I ordered some wine online and on delivery day (which was one day late anyway) I received a text saying that it would be delivered at a certain time and if we weren't home it would be taken to the Post Office. As we are currently in Covid isolation naturally we were home. I received a text and an email saying that we were not at home. Read morehe gentleman on the phone assured me that this had to be my fault and that the order would have to be resubmitted or cancelled and I could get a refund. There was no offer of it being redelivered and as we are in isolation we can't pick it up. What terrible service. I buy from First Choice because of Fly Buys but will never go there again.

I ordered online six bottles of Yarra Burn Prosecco to collect from First Choice North Wollongong. This was part of a larger order, and the bottles were packed with other products in miscellaneous boxes. I placed one in the refrigerator, and it was not until two days later that I poured it to drink, and saw that it was pink - I had been given 6 bottles of Yarra Burn sparkling rosé!
I returned the 5 unopened bottles to the store along with the receipt detailing the order, and they immediately gave me a case of six Yarra Burn Prosecco, and apologised for the mix up.
Well done and thank you First Choice North Wollongong!

Waited 10 days for an order then they sent me the wrong order. I have spent hours driving around trying to find the wine that was meant to be delivered. Do your self a favor and don't buy from this company.

I placed an order online with First Choice. They only delivered 2 boxes instead of 3. When I called to inquire about the 3rd box they stated that “something” must have happened and it was returned to the warehouse. I asked for them to deliver again and they stated that the goods were no longer available although I could still order through their website. They refused to honour the price I purchased the goods at which was over $60 difference. To get this response took 2 hours and 4 different customer service staff. Not customer focused at all. Avoid at all costs.

I ordered and paid a premium fee for same day delivery. Order never turned up, and tracking shows order never picked from the store by their courier contractor SHIPPIT (see their ultra-negative reviews on this website!!!). The dispensing store is only 8 kms away.
I called the customer care line this morning and the lady told me I had to wait for a refund until the couriers had returned the goods. I advised that non delivery is not MY problem, and the order will need to be refunded and immediately or I will proceed to a chargeback on my credit c...

I opened a bottle of white wine that I had bought some weeks ago but it was off - smelly and fizzy. I returned it to the First Choice where I had bought it, expecting to be given a replacement. The sales person was rude and when I said that I didn't have a receipt, he said "Well anyone could just come in and say that." He then proceeded to discuss me with two other sales people who were unaware I was behind them. "Where is she?" one of them said. "Here!" I replied. I shop frequently at this First Choice store and have never encountered service like this.

Ordered thinking it would come from local store. Now find out it's Melbourne...7days after purchase and Btw missed Father's Day for my Dad..I just received an email. Looks like reading these reviews it's my first and last time...I could have got local to deliver next day. This is going to be way over 2weeks.
Rediculas in 2021 they cant work this out. Customers who are thinking of ordering Don't...slow unreliable and not worth your time chasing it up.

Purchased a bottle of cab sav, it was absolutely atrocious, rung Gerome from my local store in Baldivis swapped it over for something a little more palatable. Great chap. Very happy with the level of service that was provided.

Ordered the wrong wine by mistake, rang to exchange for the correct wine exactly the same price. Was told that they would not exchange, could not speak to a team leader because the phone consulate said he did not have a phone after repeated attempts to speak to a team leader I was hung up on. I had purchased 3 Doz. Bottles so I was somewhat annoyed, will never deal with them again

Ordered 3x1 litre bottles of whiskey, waited a week for delivery but received 3x 700ml bottles. I contacted customer service who offered to refund the difference or have them pick up the wrong product and send out the correct ones. Asked how much the difference (as this would determine whether it was worthwhile to go through the trouble of returning) and was quoted a figure, agreed to that and asked them to proceed. I then opened one of the bottles only for customer service to come back the next day and tell me they quoted the refund amount on the wrong product and that I'd only get about 5 dollars back per bottle! Absolutely incompetent organisation and won't ever shop there again.

I placed an order on 9th December. The original delivery estimate was 14th December. Our office Xmas party was the 18th. Come the 15th I had not received delivery and had received no SMS updates and no emails regarding the delayed delivery. I logged in and discovered the new estimated delivery date was 24th December.
I call customer service to change the order to click and collect. No problem, staff were helpful and courteous. Next day no text, no order. I call customer service again and am told that this time for sure. Several hours later, no ...

If you can avoid it, I would not purchase through First Choice Liquor! The sales process was so complicated, involved sending photos of very sensitive identity docs (did not need to do this for my large purchase of similar product with wine.com.au). Email communication was quite snarky when I was needing reassurance re the confidentiality of the identification docs. Then had a payment issue (my fault), but had phone ping pong trying to get through to someone to fix it ...when ringing them back on the given number the person answering could not ...

Then, after all of this, received my 20 bottles of Moet (for my Hamper biz) NOT in the individual boxes I had purchased but in cases of 6! Unusable for me. Their solution? Initially no refund as I had ‘changed my mind’. I pointed out I still wanted the product I purchased, they just didn’t deliver it. So, after a 3 week process, and having to push back a lot, it is all being returned and I will get a full refund. But am without the product I needed. Followed up on many ongoing delays with my order and was told that it was fine to cancel the order and i would be refunded. I cancelled the long delayed order, but was then told i would have to wait for 1STChoice to receive their product back. I could see through tracking that they recieived their product back but i never received a refund.
Still no refund after a month.

online order with wine and spirits, thought i would treat myself with my fav gin. Hendricks $68 a bottle. Order arrives and receipt has hendricks with $68 charged. However i have been sent a $45 bottle of tanquery. Called to try and sort someone has to come collect and once returned my gin will be sent.. not happy as this was an order for a holiday so don't have a week to muck about. No apology that i have been over charged for what i actually received. Apparently i will receive a refund and someone will collect the gin, won't be ordering online again and first time order was 2 weeks and i called and they were waiting for my wine from nz but no communication on the delay or offer to refund or swap out.
