Last resort liquor
Placed on online order with a $10 off promo - credit applied to cart.
Order confirmation arrives, charged full price - called Call Centre and credit will be issued in 2 days...
Then noticed name of person Collecting was not correct (you need ID and CC) so contacted the Store and directed to Call Centre (again) and advised this needs to be same as CC holder so despite CC holder (me) nominating someone this is is automatically changed back!
Waste of time and money FC has invested into online if the Customer has to do all the work... would drive you to drink !
PS invoice says to “leave a review on Our website” I would if I could find the reviews !

Absolutely disgusting business model
Placed an order on 11 May for 5 bottles, got a confirmation of the order immediately, a few business days went by still no tracking number or to say it has been dispatched. Sent a couple of emails to find out what was going on I waited until the 15th to send another email (still nothing) sent another on the 17th still nothing nor a dispatch notice. I was absolutely furious not one email was provided to say they were waiting on the $15 bottle to return to stock, had I of been informed i would have just cancelled the out of stock item and had the others shipped. Not only has it cost me a week but now I'm going to have to source items for my sons surprise party in the midst of not being well. Was offered a click and collect which does not suit (hence ordering online) nearest store 250km away. THANKS A LOT FIRST CHOICE I am absolutely disgusted in my experience and have now requested a FULL refund. 9 weeks and counting ...
Originally ordered online, over the minimum to allow for free postage. 3 times the order was reviewed / looked into / redirected in the mail. I understand it could be Australia Post issue but i have received other parcels and no problem just slightly delayed. Not 9 weeks and then having to cancel. It was more effort than it was worth. Customer service in the end was great once I managed to get through. They did apologise and empathise but I feel they need to either A) not give false promise and correct expected delivery times B) provide complimentary express or alternative shipping options when other means have failed multiple times. Not just a $10 voucher to spend on my next order ( which I am sorry is NOT going to happen).

COVID-19 rip offs
About 6 weeks ago I went to the Salisbury First Choice shop to purchase some THE NED Pinot Gris. It was $10.00 a bottle and a small discount if purchased in a 6 pack. About 4 weeks ago I returned to get some more THE NED and it was out of stock. The following week, and again today, THE NED was in stock, but the price had increased 60% - YES 60% - a bottle now costs $16.00. I believe this is price gouging.

Don't hold your breath

Over 2 months and still no fix for their mistake!
I placed a large order on the 3rd of March and i received the order a week later but instead of Johnnie Walker Black label 1 Litre they sent me a Johnnie Walker Red Label. I understand that mistakes can happen so I emailed them to give them a chance to fix up the mistake. No response after 2 emails so I called in and was told I would have to go in-store to change bottle over. o the manager and he said he would email a manager to call me. One week passes and no call so I call and request another call from a manager. Another week passes and I realise nobody is going to call me so I travel 40min round trip to exchange bottle in store. When I go instore the store manager was sympathetic to my situation but told me the mistake was from their online team and that he can't exchange the bottle. This manager was actually understanding so I am not complaining about him. I explained that their online team is telling me to go instore and that he is telling me to speak to online team so I am just stuck in the middle. He said he would pass it on to Area Manager. I've followed up several times over the last month and the manager has apologised but said that he is still waiting on a response. I also received a random email from online team saying that someone from Australia Post would call me to pick up the Red Label by courier and that once they receive the bottle they will send me the Black. I haven't been contacted by Australia Post and I have emailed them several times and they haven't responded. IT HAS BEEN 2 MONTHS!! I don;t understand why they can't just apologise and send me a bottle of black label! My orders to First choice this year alone have totaled over $1000 but that is the last business they will be getting from me. And I'll make it a point to share this experience with everyone I know. Disappointing customer service
They screwed my order up. I received 2 wines and a 10 pack of cider (all in good order, original packing etc), with a case of cider on back order. Noticed my case was sitting at the Auspost warehouse for about 2-3 weeks. Then it turns up in a cardboard box with cardboard dividers with a sticker from AusPost saying it was damaged to go back to the seller. I assume based on the disgusting cardboard box that it went back to them because of a problem and they put it in a cardboard box.

Actually was just expecting an apology for the massive delay and missing bottle. Got no replies. Zilch, nada. Reading the other low ratings on here it makes a lot of sense. Be warned. Took my money
Had an order that qualified for free delivery and at the end of purchase process offered next business day delivery for $10, which I hesitated about then clicked (lunchtime Wednesday 29 April). Thursday night no delivery, checked my account said Fri 1 May delivery. Sent email to Customer service, no response. Next day account was saying Monday 4 May delivery . It arrived then but got dudded on the $10.
Never again.

No customer service
Ordered 4 weeks ago after 3 weeks I was really getting worried so I started to try calling emailing without any outcome.. Finally someone left a message on may phone that my order is on hold(?!?! ) and I have to ring them back.. Tried no answer.. But they took my money out of my account right away after ordering... Told them now just want my money back and I want compensation apology voucher anything. nothing but today I received a refund but nothing else.. Just rude..

Dreadful delivery service, NEVER AGAIN
Placed order online on the 5th April for contactless delivery that dropped by the way side once paid and invoiced, two weeks later contacted customer services that were no help emailing me referring to completely different order number (not mine). Thankfully our local store manager has sorted this problem (3939) ALL 5 STARS FOR THIS MANAGER

Ordered a One Day Only special of a Sauvignon Blanc Dozen on 10 March 2020.

Online ordering absolute waste of time
No transparency from First Choice on their online procedure. Order placed, but when processed, stock ordered was not in stock. They have no local dispatch. Zero customer service. Go to your local store. But avoid their online store completely. An absolute waste of time.

Let me count the ways you failed to get close to my expectations
I saw some deals that made me try FCL for the first time.
I ordered on the 5th April.
I saw there was a deal for free delivery over $150 so I ordered a bit more.
This is when the failure starts.
First, I never got my free delivery.
Second, my order never appeared in my order history which made me question whether the order went through.
Finally, it's been 17 days and I'm hoping the stuff might arrive tomorrow.
Worst of all they keep sending me emails for deals that I'm pretty sure the cannot fulfil in any reasonable time.
Hoping when my order arrived that nothing has stuffed up but not confident looking at other reviews.

Ordered online for the first time on 30/03/2020
Part of the order arrived today ( 18 days from ordering) with one box missing. Unfortunately Australia Post have marked my order as delivered. I have currently listed the missing box with them. I have tried to phone First Choice several times, unable to get through. Very disappointed and won't be ordering online from them again. Wish I had read the reviews prior to ordering!

Money gone - no wine
Ordered 25 bottles of wine before the covid lockdown (26 March) .....still waiting emailed twice (absolutely No response from emails). Phoned 3 times. Aust Post are blamed! Today is 17th April ... still no wine. To state I am very disappointed would be a understatement!

Quick to take money but no alcohol
We placed an order on the 24th of March, before the strict alcohol restrictions were enforced to stock up. I am in isolation due to my high risk because of my disability. link. This was not working, hence the phone call. The agent was dismissive of my enquiry and said it is because they were so busy. I asked for a supervisor and was advised none were available, agent continued to dismiss my complaint. I asked for a supervisor to call me and for an official complaint to be lodged and heard nothing further. On the 9th of April I again rang and after 30 minutes on hold spoke to a female agent who was sympathetic and apologised, again advised of lengthy delays. She advised us it was in transit with Australia Post and not to expect it before Easter. It would be Tuesday or Wednesday the week after. She offered me a refund, which I did decline as I just wanted my order. I pointed out that on their website it shows delivery between 2to 5 days. In the meantime I have placed 2 orders with Dan Murphy’s and received them within 3 business days. Yesterday I went on to the Australia Post tracker and it shows that my order had been approved for pickup from FirstChoice but hasn’t been collected. Today after only a 10 minute wait I spoke to a different female agent who again apologised, offered to cancel and refund, would place a tracking enquiry on my behalf. I asked to again speak to a supervisor, again no one was available. She took down my number and advised me to expect a call later today of which surprise, surprise has not occurred. TERRIBLE!! WILL NOT USE AGAIN
I ordered 12 x bottles of wine and 2 x cases of beer on 1 April. Roughly a week later I received the wine. No beer. I called customer service and was told that my order was sent as three different packages (!!) and that the other two 'were on the way'. Still nothing by 9 April I called again. I called customer service again and this time I was told that the packages were actually at Australia Post and had been since 6 April! He very rudely told me he had sent an investigation and that he just 'had to wait a couple of days for them to email back'. I asked if he could just call them and he said no. I asked if he could just express out two new cases of beer and have the ones at Australia Post sent back to him he said no. He then tried to tell me that Australia Post didn't do express shipping!!
