I've had enough!!!
I purchased a property with a Fisher & Paykel twin DishDrawer already installed. The previous owners would have had to make a significant financial sacrifice to purchase this product and I was baffled to understand why they would be happy to leave it behind. I now understand why. This dishwasher had been nothing but trouble. It's flooded my kitchen on several occasions. After repeated call outs I have had the motor rotors and the control board replaced. The F1 and F2 error codes are commonplace on my display panel. One only has to google Fisher...Read more
& Paykel DishDrawer faults will confirm the unreliability of this product. If you are still not convinced you can simply search on gumtree where there are many broken Fisher & Paykel DishDrawers being sold by frustrated owners because their machines are not viable to repair. A salesman has told me the the latest generation of DishDrawers have a lower failure rate, but I'm not taking the risk. For me, the unreliability of the DishDrawer is just too bothering. I'll redesign my kitchen to accommodate a Bosch Dishwasher. Fisher & Paykel's reputation is tarnished from realising this substandard product. I will never trust them again.

A must In the kitchen
After recently moving house we purchased our third dishdrawer. I guess you either love them or hate them. I am a real fan. Being able to have two independent draws is very handy. We fill one draw up turn it on them start filling the other and so in. I find it washes extremely well and is very easy to operate also super quiet operation. I'm very happy with this model.

So many error codes
I have now been through three of the dishwashers in my time and having finally given in and remodelled the kitchen cabinets to fit a standard sized machine. Flood error, door error arghh. Service after $ervice. Love the concept hate the execution. I cringe when I look at an investment property with them built in.

Very Pleased
Have only had this Dishwasher installed since July and so far very pleased with it. I have never been a big user of dishwashers but the idea of double drawers sounded perfect. To be honest though, I kept veering away from this design given the not so good reviews with these dish drawers.
I decided to bite the bullet when renovating my kitchen and go with this model which has been a pleasure to use. I guess time will tell but so far - so good.
Love how the door handles are now flush and not protruding like the older model.

Works well for our family
We researched a lot of dishwashers and it ended up coming down to the one that would work the best for our family. We can load one drawer and have it wash the dinner plates and pots, and then load in the breakfast plates the next day in the other drawer.
Before we had the dishdrawer, we were always waiting to fill up the dishwasher before turning it on. Now, as soon as we have dinner, the dishes go into the dishwasher - no dirty dishes hanging around. I also think it washes better in the smaller space of a drawer rather than the large space of...Read more

Not good
Purchased this in May. Does not clean dishes at all well. My sister told me to ensure that I do not use it on 'echo'. Helped a bit! Doesn't complete the cycle but gets stuck at one spot. Fisher and Paykel will take a week to send a service person. Am very disappointed. Last d'washer was trouble free Asko. Had it for fourteen years. Wish I had bought another. -they were cheaper too! Will not buy another F & P product.
Not much.
Doesn't clean dishes. Doesn't complete cycle. Service slow and no one seems to care!

Love this dishwasher!
I had my first two drawer Fisher and Pykel dishwasher for 10 years without any trouble. In the last 12 months or so it started to wear out, a lot of the problems caused by me using products designed for full sized dishwashers and using cleaners not designed for these dishwashers. I honestly believe she would have kept on going otherwise. Fisher and Pykel offered me a replacement deal which included install and removal of my old machine for a great price! My installer was amazing, he explained what to use and not to use and why. I love my t...Read more
wo drawer, so convenient to use, efficient, reliable, and you don't need to waste a lot of money on cleaners or use expensive tablets. Fisher and Pykel looked after us also, so an overall great experience.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Worse than rubbish
Massive problems with unit 9 months after 1 yr warenty expired, throwing out the power to the house, so huge problem, got brush off from company and harvey norman. We also live outside a regional centre but no repair service here, and basically told too bad. With such a massive fault that could burn the house down, I though they might like the unit back.
No service to our area, and no help at all.

What a mistake
Bought and installed in December 2013 and already making terrible noise. We have followed the trouble shooting ideas, without success. After reading the reviews I am reluctant to even ring F & P and definitely don't want to spend a lot of money getting it repaired (if one can be found). I am surprised this website is monitored by F&P, as they don't seem to be reacting to the bad comments.
Wish me luck, I am about to contact F & P with the hope of resolving the problem. Will write another review in due course.
Two drawers
Doesn't wash well, have to nearly wash everything before putting in drawer

a new circuit board and it would go poof as soon as the guy was out of the driveway. I will never buy anything made by F and P as it is all rubbish. We put a westinghouse in and it served us well for nearly 10 years. I would not have a fisher and Paykel if it was given to meSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

DishDrawers for life!
After my previous DishDrawer of over 12 years decided to stop working (the top drawer stopped and wasn't worth investing more $$$ into an old machine to get it to work again), we upgraded to the latest DishDrawer and I am very happy with our decision.
Our previous DishDrawer was wonderful to use (and we only had 2 call-outs for repair in those 12 years), but these new ones have definitely improved with the little things: adjustable height shelves, racks that can be adjusted for bowl size and flattened for pots/big items, more cutlery basket ...Read more
"real estate" and the ability to use dishwashing tablets (which I don't use, but was never able to use with the older machine). There have been several times where I stood and listened to the machine to check it is working because it is much quieter than our old machine, a definite improvement when you need dishes washed: no need to choose dishwashing or TV, you can do both! ;) Although it is more expensive than many dishwashers, I have always appreciated having access to two dishwashers so there is always one empty to fill with dishes while the other washes. My life has changed in 12 years from being a young married 20-something to having 4 young children and many things to juggle... having a dishwasher at hand to fill at any given time is invaluable! It is a thumbs up from me and my 3 year old whom likes emptying the cutlery from the bottom drawer... :) Flexibility of having two dishwashers, quiet, economical, lovely to look at!2 comments

Never again
Have to clean dishes before and after use most days, it also constantly has errors requiring either a repair man or hours of dismantling. I probably pull it a part every 6 weeks to fix it. F1 error, f2 error, flooding that requires moping and an hair dryer. Plastic parts that break, doesn't dry properly etc etc ectc
I like the idea of a dish drawer for convenient half loads after breakfast etc
Kept breaking, and poor job at cleaning

makes too much noise, doesn't dry glasses or cups properly and if you have a slightly oversized plate the water spindle hits it while it spins. Really disappointing and will get rid of my brand new one on ebay and get something else,

orrect installation(by the homeowner trying to save a few bucks)or incorrect stacking(if you place a dish thats too high for the lid to close and seal the drawer, of course its going to leak and maybe hit electronics-DOHHHHH!I've had mine about 6 years & never had any of the problems others report. I've never scraped or pre rinsed plates, always over load it & wedge everything in. Occasionally spoons don't get cleaned & the filter a bit manky but easily cleaned

My machine is 5 years old. Recently I have had trouble setting the machine. My regular setting is Fast and ECO 33 minutes. Lately when I press the middle button to start the cycle it displays I to 10 and does this several times before I hear the motor start. What if any does the lock system far right do?

Hi Janet,
We just had very bad experience from them. Any product might give you problems but it's about customer service and this is non excisting with them. They dont answer calls, return calls or keep you up to date. All of the best.
