Great price point and technology
For a "budget" telco circles.life provides an excellent value proposition with generous allowances, on a reliable network and a seamless / digital transfer process and sim activation. Highly satisfied with the transfer process and the 4G speeds are comparable to a full service Optus account. No complaints from me.

Uses the Optus 3G network.
Have recently noticed the mobile data on my phone has slowed right down. Did a check (again) and figures out the mobile data loads on to the OPTUS LTE network. Pretty sure LTE network is 2G? Will be moving to Belong.

That would be a NO from me.
Signed up on their $18 for 20gb Plan only to be advised I didn’t and they started to charge me $28 - had the unfortunate experience of liaising with one of their “happiness experts” who said he’d raise a ticket and email me personally in 1 business day only to wait 5 business days, have to follow them up myself and then be told very rudely that the code doesn’t apply to me for some unknown reason and I wasn’t eligible.
Also don’t expect to be able to log into a customer portal from their website you need to download their app, so if like me y...Read more
ou pay and manage your elderly mothers sim on her behalf, you’ll need to log in with one mobile number then delete the app, redownload it and log in again to pay bills or manage accounts. Very frustrating, very unfriendly staff and operating systems. I’d come to this company from another mvno who used the Optus network and somehow my reception is worse (as per one of the other reviews below - I’m in the Melbourne CBD) will be porting away ASAP.Similar opinion? Terrible Company and poor network signal
Porting in my number took 2 days, that was just beginning of bad things to come, Melbourne CBD, no good reception, imagine what it will be like in other places. Joined in December $28 for 100G, only manage to use 10GB Max in two months, due to poor or no internet service. Leaving took 5day to port out my number to a new provider, i almost reported to Ombudsman before the allowed me leave. Circle.life dont have full access to Optus network, you only get 3G network. Please don't border joining, its not worth the stress and above all, no customer support when you are having issues

Most disgusting telco provider in Australia
The most disgusting, feral and putrid telecommunications provider to ever set foot in Australia. Absolutely vile to deal with with only chat and voicemail as means of communication and literally having to beg for a call back which has still not happened more than 24 hours later. You are not missing out on anything. Save yourself the headache and go with a different provider.

Happy so far
I’ve only been with Circles for a month but so far I’m very happy. I like their missed call service. One problem though, and there may be a solution, I previously had a detailed message for callers about my Jazzercise classes and now I just have the standard “the person you are calling is unavailable ...” message. Not good for business. Other than that I’ve had no problems and in enjoying the fact I no longer exceed my data limits.

Love it
Great service data speeds are fast and no experience of it dropping out as yet. Coverage is so far the best I've experienced out of the major companies I definitely recommend

Customer Happiness Experts NOT
Since signing up (31 Dec 2022) we've been unable to retrieve voice messages (haven't been able to send MMS either). Took weeks to get them to log a fault with Optus .... in the meantime they (Optus & Circles Australia) recommended altering the bios of the phone.
Upon calling Samsung they recommend not changing the bios.
Called Optus help desk, & they said to call Circles .. 'nothing to do with them'.
Very strangely, 2 days after the Optus request, only a few days ago mind you, the problem has vanished.
Note, unlike our prior MVNO*, Virgin ...Read more

Billing is horrible!!! Roaming must select operator as automatic selection doesn't work
Got a -$10 discount. First bill, the discount wasn't added. Contacted customer service who told me the discount will be credited on the next bill. The next bill, the discount wasn't credited. Contacted customer service again and told me the problem is because I have auto-debit turned on. Then they promised it will be fixed in the next bill. Will see... but will not hold my breath.
The roaming doesn't work. First, it was turned off (even though I've 100% turned it on a few days prior to my departure). Once it is turn on, it still doesn't work. ...Read more
Finally, the reason is because I need to select the provider manually. This is extremely annoying as it doesn't happen with optus, vaya nor amaysim (ie. automatic provider selection works). Also, every now and then, the call will drop off by itself. I gave 2 stars because they have good customer service.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Managed to get the $18 deal with 20GB. Customer service 'while' porting could be addressed.
Seems comparable to Optus, whom I was with just prior. Speed test done in the outer east of Melbourne in the Dandenong Ranges. Considering the price I'm more than happy.

No more worries!
I'm so pleased not to have to worry about minutes and data especially for less money than I was paying. Even when it goes back to the right price, next year, I'll still be smiling. Coverage is great

No problem with it, very efficient and helpful with problems
Network coverage is good in most places, areas that don’t have overall good coverage aren’t as positive but to be expected. No drop outs yet, data speed is good and calls are pretty good

Cheapest telco on the market with no compromises
I'm a student, and unlimited calls and texts and 20GB of data for $18 a month is perfect for me. I was originally with Optus and have had no drop in reception quality or download speeds since moving across- if anything, reception has been slightly more reliable and strong. (I live, work and study in inner city Melbourne and am using an Oppo Reno Z).
Very easy to sign up and port across from old Optus. While customer service has been good via the chat, it would be nice to have some sort of telephone call option to explain more difficult situations. Also, I receive far too many emails and notifications regarding referral competitions.
Overall, highly recommended

Competitive deal, good signal strength
Paying $18 per month for 20 GB is a very competitive deal considering the market. The signal strength is always quite good in my area and I have never experienced any dropout at the moment.
Never been in touch with the customer service, so no opinion on that!

So far so good
Replaced my laptop and NBN with an IPad and Circles Life plan as I am away a lot. Best thing I could have done. Coverage and speed is better than my NBN and a third of the cost. My 20gb plan is more than adequate for my moderate usage. Queries have been answered in an acceptable manner and time. So far very satisfied.

I am not happy with it
I am not happy with this internet provider. Complicated way to communicate with them and you have to repeat something 1000 times and finally, they can not fix it. Not recommended

Excellent experience
The Arrival of the new SIM card was fast. I transferred my number from Optus online 2 days ago in a very easy way. The activation was fast, it toke 4 hours only to transfer from Optus . performance has been exactly the same as optus since switching

FAR FROM PERFECT
My network coverage is still constantly unreliable. I have constant frequent DROPOUTS often early evening and mornings before 9 am, so can only say your service is not recomendable to anyone & I only rate you two & half stars at best. Also after my complaints to you little compensate has been offered, nor proper follow up . Sorry not good enough !

How do I set up voicemail please?

Major problems with this non VM service, especially if you rely on hospital & specialist/ government services.
A. private #'s (cannot see who has called)
B. gov. services, as a general rule, will not leave a voice message if they can't identify who you are on the # they have called. (epic fail)
You have been warned.
Thank you pianotech. Yes! I had not realised it was a non-voicemail service. This does make things a bit awkward as I do like to screen calls and not everyone leaves tex messages...

There is NO voicemail - just a missed call service
Paper cups, string and sticky notes......
There is no Vm. If someone calls you get a text, they can leave a voicemail and it is sent to you as an mms. You cannot turn this off, nor change the greeting.
Don’t do it.
Thanks Guys
