Replaced a 10 year old Brivis 2P Wombat. $4290 which did not include a programmable Thermostat. So paid an extra $434 for a Honeywell FocusPRO 6000 thermostat.
The heater heats well except that it is noisy and cycles on and off until it reaches the required temperature. It should be operating continuously at a slower speed and lower noise until it reaches temperature. This is a bad design fault.
Can this be changed?

Takes ages to heat the house, told this would be more efficient but frankly it’s the worst heater we’ve ever had.
Our previous unit heated the whole house up to temp within an hour, this piece of crap take 3 -4 hours + to elevate temp from approx 14 to 18 degrees.
To be balanced, starts every time when switched on which saves on eliminating the pilot lights continuously burning. These are the only positives I can say. Very disappointed.

For the last 2 weeks my 5 years old unit turns off by itself after 4 - 8 hours of working. Experts do not know what is wrong with it. Suggested buying different brand.

Installed as a change over about 3 years ago it replaced a very old Vulcan which soldiered on for several years but was very inefficient for its output.
For 3 years the unit has not had any issues, it's operated far more efficiently and effectively than it's predecessor.
It had its first issue a couple weeks ago where it stopped working.
It was fixed under warranty in about 15 minutes by the technician whom said it stopped working due to a switch controlling the fan that had failed.
Purchased in for $1,980.

Inherited this unit with a house we bought and was terrified after reading the scathing reviews here but so far so good, been two months and our three-bedroom house is nice and warm, however, it stopped once. Opened the lid, found the "Error Reset" switch which did the trick for now. I would assume the self troubleshooting is not everyone's cup of tea but it got me out of trouble for now.

Since day one the unit keeps switching off . Had installation people out twice . First time blamed vents under the house, had new ones done. Second time saying they don’t know why might be the exchange . The unit is turning off every second /or daily . Would never recommend this brand to anyone. It’s only 1 year old now and don’t know what to do ....

We are getting our 2nd technician to come out. Salesman assured us Braemar was the best product on the market. Unit fails continuously and getting worse. Seely are suggesting its our fault and will charge us. The system is 4 months old. I was told it was efficient to run. Its not.

This heating unit replaced a 32 year old Brivis Buffalo which had served us well over the years. The unit was recommended by our supplier over a Brivis replacement.
The unit is a neat box and less bulky than the old unit.
The unit provides a better level of heat and has a stronger air flow so there is an overall improvement throughout our house.
However the unit is far noisier than the old Brivis and produces a roaring sound inside the family room closest to the unit. This is despite double brick walls to the house.

Heater was professionally installed by Ben Air in Bendigo Vic (I wouldn't recommend them either!) From day one they couldn't get the unit to work and over the next week or so they came back and forth replacing bits and pieces until it finally worked properly. A few months later and into the first few weeks of winter we are sitting around a Kmart electric heater waiting for Ben Air to come and try to fix it. The controller says it's on but the heater is not doing anything. No heat, no fan, nothing. I really hope people read all of these reviews before anyone else buys these rubbish heaters.

For the past 3 years we had an old Brivis model (maybe 10-15 years old) that had no issues until May this year when it stopped working.
We were advised we were better off replacing the whole unit instead of repairing it as it would likely continue to break. We got this Braemer TQS320 model (in May 2022), it is now October and it's already stopped working with fault code 007.
As it's still well within warranty, we're getting someone out, but I honestly think based on this experience that Braemers aren't that good.
I even questioned the reviews of this heater with Weatherworld (business that supplied it) and they assured me these a rare instances.

Professionally installed, and worked for a couple of years, but the heater constantly failed this winter with an overheating error code, even when thermostat is set to 18c! Always getting technician out for warranty call who only resets the controller board, but it is so obvious it is something else triggering the error code - they just can't be bothered to look for it or address it. We've had gas heaters go for 20 years+ but these units can't seem to live more than a couple of years. Feel like ripping it out and throwing it on the nature strip to get a new one, but Seeley probably own all the competitor brands so we are screwed in Australia. What a waste of time and money.

We had a Braemar TQ315N series installed on 8th July 2022 . As it was not working efficiently we have made complaints 3 times and they came over, and each time they could tell it was not heating. on the 4th visit it was decided we should change the ducts as they had collapsed and heat was not flowing, and changed the vents as well. 0n the 5th visit on 22nd July this was done. Still not happy as we have to put it on high and are not getting heat in the lounge. Rang Seeley who sent a technician on 31st July. He changed the control. Told us the lounge is not heating because it is the furthest room to the unit. The new unit was put in the same spot. We NEVER had problem with the old heater we had for 17 years.

Wish we had gone electric. This new heater has been in for 2 weeks and is already faulting. We have called the supplier and now await a service call. It’s doesnt heat as well or as quickly as our old one and is way noisier. We have to turn up the tv when it comes on. Ridiculous! Bad bad. I really recommend spending the extra on an electric system and wish we had. Very unhappy.
