This unit is crab and also warranty service. Feel sorry for my money and time. Strongly don’t recommend to any one.
Every year it has an issue and you have to wait for their technicians at least one to two weeks to fix it. This year it stared noisy and called to fix it, waited almost one week and their technician came and told me he can’t fix because he doesn’t have the parts. Called the service centre again and they told me they ordered the parts and will call me once the parts arrived. I don’t understand how they sell the goods that they don’t have the parts. I have young children and in this freezing temperature we don’t have heating. I strongly don’t recommend this product or this company to anyone. Their good is headache as well their service.

I had this installed last year very disappointed at the beginning, it made great noise I called up for a service, quoted from the onsite technician "it was design issue" (he forced to move the fan parts a little up). Days later, the unit totally stopped working, gratefully they sent technician on that week the technician promised the issue been fixed and it'd be all good. Weeks later the heater stopped working again, had to call the service hotline expressed my frustration as that's the 3rd time of repair within one month. The onsite technician nearly replaced all of the parts of the heater. I haven't had any other major issue after that.Purchased in April 2021 for A$4,100.00.

Keep the house warm efficiently
Replaced a broken Brivis (10 years old) with a smaller TQ516 in Feb 2020. At first I was a little concerned it’s too small but Coldflow assured me it’s sufficient for my house. The heater has been running very well and warm up the house reasonably quickly. I still need to find ways to verify if it’s as energy efficient as it claimed. So far my gas bill seemed to be “a bit lower than last year” same period.
The MagicQTouch controller is easy to use and easy to program. Only drawback is that you can only have 4 different settings in a day. Brivis allows you to have more, e.g. (1) turn on at 6am, (2) turn off at 10am, (3) turn on at 4pm, (4) lower the temperature at 10pm, (5) turn it off at 12am.

Worst purchase ever..
I have had this heater for 14 months with ongoing issues. The heater will not stay on for more than 5 mins before turning off. I have had the service tech out 4 times and they still have not been able to resolve the issue. They tried to blame the install but I have change everything they ask for and still the heater has issues. I’m concerned that when the warranty runs out I’ll buy stuck with a lemon.
Clearly they have fundamental issues with this product. Has anyone had any success in getting their money back?

Perfect unit to keep your house warm
We purchased a two year old house with this unit. As the days got colder we started to use it. At first it was noisey. I turned the fan speed down which made the unit overheat.
Turns out the previous owners did not clean the filter and it was clogged which is why it was noisey. The repair agent told us to take the filter out because it was dirty and restricting the air.
Now we have a very warm and quiet house. At first, I thought there was something wrong because the house was warm but the machine was quiet.

Installer Pascoes Plumbing purchased and installed this unit in May 2018. On the day of installment the unit failed to fire up and I was told a lumen needed to be replace. Oct 2018

ested a extended warranty from today's date, it was a no. I requested a new unit,it was a no. He made me feel like it was my fault your company's unit failed. Not impressed and I have notified him I am going to Consumer affairs Victoria and write to your CEO. I am very frustrated and have no confidence in this latest fix. Refusal to give me an extended warranty from today indicates Seeley international has no confidence in their own product. Faulty Product
For the past 3 years we had an old Brivis model (maybe 10-15 years old) that had no issues until May this year when it stopped working.
We were advised we were better off replacing the whole unit instead of repairing it as it would likely continue to break. We got this Braemer TQS320 model (in May 2022), it is now October and it's already stopped working with fault code 007.
As it's still well within warranty, we're getting someone out, but I honestly think based on this experience that Braemers aren't that good.
I even questioned the reviews of this heater with Weatherworld (business that supplied it) and they assured me these a rare instances.
Purchased in May 2021 at Weatherworld Heating & Cooling for A$2,455.45.

Very disappointing!
Q5X20 installed in July 2018. After a couple of adjustments with zoning the system worked fantastically. After only three weeks there was a malfunction (which has not shown up as an error on the system) and the unit was no longer able to heat my small, split level lounge area. tem is very noisy and runs for hours trying to achieve a 3 degree increase in temperature of the room. Even though the unit had worked well for a short period, I'm now told that I can't expect to heat this zone as well as the rest of the house due to the split level - go figure! Believe the reviews - this is a garbage product
Professionally installed, and worked for a couple of years, but the heater constantly failed this winter with an overheating error code, even when thermostat is set to 18c! Always getting technician out for warranty call who only resets the controller board, but it is so obvious it is something else triggering the error code - they just can't be bothered to look for it or address it. We've had gas heaters go for 20 years+ but these units can't seem to live more than a couple of years. Feel like ripping it out and throwing it on the nature strip to get a new one, but Seeley probably own all the competitor brands so we are screwed in Australia. What a waste of time and money.

the heater down two times within two weeks
I Installed Braemar TQM618 on the 14 August 2022. because I believe it is a good one then I removed the old gas heater from the wall, but two days later on the Friday night gas heater down, and we were in the frozen house for the week end because the old gas heater had been removed, the technician fixed it on Tuesday 20-08019, but last night 29-8-19 the heater down again.

Lasted two months before breaking.
Can't say I'm happy with Braemar. Really disappointed actually. For two reasons:
1. We had a brand new unit installed, and two and half months later it's broken down.
2. Had to wait three days for their technician to come out and when they did, we missed them. We weren’t told a time to expect them, or that it’s a full day booking. So my wife took our baby to a café to keep warm. She missed their phone call and now we’re told we can’t have another technician for five more days.
A lot of regrets right now.

Great heater when it works.
Has been a great heater in terms of size for the house. Had a lot of set up issues. After 5 months had a fault on a fri afternoon no service available for help even over the phone. Can’t get as service tech until late next week. We have 3 kids. Also my sister and baby coming on the weekend. During coldest weekend of the year. Devastated.

Awful experience so far
We had a Braemar TQ315N series installed on 8th July 2022 . As it was not working efficiently we have made complaints 3 times and they came over, and each time they could tell it was not heating. on the 4th visit it was decided we should change the ducts as they had collapsed and heat was not flowing, and changed the vents as well. 0n the 5th visit on 22nd July this was done. Still not happy as we have to put it on high and are not getting heat in the lounge. Rang Seeley who sent a technician on 31st July. He changed the control. Told us the lounge is not heating because it is the furthest room to the unit. The new unit was put in the same spot. We NEVER had problem with the old heater we had for 17 years.

Please avoid these units at all costs
You can only run these units flat out (fan speed 8-10) running below this speed will cause the unit to fail. As such the house gets really hot with blaring fan noise and then gets freezing when it turns off. I have had two units fail with Seeley International refusing to warrant the second unit as they claimed my gas pressure was too low. Please do not purchase this product as your money will be wasted.

I had the Braemar TQ4X30 gas ducted heating with the add on cooler installed in late 2016 (with noise reduction at extra cost). There was no need to use the heater until winter came about in 2017. There have been continuous issues with Fault 07. Service people had stated that the return air filter needed cleaning out regularly (by the way, this had been done to no avail). It’s a lemon
Installed last year have multiple failures, not working all. Very disappointed as old one we replaced (Brivis) worked for 15 yrs without missing a beat. Repair service was poor until we made a lot of noise and as we are now regular customers service has improved.

Good... when/if it’s working
We had unit installed 4 years ago, costing us over $9k (ducted under floor). We have had repeated and varied issues since it was installed. It doesn’t seem to like cold climate! Which is a pity because it’s bitter cold here in winter. 100% wish I had better researched heating options before getting this unit. Also expensive to run compared to our reverse cycle, (despite assurances that electricity cost would not be much for the heater’s fan) not including all the maintenance and repair costs we’ve encountered.

A brand new Braemar TQ420N installed on 18 April 2022, it stopped working the next morning (19 April 2022), had to call Seeley to repair.
On 7 May 2022, the heater stopped working again (less than 3 weeks after installation).

Just had my ducted heater installed yesterday by Joel from Coldflow heating and cooling. He did an awesome job and the unit works perfectly. Except for the sound of air getting sucked into the inlet we hardly notice the unit on at all. Very happy with the choice and price.

Hi Peter, I don’t know much about heating system but I was also recommended by the company about this product but was discouraged from installer and he was encouraging me to install the old system (3 star). He told me that it is the new technology and big headache and complicated. I found the product big head ache and waste of money. Every year it has a problem. I am curious if the unit last it’s warranty. It is two weeks I don’t have any heating. I don’t recommend the product as well warranty service.

Hi, My name is Greg Lawson I have a THM520N. The unit occasionally fails to start. The problem started last season and about four or five times a week it fails to start, no fault code just had to reset and all good. Any suggestions? Thanks

The problem is usually because the filter is dirty. I removed my filter and fixed the issue. It restricts the airflow. My unit ended up overheating because the filter was clogged. Take the filter out and don't have your fan speed lower than 5.
If your filter was the issue, you may have some hidden error 4's in the back end which means you have overheated the unit, and may need some parts replaced.
Thanks for your input Steven M. I do keep the filter clean. Checked it anyway and yes it is clean. Unit runs on auto fan speed 8. I am now going to go through the home and away menus to make sure they are all on 8.
