depending on how many flashes the light does will determine the fault- they are listed in the manual
1 flash is water not on.
2 flash is unit not draining
3 flash is the anti flood device activated (you have a leak in the bottom of unit.
If it flashes 4 times i have found the air pressure switch to be the problem(it will have debris stuck in it)

Dont know has it been plumbed in properly is your drain hose twisted that would be the first thing to check

Has there been a dishwasher attached to the pipes before???? You might need to actually put a hole into the PVC pipe that you attached the hose of the dishwasher to under the sink, as the holes are NOT pre-drilled. So therefore the dishwasher can't drain. It's a trick that I learnt 30 years ago when we shifted into a new house. Good luck. V

Maybe check your main drain is not blocked or clogged up, but I would call a repairer if there is nothing obvious.

Side panels at the lower left and right corners where the hinges are will most likely need bending outwards to allow free movement of hinges. Common problem with this model, they were built with weak sides.

I have mine set on either 2 or 3, 3 seems to dry the dishes good without opening the door at the end of a cycle. I use Aldi rinse aid and if I put the setting 4 my unit spills out water and foam.

2 and 3 works best for me, Aldi rinse aid. When I boosted to no 4 it spilt foam and water out onto the floor. 3 works best for me and dishes are dry without opening the door after a cycle on pot and pan setting.

Can you explain to me how the reset and half wash buttons on the Dsf6106w work? I can't get them to function as they are supposed to ?? Also if I had the outlet hose hooked up on the back of the machine as when delivered prior to going to the kitchen sink outlet would this cause a problem?
