It is very difficult to make an accurate diagnosis of the specific cause without the benefit of inspecting your appliance.
If you would like to arrange a technician to attend to your refrigerator, you can call our 24-hour Customer Care Centre on 1300 650 590 and a Customer Representative will assist you with service in your area.
Alternatively, you can search for service in your area by using our online locator at the following link:
http://www.fisherpaykel.com/au/support/service-appliances#request-a-service
If there is a Fisher & Paykel technician in your area, a form will be generated which you can complete to submit a service request using our online booking facility. Otherwise, the locator will provide you with the contact details for the Authorised Service Centre(s) near your area.
Not my problem but should be checked if in warranty..then again it should last being an expensive fridge. My niece had that problem and fridge was changed over ..no questions asked but that was a while ago.

Partly pull out the freezer draw and you will find it at the bottom right corner of the unit. Stupid place to hide it. I had the same problem. Good Luck.
Yes!! It's in a stupid place..I wrote mine on my paperwork to save any future hassle..

Good morning...We have had our refrigerator for approx 5 weeks... The noise of it is driving us crazy..It was quiet when it was first installed..but not now!! When it is running which seems to be all of the time it is making a horrible vibrating/rattling noise which appears to be coming from the rear of the fridge. You have to turn the volume of the television up to try and drown out the noise .Before I contact for service can you give me any hints. What is the problem? Thanks.. Cheryl

I have also had the refrigerator for about the same time. It runs very quiet, with none of the complaints you have with yours. As far as vibrating is concern, it's very important that the refrigerator is level as instructed and that all feet is adjusted correctly and in proper contact with the floor.
The only thing I have to complain about is the design of the freezer drawer which is hard to open and close. It is also making a slightly grinding noise. All the advice I have been given indicates that this is normal. To me, it indicates poor design and should be rectified.
I would definitely take your problem up with F&P as it is definitely not normal. GOD LUCK.
Thanks!! Yes!! That was the first thing we did was to check the level & according to the spirit level all good..spoke with the serviceman today & he feels it may be the compressor has come adrift during transportation which apparently sometimes happens..I have booked a service call for Friday 13th..might be lucky..gotta go now..fridge sooo loud can't concentrate..Cheers!!

Does the RF522ADX4 comes delivered with the handle on?
3 answers
Not sure as I had it delivered while I was at work. Now that it's wet season again I'm waiting for it to fail again. If you live in a dry climate this might be an ok fridge.
It does.
Didn't your have a handle?
Thanks. With the handle it is 2 cm wider than the doorway.
