Terrible Product

We had this model installed as a replacement for the old unit 18 months ago.
It makes a loud humming noise and causes the windows to rattle if turned up high.
Coolair came out and said the motor was the problem which was replaced.
This has made no difference,it seems the CPQ700 is not a very good product.. .

Quite and so cheap to run love it

Had to replace old evaporative unit as the turbine broke and too expensive to replace part. This unit is quieter than previous model. More efficient with electicity usage and with it running all day during these hot days our daily electicity cost is $3 less on average than with the previous unit. It produces a clean, cooling breeze throughtout our 3 bedroom home. So, so very quiet. Very happy so far.

We need to replace an old Brivis ducted evaporative air cooler and have been quoted for the Coolair CPQ 1100 (no reviews) or the Breezair Supercool EXS220 (varied reviews) . Does anyone have an up to date review on either of these products? Thanks

We have had our cool air evaporative nearly a year, we have noticed that after being on for some time, the motor starts to rev, this is on auto or manual, at one point it switched off. is this normal.

Mine loses water all day about a bucket per half hour. Is it supposed to do this or dump water every 4 hours or so? I'm a renter just moved in. Thanks

Hello Rebecca
If you have the manual, this is discussed on page 8 right hand side under Drain Valve. Else you can find the manual here if there isn't one at the property https://www.seeleyinternational.com/artefact/coolair-evaporative-cooler-manual/. Answer is, depends on how the installer has set up the unit. If you have concerns, please raise it with the owner to have it checked out, but if there is low water quality in your area it may have been setup this way for a reason. As you can see from the manual, there are a number of environmental considerations that stop us from giving you a definitive answer, so best that the owner confirms with the installer. If the owner needs technical support we have an agent network available through 1300 650 644. Thanks ~ Craig
