Poor service and continue to break down

Twice now it’s continued to run and we have to turn it off from the switch. The service team is impossible to get a hold of and always two weeks away. I bought all my appliances from F&P and there’s always a problem

Purchased a new F&P dishwaster, got it home and installed and end up with an error (F40), after over an hour on hold with their so-called customer service, its a 'common' pump fault, and I need a service call ot, which I need to wait a week for??? Are you serious. Its going back to the shop tomorrow and i'm getting a more reliable brand.

Hours on hold is not acceptable

Started calling F&P Tuesday & wait time advised 2 hours. Are you kidding? I sent email, still waiting Thursday/Friday so I contacted European & Singapore Customer Service alerting to the problem of long hold times.... On hold this morning for 10 minutes... Simply not good enough.

Been on hold for almost an hour and a half! Staff member spoke to me for about 10 seconds and then said he had to transfer to the right area and put me straight back on hold. Will never buy Fisher and Paykel again if this is how they treat customers!

I had been on hold for over 2 hours waiting for a operator.
My fridge was faulty and the repair man actually broke my fridge he broke the covers on the top of the doors and scratched the tops

Bought a washing machine 2 days ago, first time I used it today, wont rinse, wont spin, tells me to clean the filter now I am left with a locked washing machine full of clothing, have been on hold to customer service for 1 hr and 15minutes now, this is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!,

What a mistake

Bought a new double draw dishwasher. Big mistake. The directions for use are so complex that it took us hours and several calls to their online technicians to be able to use the dam thing. Then I had to write my own user manual. Won’t be buying any of their products in the future.

Impossible to get through on the phone yet they send emails saying we have to call them. Then they don't respond to our emails. Issues could be fixed alot quicker surely.

We recently bought a Fisher & Paykel oven. Had difficulty installing the trays. Made one phone call. Explained the problem. They sent a service personnel the next day and he installed the trays. The work was covered under warranty as it should be. No paper work. Great After Sales Service. From now on, my preference will always be Fisher & Paykel for all appliances.

Washing machine broke down within warranty period. A few days to get service call. Five hour service window offered. Technician replaced almost all major components, declared it dead. Two hours on the phone to warranty replacement. Warranty boss decided they needed to try something else. Waiting a week for this. Followed by another 60 minute wait on phone "Your representative is presently busy (well, so am I....) Our staff have been alerted to your call and will endeavour to keep your time on hold to a minimum". Almost certainly will need a new washer. Probably another week. Worst service possible.

Terrible Product, Worse Service

Condensation Dryer purchased 3 months ago and from the beginning knotted sheets into tight wet bundle. Logged complaint with service, and technician sent out. Claimed it worked, but did not know if the machine should reverse during bedding cycle so said someone would call me. Noone did. Many calls later and emails sent with video showing issues, I am told I have to take another day off work for another technician to come out. Takes forever to get anyone on the phone.
Lodging complaint with fair trading as they leave me on alternative. Don't ever buy from them.

Awful service and crap washing machine

2 year old front loader, this is now my 3rd issues and its in the extended warranty period that F&P still get the call to fix from Extended warranty people. Im 4 days after my initial call and cannot get anyone to call me back to at least make an appointment to look at it, I have rang 6 times always get disconnected or wait over 1hr and they still dont answer in the Extended Warranty department. Never again will I waste a dollar on anything Fisher & Paykel. The one star was being generous. Time to unwrap my spare washing machine I purchases last time the box broke down as I presume this will be another 4 week fix.

the worst customer service I have ever experienced

Bought a new dishwasher 6 months ago, product was dropped off and despite paying for installation and removal of the old unit The new unit is still sitting in its wrapper! Every time I call to arrange this to be rectified it is I am either on hold for over 2 hours and end up getting hung up on or I am given the run around! The most frustrating experience, surely no company offering customer service can be this incompetent.

Absolutely sick to death of the alarms on the smart washFisher and pykal washing machine. Whether it is out of balance or the lid is open or anything else you have to instantly stop what you’re doing and attend to this needy washing machine because it alarms constantly grating at your nerves. If Something is wrong don’t
worry I’ll find out about it soon enough without a constant and irritating beeping. When this one dies, let’s face it theyre designed to I will be looking elsewhere

My washing machine suddenly stopped working, 2 yrs old . Called went on hold 40 mins . Earliest my machine can be seen 12 days . Never again terrible service very very disappointing

It took about half an hour to finally speak to someone. I was after a spare part for a old fridge, the lady didn't sound interested at all and when l asked how long was going to take to receive the part she just hung up on me.

you will have to keep calling them or call consumer affairs and let them know you are getting onto consumer affairs they will then take action.I had to call consumer affairs and they were excellent so try that

when you call fisher & Paykel tell them you have given them a week to get the problem fixed or you will contact consumer affairs I was told that they have to do think in a reasonable time at you expect and if they dont consumer affairs will take action Hope this helps

We have the Fisher Paykel DishDraw DD60 purchased October 2018. Over the course of the following 12 months, we had constant issues with the bottom draw starting automatically, often when the draw was empty. Four service calls later, the entire unit was replaced. So we have a brand new unit but we are still having issues with the bottom draw starting automatically. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hi there, my issue is with their range hood that keep switching off. Their service centre is appalling. Very long waiting times, 45min Plus. We have just replaced it with another brand and is in the process of getting all Fisher & Paykel appliances out of our house. Never want to deal with them again.
