Where is the pilot light please.
What does it mean when green and red lights are flashing and it keeps cutting out?
Hi Amanda I’m having the same trouble with my heater, it’s seems that the thermostat once the heater warms up it cuts out and the red and green lights start flashing, it’s only 12 months old
Same problem with our Braemer WF25N, plumber has assessed and as less than a year old, it will be a warranty job. Seems to be a common fault with these models.
If 3 red lights flashing it is supposedly 'check to see gas turned on' well considering it is mains gas that is not the issue. putting settings onto 7 or 8 red lights ie highest gives us some warmth ...
Read morefor about 30 minutes then it goes back to shut down. Anything less than 7 or 8 it shuts down completely with the flashing 3 red lights and green light. Not happy Jan or should I say Braemer, it is bitterly cold and this is what I have a heater less than 18mths old, used for 3 months and it has packed it in.How do I get the yellow button off and the red lights from flashing off
I an frustrating when turn my unit on in the chill morning in this winter. The unit does not start, it clicks on and run in 20 seconds then off for 30 seconds and kicks on again then off...on and off but neither heat of fan is on. I call Braemar for service, they come and found the cob webs blocking the flue on the roofs, the removed it and the unit works. It does for a month and same thing happens again. I call Braema again, they come and remove a little cob web then the unit works again.
It now for a month now, working alright but this morning, the unit does the same thing again.... I am frustrated to call Braema for service again and again. Please help to stop this annoying problem. Much appreciated Braema....
Did this have first three red lights and green light flashing all at once when this happened ???
No, there is no green light in the panel. only 8 red dot lights there and all lit but the unit kicks on but the gas does not activate.... therefore no heat.....comes out.....
My unit stopped working f...
This sounds like the same issue we’ve had. I’ve been trying for a year and a half to get ours fixed and even the service centre that deals with warranty is getting annoyed with me now.
are there any fuses in the motor, had a spark then stoped work
My wf25 wall furnace will shut off 5 minutes after turning on with all lights on the panel flashing. I turn it of from power point and try again and does the same thing every time. Can I reset these things or do I need a technician to come out?
My WF25 is frequently tripping with the error code the first three LED's flashing. The manual says check the gas is turned on. The gas is turned on but the WF25 still keeps tripping with the same fault. What can we do?. The problem only appeared after a technician replaced the noisy main fan under warranty.
Hello Graeme
We have provided this information in response to your review but you can find a service agent at the following web address - https://www.seeleyinternational.com/residential/find-a-service...
Mine is doing exactly the same thing, with same lights when error.
Going to be a bloody long cold winter for us, already seeing minus 2 overnight and our only heater doesn’t function for more than 2-5min at a time. ...
Read moreI don’t have the money to have it replaced or fixed. Reading the reviews on here, it looks like it’ll be quicker and cheaper to have it replaced. Now I just hope I win Tattslotto so I can afford too. Wish it had never been installed to begin with. How do you find the pilot light
The pilot light can only be lit with the push button piezo igniter as there is no direct access to the flame, so if the igniter fails then it’s a service call. At least with the old model you could use a match if needed.
I found the pilot light would not ignite until the unit was plugged into the power point and switched on. Unfortunately you can’t see any flame on this unit, so I listen to see if it ignites, not too good if you’re hearing is impaired.
Looking to replace old Braemar wall furnace with WF25 My daughter has disabilities and just needs easy to use controls,No lighting oo pilot etc. Also have fan noises & cutting in and out problems I have read about been fixed
Russell
The advantage would be that the controls are not at the bottom like the older model, but you still have to re-light the pilot if the electricity goes out. That's a built-in fail-safe that I think all ...
Read moregas heaters must have now. The re-lighting process is the same. Hold the gas button down and press the piezo button several times. I think the fan is fairly loud on high, but not too bad on normal. It heats quite effectively, but I haven't got very many other positives to say. It looks nice, it works okay but I think with some decent planning it could have been a much better heater.Hi there, just wondering if anyone has bought this unit recently and having the same problems as above. I am planning to replace an existing old wall furnace non working heater. Any suggestions for a good wall furnace heater as all the reviews are pushing me down for eco-superstar WF25?
Installer came around today. Heater wouldn't start because the pilot light was OFF even though it looked ON to me. Problem solved!
Don't buy wf25 Braemar
Try another brand
Braemar nothing but trouble
I am going to reverse cycle air conditioner safer and more reliable I hope

How come my Braemar wall furnace heater stinks? It's brand-new have only used It over two days, thought the smell was just dust and would go away. No such luck, it's still stinks the house out. And the noise from the fan is driving wifey crazy. Could be a very cold winter?
I just got a new wall furnace and it stinks also, like
Burning dust, plastic something, the plumber came around before and reckons he couldn’t smell anything, as if? Then called me love. I should have called him love back.
Why only getting 110 volts to the room fan?
We got 2 of these in 2014. They work well, but from the start we had a small but annoying issue with both. Every now and then (when too cold or windy?) one or the other would just shut off. When switched back on only 1 light (lowest heat setting) displayed. Okay from there. Sometimes when you fire up on a cold morning there is a flash through all of the lights before it shuts off, then you start up as before. We had the techies out a couple of times early on but they could not find anything. We adjusted furniture etc to make sure that air outflow was not being blocked, but no difference, and it would never happen when the techie was there. We could have pushed to get the controller replaced under warranty but settled against. Today (now) we have the techie around as one of them has most of its lights flashing and wont reboot. Do any of these things sound familiar to anyone with this heater?
Sorry but we did not finish up purchasing a Braemar Unit -
I seem to be having a similar issue. The system starts operating then shuts down after 30 seconds! I have had multiple visits from gas plumbers but seems to be very temperamental - to the point my tenant wont even use it now! Any updates Matt?
Hi Robin. We forced some action from the authorised service people even though we were out of warrantee. This because the issue was first raised within the warrantee period but was obviously not addre...
Read moressed properly We were put in touch with a Seeley rep. An agreement was made to split the costs between Seeley and us, on the understanding that we would pay 100% for any future service. The service bods did a more thorough job this time and some adjustments were made to the flues. I can't remember what exactly. I don't think controllers were replaced. Anyway through winter 2017 performance was much better with the occasional similar hiccup. Since then one of the units often makes an electronic humming / buzzing sound for some minutes after shutdown. No biggy. Hoping for things to stay the same this season. Heaters have been on a bit recently. So far so good. So I would suggest you approach manufacturers Seeley, as they may have more knowledge of this issue and how best to tackle, or at least what was done to improve ours. Good luck. They are very good units when they are working properly. Matt.Should my unit make a humming noise even when it has been turned off all day? Only way to stop the noise is to turn it off at the plug. This is also the noisiest heater i have ever heard when turned on. I have big regrets in buying this product.
NO - It should not make any noise if not in use !!! That was advice from an installer. Regrettably, we had heard a few bad reports about this heater being exceptionally noisy and that is why we abs...

Good LuckMy installer explained that the WF25 tended to turn itself on and off quite a lot due to the high star rating which was a commonly complained about feature of this unit here. It's the main reason i op...
Read moreted for the WF30 and i have been pretty happy with it. I don't think that humming all day unless the power is off could be much else except a continuously running fan which should not be the case. It sounds like it needs attention. Good luck.I just paid the deposit on a WF25 yesterday before seeing these reviews. Now I'm kicking myself! I also just came across this product recall from August last year:
https://www.recalls.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/1061881.
I'm assuming (but will be double checking as soon as the store opens today) that the problem leading to the recall has been rectified. My question is, could the problems with noisy running be related to this fault and has anyone had better experiences since then?
I'm not sure whether the fault could have been related to the noisy running. Our serial number is much later, so the fault in the earlier ones shouldn't be a problem now. Although if you are concerne...
Read mored, I'd suggest giving Braemar a call. We are still very happy with the purchase - it's doing a great job heating the place and we haven't encountered any problems so far.Hello Sarah C, my heater is a WF30. I know the WF25 is slightly different, but to answer your question I understand the problem with the noise is not related to the recall issue. If you are considerin...
Read moreg installing this heater I would urge you not to install it close to to the TV/lounge area or bedrooms due to the loud noise. Also there is a big issue with the way that Braemar products work due to the unavailability of choosing any functions of the heat control or fan speeds. This is all automatic, which is annoying when it is continuously turning itself on and off.A lot of the reviews complain about the very high noise levels from the fan. The last review here is about 6 months ago, so wondering/hoping the problem has been rectified. I have a D12 that is 30 years old, and looking to make a change and the WF25 is supposed to be a direct replacement, but the reviews here for it overall as so bad for it. Any new good news about the current versions of the WF25?
Hi Valdis,
I wish I could say the noisy fan has settled down or been rectified, unfortunately is is no better than when it was first installed, there is no way it can be adjusted to be quieter, also ...
Many thanks for letting me know Chris, albeit not with the answer I was hoping for. Sad to read that you haven't been able to find a workaround either. I am now looking at replacing it with a "RINNA...
Read moreI ENERGYSAVER 309FT HEATER " which is about as wide but shorter height, and then do a bit of plastering of the wall to fill in the gap left over. The reviews for Rinnai gas heaters seem mostly positive. Alternatively I can push harder on some of the gas fitters to recondition the D12. One fitter said old gas heaters can crack over time and let in noxious fumes in the house instead of going up the flue. Ideally one can just keep on refreshing my existing D12 if possible and not ridiculously expensive nor dangerous to do so. Have to keep on asking around. Thanks again for your help Chris.Hi Valdis,
The WF 25 is very noisy. It heats well but drives my husband crazy. I really can't understand why the designers haven't come up with a solution. I would not purchase another one. We have a...
I had a Braemar Eco-star WF25 (with remote) installed mid 2012 replacing a 30 year old DC12. I love this gas heater except... The unit started making terrible noises. The flu fan had filled with water by mid 2014 and the heater stopped working. Service guy removed the flu fan unit and emptied the water. It worked fine until now (11 months later) the same noise is happening. I know these Eco heaters produce a lot of condensate and have a tube which is lets this drip into a small pan where the heated air comes out at the bottom of the unit. The hot air then evaporates the condensate. Mine obviously doesn't do this. Braemar said there could be a bit of dust, or spiders or bugs stuck in the nipple. Or rain could be penetrating the flu, and to call (and pay for) the service guys to get them to check it all out. How can dust block this nipple? Is it too small? And am I going to have to call them out the service guys every year to fix it? And pay for it! Has anyone else had this problem?
