Awesome experience with both the office and our Project Manager. We are based in New Zealand and we got regular updates with lots of photos. Great build, really happy with the quality, so much so we are about to start our second home with Coral!

The carpet is the ‘in the loop’ range from Carpet court... it’s basic but durable. We don’t mind it. For tiles it’s the silver range of Beaumont tiles... but only certain sizes. Go into Beaumont and they’ll tell you what’s included.

We weren’t able to lodge with CDC, but they tried that first...
What council? Seems to depend on council you’re dealing with.

Different floor levels to wet areas from main floor - we are nearly finished our build and have discovered that the there is a substantial step up from the main floor tiles to the bathroom and powder room etc which will pose a trip hazard and we are not happy with this. We questioned this with Coral and were told "this is the standard and level floors are an upgrade", has anyone else recently built with Coral and have level floors as a standard inclusion ??? Their own display home sales consultant very recently told us that this was a change to process way after we signed.
Thanks in advance.

I have a Coral home. Very happy with all transaction and fitting. Economics and timeframes were to the dot. "However" I have now discovered three water leaks within the roof cavity. The key indicator was ceiling sagging about 1cm with the plasterboard sagging below the retainer fixtures (leaving a visible round void). Upon inspection, I have found three points of rain ingress, visible by minor spoil indicators under the insulation. We have just had mega rain events that have accentuates the above. My query revolves around what warranty is offered against this. Concrete roof tiles on 2010 constructed house. Appreciate any assistance. Randall

Hi we are building a new house with Coral Home in Spring Mountain.
I have a question……
1. Standard inclusions are fixtures and features that are included in the price of your new home. Do I need to pay the conncetion of "water, sewerage and stormwater" for the site works?
I have reviewed the Designer Standard Inclusions lists in your brochures and on Coral Homes website.
It indicated that the "Connection of water, sewerage, stormwater and electrical connection allowance based on 600 Square metre" included in included in the basic price of the Coral Homes.

I am building a home with coralhomes on a 3000 square meter block in an estate and vacant land around me.
I want to erect a shed in the back corner of the block but coral won't let me due to whs requirements
They have the whole house site fenced off but still won't allow me access from the adjoining block to erect the shed even though the shed slab is down already
Has anyone came across this on a large building block where they have stopped you access to do this or something similar?

Yes. This is standard practice for most builders. I am currently building with Eden Brae and wanted to build a shed first but cannot be done either. It’s unfortunate especially when you have quite a large block.
