced. Stove top induction is now playing up and we just don't want to deal with Bosch.

Hopeless
We have a Bosch condenser dryer that broke down. A technician came out and advised we needed a new belt. Do you have one in your van, we asked. No, it will need to be brought out from Germany. What? Is your warehouse in Australia not big enough to hold belts? A week later, we get a call saying the belt had arrived in Australia. Could I call to arrange a time for the technician to come out to fit the belt. I was then advised that the belt actually hadn't arrived and that I would need to wait another two weeks. y it had arrived, the technician came out and told me that whilst he could fit the belt, that wasn't the problem because the motor was also broken and we would have to wait for another part to arrive. We asked, why did you not know this when you originally came out to inspect the machine? This was met with shoulder shrugs and a "I couldn't tell you" type response. By now our dryer had been broken about 4 weeks, in the middle of a Melbourne winter. This hopeless service can't be good for Bosch as it makes them look pathetic and damages the brand. What service.
Purchased several Bosch appliances of which our new cooktop has a fault, 3 weeks ago it was installed after several phone calls by my wife we are no closer to get a date to get it fixed. We did not get return phone calls as promised. They are really nice on the phone when you speak to them. Please fix our new cooktop.

At least one person knows what they are doing at Bosch
We bought a Porolytic oven, I spoke to 3 people over the phone, including one who hung up on me, they all didn't know what accessories were Porolytic proofproof. I ended up purchasing a tray I didnt want as i was told that was my only option. Calling up Bosch trying to explain a simple thing was impossible and frustrating. I'm giving this review 5 stars as Evonne in Home Appliances via email was so knowledgable and quickly turned around a my horrible experience into a good one, she even emailed me proof that the information she was giving me was correct and called me to provide me with options to resolve it.
I hope Bosch recognises outstanding customer service becuase after my experience they desperately need people like her.

Terrible service by BOSCH
Ticket#2019060593000128231 for the contact attempt with Bosch which by the way no one bothered contacting me back.
We bought a Bosch electric oven from Good Guys,in April HBA574BS0A/04 .The first time we used it, it blew the fuses in our home. It was defective from day one.When we asked it to be replaced we were told they will replace the part.It is very wrong as we bought a new oven and not even used it once it was a defective item.

Just a heads up for anyone wanting a large washing machine:
I bought a Bosch 9kg washer after reading all the reviews about how people love them and I agree with them in that it does a good clean. But how many people have read the instruction manual and realise that there is only ONE setting that you can do 9kg load in? Faulty and defective Bosch washer/dryer combo
Purchased the Bosch washer dryer combo just under 2 years ago. It was good for the first 3 months. After that period i noticed loud noises when it spins but put up with it as it still does the job. 2 weeks ago it just stopped spinning, tried to get it to spin again and again but no luck. ch i promptly sent to them via email. I received an automatic reply telling someone will contact me within 48 business hours. Since i have a young family and the washer is an essential item in our house hold, I called Bosch to request a date for the replacement washer, the answer I received was very generic like " there is a process we have to go through" and " we have to source the washing machine", Bosch was unable to tell me a date which they will replace my washer. I called Bosch again 2 days later and told them that the situation is unacceptable and i want a resolution straight away. After the customer service rep looked at my detailed, she advised me that Bosch have not link my tax invoice (as proof of purchase) with my job number so therefor the delay. I have a strong suspicion it was a delay tactic so i requested to speak to the manager. After waiting for about 5 minutes, she came back to me and said that the manager is on another call and she will call me at a later time. I would be extremely surprise if the manager will. My main ripe with Bosch is i paid a premium for a Bosch washer which turned out to be faulty and defective. What compounded the problem is Bosch reluctant to resolve the problem and unable to give me the timeline for the replacement. I cant imagine it is too hard for Bosch to "source" another washer and arrange for delivery. Bosch, you need to treat your customer with care and compassion.1 comment

Don't buy bosch
I have a bosch washing machine .Which has been fixed by bosch itself for the very same issue it is getting repaired for now Stops mid cycle and takes Hours to wash a load which doesnt wash it properly.It has been repaired 3 times this will be the 4th the repairs in total have been worth more than the machine itself.Save your money dont buy a lemon from Bosch.

A Terrible company and product
Paid over $1700 for a cooktop in Oct 2016 and installed in new house Late Feb 2017, Electronics died April 2022 and could not turn on. Contacted Bosch and was completely ignored. Just not good enough. We purchased thinking we were getting a good brand as we had installed Bosch in our previous house a couple of years earlier. Have been advised by repairman that this is standard treatment from Bosch and the way they treat all claims or enquires.

Don't buy Bosch dishwashers
I bought my dishwasher (Bosch SMP66MX01A) in January this year and it's broken down 8 times because of error24 - blocked drain, which is not covered by warranty. Bosch won't touch this problem and says it has nothing to do with them. Apparently, this is how the machine is supposed to work. You have to clean out the filters every week. I've never come across a machine so delicate and fussy, nor have I ever paid so much for one! Also, don't trust the reviews on appliances online. They are selected and not representative.

Everything breaks - slow to respond
We kitted our house out with Bosch appliances. Chose the more expensive German built models due to impressive reviews. So far, dishwasher, washing machine and steam oven have broken, all just outside warranty period. Terrible products and service
we bought a Bosch clothes washer WAW28460AU only had it 1 to 2 years approx and already broken and cant use it, service is slow and expensive, we are waiting for the external technicians to come over a week. we though by paying more and ordering a so called better brand we would be better off but obviously not, we wish we purchased a different brand, we also had a bad experience with a Bosch fridge, similar issues broke not long after buying it, now I think its Bosch that are poor quality.

Awful experience - five stars for non service delivery - you’ll be on your own if anything goes wrong.
Have Bosch dishwasher which is flooding. Reported it to service to be told there was a recall on it and did I want a new one for 70% discount. Great, but that’s where good news ends. It’s been two weeks now they do not return calls, do not contact when they say and frankly act like a bodgy backyard operator - not a major global German brand - do not seem to care. I am now toying with paying full retail with a competitor rather than support this nonsense.

Still waiting nearly four weeks on from first reporting. This company does not care.
New dishwasher finally installed by their agent. Completely unnecessary aggravation on the part of Bosch's processes. Still leaves me reluctant to consider them for any major appliance purchase in future.

extremely bad service
Oh my, so many bad reviews! I can actually understand the frustration of all these people because I am one of them. I have spoken to someone at customer service department four times and have yet to have a repair person make an appointment with me. The story of someone will call you between 1-2 days is absolute nonsense! I am now considering not buying Bosch ever again as there are other wonderful products out there.

Excellent outcome
After my machine machine failed due to an electrical fault i lodges a service request through the online portal. I didn't hear anything back from them so spoke the the customer service team. The technicians were extremely busy and came out following a 2 week wait. Once the technician came out he determines it was a manufacturing fault and said that Bosch would replace the machine and refund the service fee even though the machine was out of warranty. The machine itself while it worked was brilliant and am looking forward to receiving my new one.

Poor customer service, no response - been a month trying to replace Dishwasher under warranty
Hi there a job was logged by the out going vendor to get a Dishwasher fixed. Bosch had a technician come out on 26 Apr and said parts are missing. Parts were ordered and almost been a month. After going back and forth it was agreed to replace the Dishwasher on 13 May as we have tenants moving in. I contacted them again today as we next week and have had no response yet. I called this morning again and was told someone will call me to give an update. It has left me no choice but to post the review re the service. Booking Ref #970327644

Jill, I do not know anything about the dryer you have but seems strange after 2 runnings it is still not dry. try the dry setting - if not get them to check it out.as they Suppose to provide good service to customers- good luck
No help thanks. The dryest setting is "Cupboard Dry" and that still does not dry sufficiently to put in a cupboard without mould developing. Do you even know your product and it's instruction panel?
