Worst courier in Australia! Shame you can't give zero stars!
I don't think I've ever had a delivery from Fastway turn up on time. I cringe any time I buy something online and get a Fastway tracking number, cos I know it's going be lost, late or a hassle to chase up. You know your delivery is going to spend days at "a sortation facility" - often times longer than the entire advertised delivery time. Case in point, my latest purchase was advertised as 3 - 5 days delivery. It's now been "currently being processed at a sortation facility..." in Sydney for 5 days. Sydney to Brisbane - 2 major cities and it takes more than 5 days! And as is always that way, the seller apologises and says, it's out of their hands and to take it up with the courier.
How are these guys still in business?!?!?

Garbage transport company
Absolute rubbish service they lost my parcel and can't find it it's running 3 weeks late and counting Sydney is only a 900 kilometre drive down to Melbourne just crap heap service

fastway what a joke
parcel was sent from Sydney but still sitting at Sydney fastway a week later !!! no wonder they changed their name, absolute joke, will never use them again.

Tracking and delivery not so good
Sent a present to my daughter for her birthday 8 days before.They said nobody was home and they left a card.somebody was home and no card could be found anywhere. Driver couldn't be bothered walking up steep drive way or putting card on mail box .lied about it.Had to go through so much to get the parcel. Next time I see a seller using fastway I will avoid them.

Slowway
I bought an item from NSW and was coming via fast way.
3 days later I bought another item from NSW and was being shipped by Aust Post, Aust Post item arrived 4-5 days earlier than fast way
Fastway is slower than Aust post, now that does not surprise me, they need to change their name

Utterly unreliable
I had several poor experiences with Fastway/ called aramex now. Few of my post were never delivered or found in Sydney Suburb. On papers they have delivered all to my door, however my family had always been around to collect. Fact is no one attempted to deliver. There is no point talking to their customer service, because there is hardly any. Their delivery drivers I guess just lie. Completely un-expectable.

Theft of parcel
I’m the receiver of a parcel fastway has delayed in sending me 5 months and on going. Customs are now holding onto our parcel with extra fees added ontop. Fastway wont give me the details for me to speak with customs to make an arrangement. Never to see this parcel again…

Total disrespect for packages
Fastway drivers do not read delivery instructions, drop my package over the gate where it can still be seen from the street and easily stolen and leave it in the rain. Our package was clearly marked with delivery instructions, gate code and where to leave the package. The driver paid absolutely not attention, dropped it over the gate, marked it as delivered and left it to get wet.

Fastway........................The slowest way to go!!!
I've had plenty of orders that, unfortunately, have been sent through Fastway. The tracking is never accurate and, if you phone them, they never want to give you a straight answer. I've even been told that an item has been lost so they don't have to tell me where the item is and then it arrives (late). Never use this service. You will lose customers!!!

Fastway is snail fastway
I have purchased quite a lot of things and anything that comes via Fastway sits at the original drop off point for weeks. Large or small makes no difference. I am advising sellers not to use Fastway.

This is 3.5 business days, your "1 day " claim seems misleading to me.
You should do the fair thing and report your actual times, expected and worse case. Then people can plan around your limitations, not your "predictions"
I think I'm one of the lucky ones who got their parcel delivered at all.
UPDATE AUG 2022.. So much for awaiting mediation. Have not heard from them in 4 years.

I hope you never have to use their service
I had the worst experience with fastways. I was told my package was delivered when it wasn't. So I tried following up. The pictures they sent of my building entrance wasn't even from my building. I emailed and messaged them and even called and each time I was told the same exact thing that my package was delivered and send the picture again. It's like no one is actually reading or understanding me. In every communication I told them it's not my building but after their initial email they close the case and don't respond to replies.
I can't emphasise how bad their customer service is. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Avoid
We run a buisness and was using Fastways for 12 months. Clients consistently complained that it would take 14+ days to receive parcels. Fastways poor service nearly ruined us. Late, missing parcels. We returned to AU post and have no issues now. Fastways really needs a shakeup at top level, they are completely short staffed (I wonder why?)

Thieves, scam artists and should be shut down.
They have lost two parcels in a row. It was the same product but from a different vender. In total I have been waiting 8 weeks for some sanding paper for my sander. They also lie on their tracking and say they have delivered when they haven't, saying I need to bring their calling card to their delivery centre. I have received no calling card. Furthermore the absolute nerve of this disgusting company to inform customers to pick up their parcel at a calling centre 20km from their home! I am reporting this company to the ACCC for fraud. They need to be shut down immediately.

What did Aramex bring to the merger/assimilation with FastWay?
Seems like it was just the name change and repainting the vans.
It should only have been assimilated by a courier company with up-to-date tracking notifications between driver and depot and website and customer, as the minimum for adding value.
Delivering stuff (using some commonsense) is also required.
I FOUND OUT WHAT THIS REALLY MEANS.
"Consignment is being processed;Your parcel is currently being processed at a sortation facility. We’ll notify you with another update when it’s ready to be delivered"
Aramex FastWay are using a third party to do the initial collection and sorting, before it is forwarded onto the actual Aramex FastWay couriers. So when Aramex FastWay are quoting delivery times by themselves to their customers, they probably don't give this extra period of time in their data. There seems to be a LACK of transparency within this initial period of the logistics. Aramex FastWay actually claim to have NO idea of what and where the package is, they have NO tracking data.
The parcel could be completely lost.
Absolutely NO customer service BUT I managed to gain a VIP number and after 4 calls a nice lady answered the call and was vey helpful after I told them I was to take contact with Amazon USA and AU
a complaint has been made to Amazon seeking NOT to use them as they are bad for any business
the only place for Fastway and the new coat of paint Amarex is the Federal Court of Australia for Prohibited Trades Practices penalties
best advice DO NOT USE THEM and if the company you are purchasing uses them find another seller who uses somebody else
and be careful when agitated asians who deliver come calling at your premises and abuse you which just happened to me today
this asian guy damaged my front gate with his car door, yes a car door and not a designated Fastway vehicle and then stated it was too hot to deliver / blamed the weather and it gets better he tells lies that he actually attempted to deliver and when. he was confronted that he was no where near the property and CCTV never captured him, his story again changed
the better this show is shut down and the executives held accountable for misleading and deceptive conduct and unconscionable conduct in a court of law
After receiving everything from Australia Post, everything sent via fastway is delayed or not even sent out yet...
fastway is unreliable, slow and don't answer your questions, stick with Auspost
