Seems to have lots of faults
I bought it as a quick option for the kitchen,
Pros, easy to use, lights on the bottom and can reach under beds and tables easily.
It worked fine for the first month, then the buttons started to stop working, you would have to push the power on button 8 times for it to work. I found sometimes it would just push crumbs around rather than vacuum them up. Currently this unit is at an electrical repair shop. I am a bit concerned there seems to be constant problems with these units as when I took it back to the shop the first thing they said was "another electrolux" and when we then were referred to the designated electrical repair shop, he said he had taken dozens to the tip that couldn't be fixed and he already had 3 that he was "fixing".

Works well, easy to use,
Purchased the Electrolux 2 in 1 approx. six months ago and so far so good. Picks up small pieces of rubbish quite well on a tiled floor but requires a bit more work on a carpet floor. I usually get approx. 20 minutes worth of use before the battery runs flat ( not sure of this is normal). The cartridge that collects the rubbish is easy to remove and clean and I would recommend the cartridge increase in size. Suction levels appear to reduce in portion to the level of rubbish collected in the cartridge. Overall a good little unit for a quite clea...Read more
n or for picking up small pieces of rubbish on the floor. Note: As at 03/2016 the battery is almost completely dead. Only got about 12 months use of the unit. Not sure if you can buy a replacement battery or what the cost is or do I throw the whole unit away. Would have been nice if the battery lasted more than 12 months. Changed my rating down from 4 stars to 3 because of the short battery life.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love love love. happy customer here!
I love this vacuum. Easy to use, light to push around. Battery life could be longer but still great compared to other brands Iv used. I don't have another vacuum so I use it hard floors and carpers and it does the job just fine! Everything was perfect functioning until about 18 months. But mine gets A LOT of use. I use it twice a day cleaning up after my two kids. I thought the battery wasn't lasting but wear and tear the battery just wasn't getting contact with the charger. And then the same time the motor began making a burning smell. So took it back into Harvey Norman and they sent me a brand new one!! No dramas at all. Was super stoked. If anything happened to this one will definitely be getting another.

Love it.
Have only had this model a couple of weeks and am very happy with it. It picks up dirt from both timber flooring and rugs very easily. Have owned an ergopido with lower voltage and a non swivel head before which I loved but this model is even better. Much easier to use.

we had a similar problem with the electrolux not holding charge
we purchased a ergo rapido for my place of work and it lost charge and power after two months, the vac was sent to Julians appliance centre in Geelong and they not only fixed the problem they gave us reliable advice for it not to happen again. The battery was changed and we were told once the cleaner is charged not to leave the machine charging and to make sure we had depleted the vac of power before recharging we have had no problems since and its a fantastic tool we all love it. the vacuum is used on all surfaces and works a treat to came with attachments so there was no need to get anything else

Electrolux should be investigated by ACCC
We have had the same problem. We bought a machine in January it charged fine for the first few times, we went to use the hand held for the car yesterday and no charge. We put it back on the charger but it just does nothing. Now I have to waste my time taking it back to the shop. Should have stuck to a Dyson like our main vacuum. With so many complaints electrolux should do something rather than just keep selling rubbish products.

Great so far!
I was a bit worried after seeing some negative reviews of this 2 in 1 vacuum. We've only had ours for a month but so far we are very happy with it!
Having pets and a toddler, it is very convenient to go over the floors between big vacuums. I wouldnt rely on it for a huge house, however for a room or 2 it is extremely useful.
It has a good suck and the battery life is quite long (we havent yet tested how long it will last, but have vacuumed for a good 20 minutes straight and it was still running fine).
We recommended this to an elderly fa...Read more
mily member to use as it is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. She also loves it, for its ease of use and not having to plug it in to use, nor constantly change powerpoints as you move from room to room. Highly recommend!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Absolutely useless. Don't waste your money
Suction is mediocre. The mechanism to return the vacuum to the charger is clunky and cumbersome. The battery life is worse than average and it's overall performance...well, let's just say that I gave up and went back to using a dustpan and brush. I was very disappointed with this appliance and everyone I know that has had one has (like me), ditched it, researched my thoroughly and bought a stick dyson (which is phenomenal!).

Good choice
After researching the pros and cons of the Dyson vs Electrolux stick vacuum models, we ventured to the Good Guys to check them both out. We were initially leaning towards the Dyson I guess due to the brand name. We mainly needed it to do the quick daily clean-up after our two toddlers were finished throwing their food and crumbs all over the on the floor, so picking up animal hair isn't our biggest need. But by doing a simple test of both units on hard floors and rugs in the shop, the Electrolux out-performed the Dyson on both occassions. Th...Read more
e Dyson seemed to push the crumbs into a pile, then you had to lift up the head unit and place it directly over the pile to suck it up,. The Electrolux just picked them staright away, on hard floors or rugs. Plus the fact the run time for the battery is far longer on the Electorlux - 37mins compared to 6mins for the Dyson. It's a personal choice but the Electrolux was the better option for us, and after a few days of use we love it. Plus we saved over $100 on the price of the oldest Dyson model (DC35). it's light and very manouevreable. Run time is great and it sucks up food crumbs and lint from rugs and hard floors alike Nothing (yet). if anything maybe the dust canister is slightly harder to empty than some other models, but I'm being picky there.Similar opinion? There Must Be More To This!!!!
I bought my Ergorapido ZB3012 on the 26th May, 2014 5 days ago, after following the instruction book on assembly (easy) and charging the battery overnight I used the machine to vacuum my very small unit. After vacuuming two very small rooms the battery ran out of power, I recharged the battery for another 12 hours or so then tried again to clean another room same thing happened again. I thought that I would get more battery time than this.. I don't think it is at all energy efficient.
I liked the headlights and the lightness and practically of the machine
does not hold charge and is noisy

oops, wrong reply...check above!! I tightened the large Phillips head screw on the back and found that my power increased with that action.

We have the ergorapido and loved it until it started shutting off after 3-4 seconds and won't start running. Have to keep pushing the button to restart. Very frustrating, what can be done? Thank you. Jim H

Hi, this product has stopped working. When I first purchased it, I had to take it to a service centre who replaced the whole unit it with a new one. That was about a year ago and now the unit has stopped working. I am very careful to clean the brush, empty and clean filters, etc.
When turning on the unit it immediately stops with the red light showing.
Can you please give me some advice?
I purchased the the machine on 11 March 2014 from Myer, Brookvale.
Thank you,

That's happened to me if I accidentally suck up clothing or something. It switches off. And I just pull out what ever it was and it's perfectly fine again. Have you checked you haven't sucked up any ribbon or something by accident?

So after 2 months and it not being fixed, they offered me a brand new one, which I declined and got a store credit .
