Horrible experience. Took one week to tell me that one item was not available. 1 day to Christmas.
Placed an order one week before Christmas. Took them one week to tell me that one of the bottles I ordered was not available and offered a replacement with a French wine. I'm going overseas and it's pointless to me.
Only thing they can do is offer a total refund: not even deliver what's available and refund what's not.
Now I'm stuck ON XMAS EVE with NO PRESENTS TO BRING OVERSEAS.
TOOK YOU ONE WEEK FOR THIS CLOWN-ESQUE response.
Never again. Stay away from them.

We went First Choice Liquor Market Lutwyche. We were there for almost half an hour trying to find drinks and no body warned us that they can't process once it reaches 10 O clock. The lady came to us and said "we can't process so you have to put your drinks back and get out" This is the exact words she used and felt very personal, not sure why but could have at least treated us like everyone else. Called the customer care about the policy and he said that shouldn't have happened but funny he didn't even ask which store and said we will pass it on to the team. It's very clear both store and head office don't care about customers.
Unacceptably delayed delivery and the wines received were not the original ones advertised (cheapest wines instead). Can't give them as Christmas presents now. Would definitely not use the Online Store ever again.
Said it would be delivered but I had to call them… no delivery and no refund offered…waited over a week. No contact. Do not order from this business ever.

Waited 10 days for an order then they sent me the wrong order. I have spent hours driving around trying to find the wine that was meant to be delivered. Do your self a favor and don't buy from this company.

Went to buy a 10 pack of Wild Turkey 101 zero from the Flemington, Vic store today. Found out that Liquor Legends in Yarraville was $5 cheaper, First Choice refused to match/beat their price. Better off going directly to Dan Murphy's because they beat everyone's price no questions asked!

Ordered 5 boxes of beer on 7th December for delivery by 14th December for function on 18th December, 1 box was delivered on 14th 1 box delivered on 18th..
This organisation has no idea about time frame & customer requirement, when contacted all I got was sorry I do not know how this could happen....... Obviously they do not regard these reviews as customer feedback. Will never shop with them again.

I went to the Waterford First Choice liquor stall today, bought XXXX bitter, $59.00, picked up a bottle of Mayfair gin, as there is $44.00 special instead of $48.00 regular price.
Staff member rings it up on the cash register; $107.00.
I’ve had an issue in this store before, so not surprised, yep only $4.00, but if it wasn’t on ‘special’, I wouldn’t have purchased that particular item

Not for the first time, my order was not delivered together. Received one part last week and 5 days later still waiting for the next part, with NO COMMUNICATION as to when it will be delivered. You pay through the nose for delivery, they take your money immediately and then it’s Murphy’s law as to when you get your goods. Finally got through to the online delivery complaints department to try and ascertain what was going on, and the ‘lovely’ consultant didn’t like my query or tone (not aggressive or abusive by the way), and summarily hung up on me.
What great customer service lol.
I bought Magnum size (1500 ml) bottles of Moet Chandon champagne and was delivered regular size (750ml) bottles. Getting help from so called customer service (Ha) was impossibly difficult. After 6 calls and numerous emails (including photos to prove my complaint and waiting time of 10 mins each call!) I received some help but await the replacement delivery with some trepidation!
Also contacted the local shop at Kellyville where I thought I had purchased through and they were completely useless. Honestly worst online purchase EVER and to top it off it was a gift ! Thanks for nothing.

In order to click and collect you have to sign up for an account:-name,phone number,address,date of birth,email.Seems like overkill: I mean phone number and email yeah.....but address and date of birth?....for a click and collect i would have to have a valid id for anyway?A bit much really.Smells like data farming to me.All that should be required is a valid id and an accepted form of payment.Also the only form of contact is via phone or written mail-no online chat-no email-seems pretty backward these days.Relax the requirements and get a business email first choice kiddies;you will make more money that way.end result;a lost sale,off I go to see uncle dan.

Not once but twice we have been burnt from this incompetent so called company! I placed an order online with First Choice. They only delivered 2 boxes instead of 3. When I called to inquire about the 3rd box they stated that “something” must have happened and it was returned to the warehouse. I asked for them to deliver again and they stated that the goods were no longer available although I could still order through their website. They refused to honour the price I purchased the goods at which was over $60 difference. To get this response took 2 hours and 4 different customer service staff. Not customer focused at all. Avoid at all costs.

steer very clear, i placed an online order and paid the delivery which was to be next day between 6pm and 9pm the morning of the delivery day some of my items were out of stock, i asked to replace them with other items which ended up all to hard so they refunded those items . i stressed i still wanted the rest of the items to be delivered that night as i had paid for . i had my from gate wedged wide open until 9.30 pm and delivery was a no show . have spent 3/4 of an hour on the phone since . seriously, do not rely on First Choice as i found them frustrating and extremely unreliable . order from anyone but these guys .

After reading about all the problems others are having with 1st. Choice mine appears trivial (but here goes).. I frequently buy my liquor from either BWS or Dan Murphy's .. This is not the first time I am having a really bad experience with First Choice so I really hope that somebody from the management team will finally pick it up and make some changes.

I ordered and paid a premium fee for same day delivery. Order never turned up, and tracking shows order never picked from the store by their courier contractor SHIPPIT (see their ultra-negative reviews on this website!!!). The dispensing store is only 8 kms away.

Treated rudely on several occasions by Penelope at the Cairns Sheridan Street store. When paying by cash she taps the counter with her finger, and says nothing. Assuming that she wants you to put the cash on counter rather than take it from you, we did so. She then takes the cash up and puts in till. She also does not want to touch goods placed on counter. If she is this challenged by a fear of customer interaction, she needs to be reform this position. A very unpleasant individual

I've found First Choice Liquor click and collect pretty good. Our local store has staff that are friendly and helpful and only once was the order wrong where they short changed me 3 bottles and then when I pointed it out I didn't realise until I got home that they gave me the wrong 3 to make up the order.
But their delivery is absolutely atrocious. Do not order! It's awesome that they ask you to write a review on your purchase when you haven't received the goods and when you go on to review you can't because it's more than 2 weeks after your order date. Laughable. I'm sitting here on 20th October, ordered 5th October, advised 16th October it's on it's way and then advised today it should be here by 22nd October.

Untrained staff, double charged if wanted to keep purchase, no customer service
Purchased 5 bottles of wine on Saturday 2nd October at Capable store. The guy at the register booked through the purchase, I signed the receipt using my US credit card on this occasion, and then he supposedly pressed cancel. He panicked and called other staff to help. They insisted the purchase had been cancelled and if I wanted to retain my 5 bottles of wine ($68) I would have to pay again using the same credit card, there was no genuine apology and no act in good faith like Woolworths would do for example. Absolutely no customer service, customer might be right, this store is an awful example of customer service, and I am sure Coles would not want to be reading this example of customer service as First Choice is part of Coles. This has to be one of the worst online shopping experiences for a long long time. 3 weeks for delivery and they blame Australia post when they never even shipped it for over 2 weeks.. We buy a lot of wine online and in the time I was waiting for this order had another 5 orders placed and delivered with other companies which only took around 3 business days from placing the order to having it delivered. Their customer service is just terrible and I notice they've taken down their Facebook page and disabled Google reviews.. lol
