ADORE IT!!! I have never been happier with a washing machine!
I love this machine so much, after coming from a 5kg Samsung top loader I have never been happier. It is so quiet (my best friend's sounds like a jet taking off and she is über jelly) and doesn't have an annoying 40 second jingle upon finish, then it turns off. It's spin reli wrings out the excess water, the drum hasn't started to get smelly at all. I love the different settings, the water efficiency, the minimal amount of product required to wash things and that they always come out so clean and smelling so nice. I haven't had any clothing wear out as a result of use yet and I've had it 18 months.

In love!!
Love this machine!! Super quiet. Quick washes available that get a super good clean. That was the most surprising and exciting; how clean everything came out. Mines on cement floor so no clue what a couple others are talking about. If it's installed and leveled it's perfection. So very happy!

Great washing machine. Love it.
I absolutely love this washing machine. It's very quiet and cleans great so far. I haven't had any problems with wash times. The 'Everyday' cycle takes about an hour which is about what my last washer took for a normal load. No problems with it shaking or moving however my laundry floor is concrete.
I was considering the WH7560P1 (which currently has a 4.3/5 from 96 reviews) It's the model up form this washer. After comparing the few differences between the two I couldn't justify the additional price for features I wouldn't miss. The lower s...Read more
pin speed of this model is quite sufficient (1100rpm vs 1400rpm). Items come out with very little water and dry quickly on the clothes line. I managed to get it at a bargain price at JB Hi-Fi by asking them to beat a 20% discount sale The Good Guys were having on ebay. Also instead of having to wait a week for it to arrive I was able to pick it up that day. It was easy to install, it's easy to use, looks nice, good energy and water ratings. Couldn't be happier.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
BEWARE This machine If You Have A Wooden Floor.
Researched this and the P1 model with more washing cycles and bought this when the P1 was out of stock everywhere. It has a self balancing option that adjusts the load and restarts the cycle if the load becomes unbalanced. We liked the idea of this. This machine is very quiet and washes well, we used the everyday wash most of the time. The quick 30 minute wash is a good option although it would be greatly enhanced if one could add softener to this cycle. (The P1 model even has a 15 minute ultra quick wash).
Unfortunately from day 1 this model ...Read more

Great washer
We've had this machine for around 12 months now and it hasn't missed a beat.
It washes clothes really well and is very quiet compared to our old top loader which means we can turn it on just before we go to bed and not be disturbed by the noise.
I love the quick wash option which only takes 30 minutes to do a full load of washing.
You can pre-select the speed that the spin cycle works on and can customize your wash temperature for each wash selection.
We needed a machine to fit into a small(ish) space and this one is nice and narrow on the outside, but can still take our king size doona.

Fantastic for a shared house of 3 guys
So quiet, washes better than any other machine I've invested in, and no need for a dryer because the spin cycle is more than adequate.
excellent for washing in the wee small hours whilst the others are sleeping. With 3 guys in the house hold it does the job well.

Good solid performer
On the plus side, I like the "beep" when its done function, has a good choice of basic programmes and it self balances reasonably well
On the down side you only get 1100rpm spin speed, have to go to the Washsmart model to get 1400rpm.
Gets used most days, takes 3 big bath towels OK, working well after 3months

Fantastic machine
We have only had it a short time but it is a great machine. Cleans clothes really well even on the 30 and 60 minute washes. Super quiet to the point we couldn't even hear it running (it must be levelled though). Hot and cold hoses. The clothes come out soft and near dry. It does add a few minutes to the wash sometimes but I don't see this as an issue as its doing what it needs to for a great wash. Good quality machine. Very happy.

Really Impressed.
We have been using water saving front end loader machine at our rental property for 4 years but found it too small and opted for a Laundromat. At last when we moved we bought this gem. We have never been so impressed with its efficiency and ease of operation. We processed three loads of 8.5 kg wash in one evening and this machine is a true marvel. It's quietness in operation and auto shut of on completion is an excellent feature. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a new washer.

Stop!!! Dont do it!!! - Part Two
I should have mentioned as part of first review that I use the quick wash 30 minute cycle or I should say anything from a 34 to 43 minute cycle!!! I wouldn't want to try a longer cycle based on this it could take all day to do one load!!! I can't get an answer from Fisher and Paykel as to why this happens - perhaps you purchased it so its your problem??$$?? - When I purchase my next machine which could be VERY soon based on my experience with the product so far I know I will definitely be crossing Fisher Paykel off my list for any products. Please find this helpful and try another brand - you wont regret it!!!

Very Dissatisfaction!
Just bought this machine after reading heaps of great reviews, got it home, installed it and looked at how great it looks. Carried out the test cycle, and as expected water filled super quietly, then once on spin. Screech, screech, screech. Will be on the phone to Goodguys tomorrow in hope for a refund or exchange :(

The best washing machine
After all the drama's we have had with our lg washing machine.we had brought a product care plan from Harvey Norman they were great they said we can have a new washing machine.so we went down to Harvey Norman had a look around and put in some more money and got the fisher and paykel front loader.we have only had it a week but so far so good our clothes are really clean! Unlike the lg where we always had brown grit all over our clothes.

Excellent
I really don't understand any bad reviews about this product. ITS GREAT!!! It is soooo quiet, doesn't make any noise apart from the water filling. My machine does at least two loads every single day, I hardly need to use any cycle apart from the 30 min quick wash. The clothes are always clean with NO FLUFF. It's great

So far I am ecstatic with this washing machine
I've only had it about 6 weeks, but so far I am loving this machine. My last machine was an Electrolux WSE7000SA and it wasn't fabulous, was extremely noisy and hard to stabilise. I hadn't owned it 5 years and had to replace it and I am really pleased with the replacement. It's a great size for my family, is much much quieter and has the optional, much shorter "every day" setting which I use ... every day! I would thoroughly recommend this machine so far and if it starts to fail, I will come back and report on it.

A lot of noise when spinning!
I read reviews on here and decided to buy it. Please note when the machine has no clothes in it and if u run a wash cycle, its going to be very quiet. The moment u add clothes and when it soins in last 6 minutes its just like a tractor. A lot of noise and shaking and vibrations. I have even called a fisher and paykel technician to come out and have a look. It is not bloody silent when spinning and makes a hell lot of noise. Please do not buy!

Best purchase and love it
Read all reviews on here before i purchased it. I have the 8.5 machine. I have checked a couple of times to see if its working its so quiet. Has about 15 different washine options. It is so quiet after my last machine a LG.
You can add a garmet or take something out. My daughter has to wear a white brimmed hat as part of uniform. Put it in as hand wash it didnt loose shape. Has 15 and 30 min quick washes. I purchased the 8.5 and my king doona washable fits in. Also has a programme for these as well. The Sales person said this is the most...Read more

Love it
I love this washing machine, I've had it for a month. It's really quiet. The noisiest part is the water filling, and then the washing slopping around. I leave laundry door open when its on, and I forget its on.
It has a big door, and fits a lot on it.
Its simple to use. The one hour wash is great. The washing is coming out very clean.
I'm very happy with it :)

Excellent and very happy with this investment
This is the first review have ever bothered to do - I read up on this site before purchasing thus really wanted to help others... Really clean clothes, smooth and quite operation (and on wooden floor)! I am really happy to do washing in this machine my last machine also F&P ran for over 15 years with no repair which is why I went F&P again and this model has a engine guarantee for 10 years... the front loader saves on both water and power too which is a great investment! We are a family of five and the 8.5 kg size is also magic no more doing 2 loads a day! Thank you Fisher & Paykel, love your work!

Cycle times are a lie
I purchased this machine because it has the ability to do a quick wash (30minutes), it also does a rinse cycle (25minutes) which comes in very handy when you have an infant at home. I have used both cycles before and not really paid attention to the time but always thought it was longer than was stated on the machine. Last night I urgently needed to wash some new items before I could put my baby to bed. I used the rinse cycle which stated '25 minutes' 45minutes later it finished. I stood and watch the 8 minutes remaining on the machine for over 6 minutes before it counted down to 7 minutes. I have since used the 30 minute cycle which also takes more than 30 minutes. Do not trust the cycle times.

Mine is not listed.WH2424P1. I had this machine delivered three hours ago. The spin cycle sounds like something is loose. I've tried average loads, small loads, and empty loads. Its not as loud on an empty load but still makes noise. Also I have to turn the power off if I want to change to a different cycle. Is that the way it should be? The lock is not on.
