Superb fridge
This is an excellent fridge. Especially loved the Actuve Smart control for quick cooling. And the crisper kept Vegies crisp for ever. Easy to move and stylish to boot - it was on castors and iced over the floor. Super roomy as well. Highly recommend thus as a great family fridge

Handle breaking off
Door handle broke off at the bottom after a few years of gentle use. Clearly a manufacturing defect: a piece of cheap cast iron used to connect an expensive stainless steel handle.

White cabinet
- Our only problems were food freezing on top shelf when items placed next to air outlet, but no problem if items are kept clear of this vent, and the plastic veggie bins cracked.
- It appears our electronic module box has failed along with the de-frost heater element in freezer department - the cost of repair (approx. $500) goes a long way to buying a new fridge; so that's what I am going to do - purchase the latest model - a F&P E522BLE - incidentally, the cost is exactly the same as 10 years ago - $1350!

My freezer has a pool of frozen water on the bottom. I've removed it 3 separate times now and checked nothing is leaking but it keeps reforming. What is causing this problem ?

It is very difficult to make an accurate diagnosis of the specific cause without the benefit of inspecting your appliance.
If you would like to arrange a technician to attend to your refrigerator, you can call our 24-hour Customer Care Centre on 1300 650 590 and a Customer Representative will assist you with service in your area.
Alternatively, you can search for service in your area by using our online locator at the following link: http://www.fisherpaykel.com/au/support/service-appliances#request-a-service
If there is a Fisher & Paykel technician in your area, a form will be generated which you can complete to submit a service request using our online booking facility. Otherwise, the locator will provide you with the contact details for the Authorised Service Centre(s) near your area.

Where the water collects out the back was blocked with crud. I pulled it out and cleaned it and it was all fixed.
