Rubbish delivery service and customer service
I have used First Choice Liquor for some time as they have good products and great bundle offers. However, my last order took well over 2 weeks to get here. On enquiry, I found out that Aust Post, in their inimitable wisdom, saw fit to send an order going to the Blue Mountains from the nearest store in Penrith - 45mins drive away - to SYDNEY before then sending on to Blue Mountains. I placed another order 8 days ago and usually F.Choice send an email to say that the order has left their premises. No such email. So today I called, to be told that one of the products in my order was unavailable. No advice, no word. After some wrangling with customer service, I have got no joy at all. A measly offer of a $10 voucher. I explained that the order was for an occasion this coming weekend and given the lack of communication, could they please send express. Short answer 'no'. Pay for same day delivery..still waiting!
Online order,paid extra for same day delivery,no notification except invoice,?rang customer service, they promised delivery next day & postage refund.emailed customer service,still no refund,no reply, still waiting for my order? Pathetic service.very disappointing.

Unacceptable
Took 4 weeks to receive delivery no contact from First Choice. Customer service email address bounces. Used Aust Post terrible service. Not at all good...hopeless. Will not purchase from here ever nor use Aust Post!

Rebadging from 1st Choice to First Choice Liquor
Now Need coin to access trolly - this obviously to reduce staff numbers who used to collect trollies, which wasn’t a problem at Kenmore, as most people returned them, and I suspect very few pinched them - a turn-off as I don’t carry coins.Usually full car-park empty as others obviously think deterioration in service.
Will now go back to Dan Murphys.

Sent wrong item then completely ignored requests to correct order
After a week of sending emails trying get a wrong item sorted they can't even be bother replying.
Ordered 12 yr old scotch got cheaper scotch, large price difference as well so what do they do.. NOTHING
Why not at least reply? Seems simple to fix. Nice way to treat a regular customer.
Also had previous issues with lengthy delivery times in the past, up to 2 weeks, both mothers and fathers day orders were late so it is very hard to recommend this lot.

Forget about buying Bundles advertised
Twice now I have tried to buy advertised bundles. The first time, they at least eventually contacted me to say one of the products in the bundle was out of stock and offered me to replace it with the one that was often the cheapest - 6 for $36. I refused and said I would accept one of the better ones. I was later advised that was also out of stock, then told the one I had selected first was now available. he alternate wine I had agreed to but the cheaper 6 for $36 in the other. I was sick to death of the whole deal by that time and just put up with it. The second time, I ordered a bundle which included free delivery for that day on a lesser dollar value than normal. The bundle looked good. I paid via paypal and, of course, that went straight through to my account. I received an email to say my order was being processed that same day. However, that was on the 27 May and delivery was noted as by 5 June. On 5 June, after APO had been (our contractor is just the best so absolutely no issue with APO), I phoned First Choice as I normally would have received confirmation that order had been despatched and I would have had an APO number to check - not so this time. I was told they could not supply that particular bundle as they had no stock and was offered a current bundle which had lesser quality wines but refused and after a very lengthy conversation with multiple apologies, I simply asked for my money back. I then asked if I would have to wait as long to get that but no, it did come through the same day. Strongly suggest ordering bundles are an absolute waste of time. I have even checked the wines that were supposedly out of stock only to find they were available in store. Won't get caught again. Really disappointing. I should have done research.
I decided to buy from First Choice because I had a discount code and they were offering free delivery. They don't state on their site what method they use for delivery. I found out after I paid that they deliver via Auspost which is always a problem. Auspost is not reliable.
There is no online customer service. Only phone or mail.
I assumed that because First Choice is part of the Coles Group the online experience would be simliar to the Coles online experience. It definitely was not.
First Choice is meant to compete with Dan Murphy but in my opinion it doesn't come close.

this has got to be the worlds worst website!!!
so many times they send me an offer so I go in to buy and cannot get past first base. I buy and seel all day online so I know what a bad website is and this is the WORST.

Horrible customer service
I placed an order which was showing available on website and when I went to store to collect, the store guy said it was unavailable. I called customer service and after 20 mins on the phone he hung up on me when I asked him do u have a complaints dept. They are horrible in customer service.

Could not care about customer service and long standing customer
I ordered a box of wine as I was having a dinner party and paid for same day deliver. The wrong wine was sent. I contacted customer service with no reply. I tried to contact them twice more with no reply. I have been shopping with them regularly for well over ten years but this didn't seem to matter. I have since shifted to Dan Murpheys and to date quiet happy with service.

No stock. Oh wait, now we have stock a week later.
Ordered two bottles of wine and got a ‘sorry, no stock’ email that said they could send another wine or give me a refund. Asked for a refund. No response. Asked again. No response. Asked again. No response. Nine days later I get a shipment notification from AusPost. Meanwhile, I ordered a six pack from Qantas for cheaper. Lesson learned, only buy from Qantas.

SO MUCH FOR THEIR DELIVERY SERVICE
Ordered our New Years Eve liquor, Carton of beer a couple of wines. Order date 28th December, plenty of time EXCEPT they sent the order by Australia Post. On New Years Eve we were advised that the delivery wouldn't be happening. The local store is 15 minutes away. The fact that they didn't take into that New Years Eve was an Australia Post holiday and in any case as they are a 7 day operation why couldn't they do next day delivery? And there was no delivery . All I got was a card in my letter box advising that I should pick the two cartons up from the Post Office. That's NOT delivery in my view.
