What a waste of money
When it works, it works well. However 7 years to the day it's dead; after spending over $4,000 buying this unit and another $1,000 in repairs. Standard 3 bed weatherboard home; have been told the unit is too big for our 6 outlet house; I could only go on what ColdFlow recommended. We now have constant error codes of 11 and 19 - which sure I've been told how to reset, but what's the point when you have to do this every 10 minutes!!! The only option we have now is spend another $2,700 to replace the whole unit - which we have been advised was ...Read more
a lemon in the first place. So the question is; should we bother going with another Braemar??? Or go with another brand- as spending this much money on heating in 7 years is quite simply ridiculous - especially as we are currently only a 1 income household. Not happy jan.Purchased in May 2021 for A$4,185.00.

Warms our house in minutes
Have just changed over from reverse cycle to this Braemer gas ducted heating system. The difference is amazing. Even on the coldest mornings, you can feel the house starting to warm in minutes. After running for less than an hour, it turns itself off, and then only needs to run about 5 minutes per hour to maintain the temperature. The reverse cycle was completely ineffective in the cold. Even after having it serviced, it would run continuously but only warm the house very slowly. And on cold mornings it did next to nothing.

Neat Heat
Any heating unit replacing a Vulcan Quasar gas wall furnace could be considered, to say the least a bonus. Purchased the Braemar THM520 some three weeks ago and "to date" more than happy with units overall performance. Nine ceiling outlets also incorporating common and two additional zones has ensured even distribution and quick heat delivery throughout the house. Aussie made with great warranty. Only downside -- perhaps a dash noisy.
