ut all plans through council quickly. During the construction phase, our supervisor Greg was excellent. He was extremely thorough and left no stone unturned. Greg would always keep us updated with honest answers in regards to construction, which we appreciated. Post construction the quality of the build was fantastic. The details of the home were excellent. I myself previously being a building inspector have seen a lot of dodgy workmanship, however I can assure you Fairmont pride themselves on quality. If you want a quality home which will last a lifetime, I can guarantee you Fairmont are the builders to see. Glad I built with Fairmont Homes
When selecting a builder it’s a challenging and scary decision but I am glad I trusted Fairmont Homes.
I was consistently kept up to date from the whole team who all knew how my house was progressing.
Pre-construction, the girls in the office answered all of my questions and even made suggestions to make the design better that I wouldn't of though of. During construction my Site Supervisor and Construction Manager made sure I was happy and made sure every Friday that I had an update. When you can't get to site every week to check on your build it really puts your mind at ease.
Overall it was a great experience! I’d highly recommend Fairmont to my friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to build with them again in the future.

Poor housing material and poor workmanship!
I would give the builder a ZERO as we been dealing with the ceilings in my home being cracked and caved it from the storm on 9th feb 20. Out of 5 of the 6 houses built by Fairmont homes (on the same block Byrock Pl, Hinchinbrook) had the same problem with the storm on that Sunday, and we been contacting both [name removed] and [name removed] (the directors of Fairmont homes) avoiding the reply to our problems. use from a turnkey home & land package. All the houses built on this block of land was bought brand new as well. Early on 2016, I experienced a problem with the rangehood where they did not build the ventilation outside of the property and the main door was being dragged onto the tiles as we use it. It took over 4 weeks for them to send someone out to fix the 2 problems. Now the directors are saying that they have the fair trading on their side and that the building warranty is for 24 months when it is built, but we have a major structural defect that covers for up to 6 years. They have been sending out letters and emails backing themselves up using statistics that the weather affected the damaged ceilings, instead of owning up that they are using poor building materials and poor construction work. [name removed] did told us that he would get someone to patch the damaged ceiling 2 weeks ago and he never did by avoiding the phone calls. Many of the neighbours that we know had experienced this same issues where the builders are avoiding to help us and rectifying this problem since 9/2/20. We now have to folk our own money to get a tradie to fix the damaged ceiling asap. My neighbours and I are going to seek justice from this dodgey builder.

Quality and Design
This is our first house with Fairmont Homes NSW, when we saw the display house Sovereign Grande 45 we loved it and we made that this is our dream house. We straightaway decided to build with FMH.
The design was superb and the quality of material used was amazing.

Great experience!
This is the second house we've had build through Fairmont Homes NSW and we're very pleased once again.
There were no hidden costs, everything was very transparent, and the communication from our supervisors (we had 2 due to a change half way through the build) was frequent and comforting. The quality of the final product was exceptional as expected.

Very happy with the finished product
Smooth process from the beginning to end with most importantly no hidden costs. What was in the contract was what I paid. The sales team and importantly the construction manager made sure the process was relatively stress free and had a very good eye for detail ensuring that the house was finished like the display home. Impressive.

Putting the FAMILY in Family Business
We chose to build with Fairmont Homes NSW largely based on the knowledge they were a family owned and operated business. This was our second time building, our first time being with a large well known builder.

This ensured our initial estimate on the build was a far more realistic cost, leaving little room for surprises later when we added variations along the way. Through the process of having our plans drawn and perfected, we worked closely with Daniel and Jackie, both of whom were a pleasure to work with. Despite being Fairmont’s General Manager, Daniel was always happy to take a call from us and help us through the process. Jackie was our source of sanity and my go to person with any questions, concerns or last minute changes, from beginning to end. Putting the ‘Family’ into the Family Business!!
This was our second build. Our first build was with a large well known company, so this time we made a conscious decision to build with a smaller, family owned and operated business. This turned out to be a fabulous decision!

Despite building being a very stressful time, we felt confident we were in great hands. During construction our site manager was always happy to let us see the progress and even kept our children interested and excited with the process, our kids talk about James like an old mate! The family that own and run the company are all very hands on and accessible, meaning we dealt with the decision makers at every point of the build, this cut out the endless calls looking for the right person to ask with enquries. Wonderful experience
From the first moment we started talking with Fairmont about building our new home I knew the experience would be unforgettable. The entire team were extremely professional and made it effortless. They were upfront with costs and never at any stage under delivered. The end result was just what we wanted and more. We were very happy with the final cost and came within our budget. Well, where do we start?
After dealing with a number of major builders at the Oran Park display village, with great disappointment and deceptive tactics.
We decided to approach a local builder, being Daniel at Fairmont Homes NSW.
What a breath of fresh air!
Daniel, sets the bar high, we have to say, with exceptional customer service.
Absolutely, nothing was a bother. Everything was clear and straightforward. We made numerous adjustments on the basic plan, to the extend it became a custom design. Best in the business
We couldn't be happier with our Fairmont Home. In fact this is the second house we have built with them in 5 years. The team give you personal service which is hard to find in a company the size of theirs. Everything went to budget and there were no hidden costs or extras throughout the build. Fairmont make building a house enjoyable and I would recommend them to anyone from a first home buyer right through to a high end home.

Couldn’t have asked for a better Builder, from display home sales member Dean, who was amazing to the fantastic office staff Jackie, Lauren & Sharon.
My build was a bit slow for a few months until a new SS took over and took control. James was very approachable and nothing was ever any trouble. I was kept up to date each step of the way. Best Quality Builder we ever used!
The workmanship and build of our home was of a high caliber. Even though we have never heard of the Fairmont name until we visited their display home in Gregory Hills, we were captivated by the build quality and design of the display home. I would suggest to anyone to compare the build quality of other known name big builders against Fairmont and I assure you, Fairmont's quality will come out on top.

the build you want. We had little custom nitpicks with our build and they entertained everyone of them with a smile. They even assisted us to get the cheapest way of how to get a certain build we want. (What other builder would do that for you?) They are there to make building painless, within budget and still get the quality build you would expect. The actual home they built for us exceeded our expectations in build quality and this was our second house build. I've recommended them to everyone since then, didn't take long until my sister used them for her house build as well. If you are easily swayed by big name builders and their $1 extra's, I would look else where as the savings and service Fairmont provides are honest, real and with no hidden agendas. They are there for you every step of your build! I will definitely be using them again on my next build and I wouldn't dare go with anyone else!1 comment

I also want to know if anyone has built with Fairmont NSW. Every other builder has reviews whether they are good or bad except for Fairmont NSW who don't have any reviews!! Something seems suss to me.
Yes, I agree. We did not end up going with them as they quoted us a price then asked for $500 for an itemised tender. We paid them and after waiting 3 months, we received an email with 2 pages of absolutely non professional tendre and the price is higher $400,000 than the original quote they told us.
After that we have tried for over a month to communicate with them and requested what are the inclusions and why the price went up 400k. Long story short, between sales office and head office, we did not receive an answeres and they were very rude to us. In the end we gave up and didn't want to deal with such a builder!
If they can not provide a proper tendre and good communication, they can't deliver a home in a profficinal way.

I have experience with Adelaide only, major reviews are also shared by South Australian customers with very low response from people as such. It will be great to know how they are doing in other states. As per Adelaide is concern and till selection stage, i can surely say that Fairmonthomes has no concept of customer service. Their staff is enjoying strong brand performance, so they are not putting any service aspect into their product. They have not online platform to connect to customer and have no direct contact in office too to speak about the customer concern. Their selection center in Adelaide are also not very engaging to develop a product over the edge. They are trying to stick to standard product in order to keep price in start mark. If you are looking for a house with difference than Fairmonthomes is not the right choice. Still if you want to choice them like us due to good quality end product than you have to be very engaged and research allot. It is also understood since they are project builder at last. As per construction is concerned it all depends on your site supervisor and his skills and time he has. This is same for most of the builders.
If customer service and personnel touch is concerned in project builder than i will recommend HickinBotham, although i am not sure about the end product. They are quite friendly and connected to customer in office and website too. Metricon too seems engaged in web but they don't do custom build. I had discussed my custom plan with Metricon sales man but he never came back with pricing or feedback that they can do it or not.
