When the fitter turned up he was polite and provide a quick update on the process, he went about work in a quick and timely manner and before we know it it was completed with the area cleaned up and cheerful farewell. thank you

Lack of professionalism

Still waiting for a response to my survey.
Poor workmanship, employed someone else to refit door and took 4 mouths to fit the fly screen. Took advantage of bad times (Bushfires) Poor outcome, would not use again. Lack of follow up. As I can’t upload a photo my invoice no is: DPAU53729

Dealt with Granville store and found them to be very helpful and reliable. Installation was reliable and done to a professional level. Quality of door was very good. Easy to deal with. Do need to wait some time for door to be made but was advised of this at time of purchase

They took over 3 months to install a door which I paid in full up front. Did not answer my calls or reply back to my emails to let me know what was happening. Not happy!

Staff at Granville store were friendly, helpful and knew their products. They came and measured up the job the same day. The carpenter who installed the door was punctual, tidy and took away old door. The door works well and looks good. Thanks to Matt, Peter and the girls on the phone.

A really nice door.

Initially advised 6 to 8 weeks to obtain and install, but it was a rather special solid timber type with an integral full length security screen with hinged window, so found to be not in stock in country, and had to be ordered from China, but then needed the magnetic seal replaced before onsite delivery and installation - so overall took 3 months. Rather surprised at the cost for the timber beading around the doorway frame. The 2 installers were on time and very competent, and completed in around 50 minutes. Looks great, very happy with it.

Terrible customer service

Doors took significantly longer to arrive than advised on ordering. No follow up - I had to call repeatedly to check in our order and several times nobody called back. Avoid.

We’ve had three doors done by Doors Plus now. Tricky measurements for our doorways - older buildings. Store customer service people at Granville were very helpful. Good range of options for our basic security screen door needs. Price was right. Upfront about delivery and installation times/dates and procedures. Installers were excellent and knowledgeable. Doors fit, feel sturdy, look great.

Bought 2 entry doors painted plus mushroom stop and entrance hardware. Doors came painted stop only undercoat !!! Both doors were bowed at least 6 mm unfortunately didn't notice till I put hinges on one. No timber inside the doors for furniture instead filled with what looks like green cardboard. In general the worst set of doors I have ever had to hang. If it wasn't for covid 19 the would have got them back. Hours of additional work because of these shoddy made doors.

Thanks to Wayne and Sal for helping us find an internal sliding barn door with an inset mirror in a non-standard size. They gave a competitive quote, helpful service and quick access to the door. Would definitely recommend goving them a call to discuss what you're looking for.

Timber french doors

The installation of our new timber french doors proceeded smoothly. The carpenter Adam did an excellent job.
The only hiccup was in regard to installation dates. We had been informed of a date for installation and then received a second call to arrange a date. There was no record of the first date.

New stacker door with security screen installed yesterday. Chev from Brookvale was great and Tony did a fabulous job installing. He was very helpful and left everything cleaner than when he arrived! We are very happy! Would highly recommend Doors Plus.

Beware COVID-19 demands for increased payments

Receipt says $250 "Final balance on completion" and they are now refusing to install on the agreed date unless payment is received in full. "Directions from head office" which they refuse to share. Have tried to contact head office (as the guys in Footscray said I needed to (only a generic email address was provided)) with no luck. They claim they have tired to contact head office too. This is after waiting 12 weeks (not the indicated 8-10 weeks) and having installation postponed once already ostensibly because they were "closing the warehouse for two days". "No fuss"? Absolute rubbish. Do a search for Lanmero Pty Ltd and see it has been closed. No confidence in the outfit whatsoever.

I am about to install a Guardian 2 in 1 front door and keen to remove the glass to make it lighter while installing. Is it merely a case of removing the Allan key bolts or and removing the glass or a more complicated process?

What does the customer care team do and what is the process when a customer has a complaint?

They ask that everything is paid upfront before any work is done. Once it’s done they don’t care that’s their customer care. We started our order in November last year and only yesterday was the last item installed. I don’t think there is a complaint department as I could not find one. The worse thing is the installer that put a hole in our freshly painted ceiling, I was home and he never said a word and even tried to patch it ? We had to get it repainted and I believe the painter still hasn’t received his money. They came and saw it and took responsibility but that was it.
