Hired machine and purchased required chemicals. I have used similar machines before but not Britex.
I thought using the machine and the end cleaning result were terrible.
Pile picked up only owing to sheer effort involved. Any mark needed to be hand removed (and it was only dirt, not sticky or oily marks).
An enormous effort for very little result.
Recommend hiring a better machine from a cleaning company/warehouse. Ive done this multiple times with brilliant results but today thought Id save an extra 15 mins driving and hire the Britex from local supermarket = big mistake.

Hired from Coles Capalaba Park, very helpful. Machine cleaned 4 x 4 in 30 mins, not bad for a first time. Dried in about 3 hrs. Change chemicals onto lounge, again excellent results although very tiring. Big lounge with a few marks, not the machine issue. Refilled and it wouldnt pump . Called the Helpline and resolved in 3 mins. Thank you Brexit and thank you Coles

The service and machine was perfect look forward to next time. Definitely recommend it. The ease of hiring the machine made everything run smooth. Anyone can use it. Just follow the instructions.

I hired a britex hundreds of times. I have asthmatic children so need to keep my carpets clean. Then one day my hubby joking said you have hired these machines enough times to have bought one. So thats what we did we bought our own and it is the best thing we ever did love it love it love it.

I’ve been using Britex machines for years and have always been happy with results. I seem to have more success with getting our marks than the professional cleaners. I suspect because I know where every mark is. Ideally you need two people - one to operate the machines while the other backs up with vacuuming, stain removal and moving furniture. Provided you have the energy, it’s the only way to go. The return process was a pain though. No one in Bunnings seemed to know what they were doing. Sent to four different places / people and took over 20 mins. It used to be simple when Woolworths were the agents!

Hi I see there was a review from a customer from Bunnings that the wand did not suck up the water the problem is in side the wand it is clog full off hair and muck this needs to be cleaned out with garden hose then pull hair and muck out off wand end have had this problem every time I hire the machine. told Bunnings but did not care what I had to say. I now own my own britex machine and very happy with results the wand needs too be flushed out after every use this machine is very good just keep it clear so it can work.

All I can say is thank you Britex. my carpets are like new again and smell awesome so clean. I have two kids a 3yo. & a 2yo. Plus Two Maltese shih Suze. So I’ll be definitely hiring you again. Highly recommend.

I hired one of these from my local Bunnings. Worst idea!!! Total waste of money!!! I ended up with soapy water all over my floors and wand didn't suck up any of it so had to use old towels and clean it all up by hand. If this product is meant to make cleaning easier it has totally failed. When I complained to britex customer service i was told i wasn't holding the wand correctly. I tried numerous different grips and angles but these did not help - this wand did not vacuum up ANY water. Either you need some sort of special qualification and training to be able to operate this product correctly or it is really badly designed and doesn't do what it claims. This product does not make cleaning any easier. Don't waste your money or time!!

My House looks so clean & fresh after using Britex vacuum cleaner & the Britex carpet cleaner. Britex vacuum cleaner did the hard work, sucked the dirt, removed the stain and leave me in a clean home.

I have used the Britex Carpet cleaner many times in the past.. and have been ecstatic with the final result.. And the rental company I deal with are pleased aswell.. Highly Reccomend the product.. and would like to be able to buy one for myself one day.. Very Pleased Indeed

I hired the machine from Bunnings and bought the Britex Tile cleaning fluid. The machine left so much water on my floor that I slipped over on my floor. My floor has a terrible film all over it now. I will need to mop it for days to get rid of this. Like other comments I was exhausted trying to use this machine. Waste of money.

Carpet came up beautifully after sometime of neglect, and i am very happy with the result. The grout and tile component though is a complete waste of time and money. It is big, cumbersome and gives very unsatisfactory results, cleaning by hand is less timr consuming with better results. As a consequence I will recommend the carpet cleaner but not the tile and grout cleaner as this in my opinion needs serious refinement to make it work effectively.

This carpet cleaner works great and is not expensive easy purchase from bunnings I have 2 kids and cleaned up the food stains really nicely highly recommend your products even if you think you need new carpet

I had hired a BRITEX for the first time, recommended from a mate.
I had used it on my rug and it didn’t come up as clean as I expected, so I went over it 2x more and itcame up cleaner but not as clean as I expected.
The white spots on my rug are still a grey looking colour.
I was hoping they would be white again, never mind

Ok I read all these review prior to hiring from bunnings for 24 hours, but needed to clean my couch so I was hesitant but got it for $38... wow wow wow sooo good! So easy, it was loud so I put some ear plugs in, but great! Would definitely get it again! It cleaned my couch back to brand new!
