Nice quality
Very nice quality. Easily make great coffee. Simply love it. The automatic start every morning is also so useful. Took 5 mins to make a cup of coffee and clean up everything. Best coffee experience ever. Definitely will recommend to anyone I know. Already told a few friends to buy the same one.

Solid machine; good gateway machine into the world of high end espresso
This can produce a proper coffee if used correctly. My issue was that it was a tad inconsistent. You really have to dial in the grind, tamp evenly, etc. The steam is really good; it's as powerful as many higher end models. Overall, a decent buy if you're looking to learn more about coffee.

It is good with this price
I am happy with this machine, I used to run a coffee shop, this machine make the coffee very similar to the shop one. It is cheap, I brought from Myers, it was around 300 dollars. When I brought it, I found target only sold for 260, it’s discontinued product. One thing, I would like to compalain about the temperature, my husband like drink coffee every morning, he always says the temperature is too low

Cafe quality coffee at home
This machine will pay for itself in the savings you will make by making a "take away" coffee from home. Easy to set up and use. Dual boiler function is great as you can heat your milk while the coffee is dispensing. We always get comments on the taste of our coffee. Choose a good quality organic coffee bean and you will be set!

With only a slight learning curve, the best value for money coffee machine
I would argue that this model outclasses all other Breville models, due to the fully manual nature of its operation. You have much more control of the entire process, and at this stage, human control is highly superior to the fully automated Brevilles. Furthermore, having the grinder and the coffee machine as a separate unit makes it easier to clean, and service, as you can send in one piece without the other (c.f. the Breville Oracle).
This machine really does make commercial grade coffee. It can brew at a full 9-bars of pressure - however I...Read more

Best coffee machine for value
Great value home coffee machine. Excellent pressure and dual boiler too. Meaning I don’t have to wait a while before I can steam my milk. It makes consistent cup of good espresso, if you know what you’re doing. The grinder is ok, had a bit of issue in caibrating the burr, but very good value for money.

Always reliable
The price of this machine which adjusts coffee pressure and flow time is excellent value. I have been using it twice a day for nearly two years, and it works flawlessly. Cleaning is easy with the tablets, and the pressure gauge is good guidance to grinding your coffee. Perfect coffee every time.

Love it!
I was spending so much money on coffees everyday so thought it would be a smarter idea to just buy my own coffee machine. After a lot of research, I decided on this one. I just turn it on when I woke up in morning, let it warm itself up and then make my coffee. It does take a littler longer than using a coffee machine that uses pods but it is still definitely worth getting one because the coffee is better and customisable to you. It's just like having a mini barista in your home :)

Great machine. Makes cafe tasting coffee
Tastes better than any coffee machine coffee I've ever had. The steamer heats up milk very very quickly and it's very simple to get the hang of. Also easy to clean it has great functions letting you know it's ready for a clean automatically. With the grinder it's easier to make great coffee. We tried with ground beans aswell for convenience but the grinder is really so well suited to this coffee maker.

Perfect home espresso machine
Don't let the coffee snobs persuade you otherwise. This machine is more than enough for your coffee needs.
Easy to use. Quick setup. Looks nice.
The dual boiler function is helpful, because you don't have to wait for the temperature to adjust from using the steam wand to pulling a shot.

Had this for 5 years and still going strong!
Makes great coffee, easy to use, a breeze to clean. I love it, paired with my grinder pro. I know there are better coffee machines out there but this one meets our needs completely. I like the manual type machines rather than the press a button for your coffee and this fits the bill. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Coffee
Cafe style coffee at home or the office!
After our $400 coffee machine died we decided to spend the bit extra and pick up one of these on special from Harvey Norman and WOW the difference in coffee is outstanding, we make coffee for all our staff and clients and have had only good feedback.
The free 3 months of coffee was just an added bonus!

Absolutely Perfect!
We're really pleased with this machine. I did a bit of research before purchasing. The coffee is superb cafe quality and the machine is just so incredibly easy to use and clean. Two lattes takes approx 4 mins from switching the machine on to finishing making the coffee! It's now hard to have coffees out as this machine makes the best coffee all the time!

Beautiful Machine!
Great coffee machine. It's the best on the market for an all manual machine. Awesome grinder, hardly any overspray of coffee when grinding. Highly recommended purchasing! Will not be disappointed.
Great tasting coffee. Also love how it tells me it needs to be descaled. Runs very quitely.
Has a wheel to help move the machine which is great.

Good machine, great coffee...
Very early days, had it for 3 days....The BEP920BSS is my 1st Espresso Coffee machine. I did a fair bit of research before buying and chose this among many others as I wanted dual boiler (not thermoblock) for powerful steam and fast operation. I took a few hours playing with it to learn about it and to get it making coffee the way I personally like it, I am a complete newby... With a little practice it's quite easy to use and to program. I found it consistent and fast once I worked out the grinder dose etc. I bought it new for AU$799 from Har...Read more
vey Norman (grinder bought separately - both come as a kit called BES920 rather than just the machine which is BEP920). As some have has issues with their machine I decided to get the 4 year extended warranty (now 6 years in total as this is in addition to 2 year factory warranty) which was about $140, which is still only $840. A bargain, at this time I couldn't be happier with it. 6 MONTH UPDATE. July 2018 now, the machine has made 100s if not 000s of great cups of great coffee. Haven't found anything I don't like, it's a very good quite powerful all 'round machine. 10/10 for value, the coffee and features. 2 YEAR UPDATE. Still going strong, still makes great coffee and still no issues whatsoever. Remain very happy with this machine, strongly recommend.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Don’t ignore ‘De-scale!’
I have had this machine 12 months now. It had been So good! My ‘drink coffee in a café’ bill has been cut to about 10%! This machine has paid for itself more than twice. Add to that, the ability to serve your visitors a cup of coffee you can be proud of.
Last week the ‘De-scale’ alert showed up on the display during warm up time. The procedure for rescaling is straightforward, but, once I exited the program, the alert was still there. The water in this area is bickle-hard, and after a half dozen attempts, the alerts was still there.

Works well
Both products work very well. Its great that you can froth the milk and that it pours coffee at the same time. Grinder grinds well ..you need to adjust it every time you use a different coffee. Easy to clean. Has a "clean me now" icon which is helpful to tell you when you need to insert a tablet in it to clean. Very happy with product.

Good coffee but failed after 3 years and irreparable, not really good enough Breville
I absolutely loved this machine whilst it was working. It does make excellent coffee that is as good or better than what you can get from most cafes. I was also surprised at how effective the companion grinder was, the timed grinding helped to get consistent dosing and speeds the brewing process. After just under three years it started playing up randomly for a few months before finally failing to heat up. When I took it to the repair place they said it had been leaking internally from the boilers and had corroded the fittings and ruined the ci...Read more
rcuit board. It was unfortunately not economically repairable. As a second generation machine I would have thought Breville would have learned something from all the complaints about the BES900 leaking. So three years of great coffee brewing cost me ~$500 per year. I expected at least 5 or more years from this machine. Not really good enough and I will not buy another one. I'll look for something of higher quality from Europe that is durable and repairable. Yes it will cost more butSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I have recently completed a descale on my dual boiler. Reset and all good, however, when I turn in machine, with Water tank half full, i can hear machine filling up with water then reaches temperature and extracts well (9.5 bar) and steams milk, however after I turn it off, water must be leaking from machine as within few hours the drip tray is completely full of water and the water tank is empty - didn’t do this before the descale? Any ideas?

I have just purchased BES920 today, and this machine makes a big noise when brewing. Checked YouTube and found same problem someone posted but he just ended up to use it as is. Pp suggested it is the air trapped in the boiler, but my machine made the noise since the first coffee. Anyone knows I can fix this?

Hi there. I need some help with my BES 920. It has run faultless for the first 12 to 18 months but after that the pre infusion randomly plays up. Sometimes It works normally but most of the time when you press either of shot buttons you just get what I assume is the solenoid valve humming and no pre-infusion until it reaches the 7 seconds before full pressure comes in and pours a less than acceptable shot. After searching for the problem I have replaced the solenoid valve thinking that was the issue but it still does the same thing. I have learnt to get around the problem by dispensing some hot water and then doing a shot which works every time but just a band aid for the problem. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be? Anyone else with the same problem? Looking for a solution. Thanks
