Sold a lemon
In Jan 2016 I brought a 2012 Ford Focus Ambient Hatch with 25,000 on the clock, it had been shipped up from the Central Coast, it was great to have low klms. But soon figured out it was because it was a lemon with a doggy clutch, gear box. It prob had its Clutch replaced when I got it as it was a bit slow picking up but we thought it was because it was a smaller motor than we had before. With-In a short time my first clutch was replaced then a touch up for that, then in 2017 another cluch and a touch up. In Dec 2017 it needed a new gear box the...Read more
y had the car for days, the worst thing about my experience is the car yard knew and ford knew they were selling lemons and they still sold them. Gave you finance and didn't give a damn. Now my car is 6 years old with only 55,000 on the clock and I cannot sell it and if I trade it all I can get is $4,500. That's only half the money still owing on the finance. As we now know from the ACCC report and there huge fine to ford they all knew the clutch was no good but still sold them. Shame Shame Shame. The service dept is really hopeless and they couldn't care less.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Disgruntled customer
On 20 April, I was so disappointed and upset with the service I received from both Thomson Ford and Kia Parramatta. I had originally taken my Kia to the Kia service centre in Arncliffe (as this is closer to my home) as the volume button on the steering wheel was broken. The satellite navigation was also not working properly. Upon returning to Arncliffe I was told they couldn’t fix the sat nav as it was not factory fitted. They did fix the volume control on the steering wheel. We had bought the car new from Thomson Ford Parramatta with the exist...Read more
ing sat nav in it. The car is still under warranty. We then contacted Parramatta Thomson Ford and they told us they would fix it. We left the car there all day to be told that they couldn’t fix it but Kia Parramatta could it. I then rearranged a third day to travel to Kia Parramatta. I explained to the service person that the problem was that the sat nav was not connecting to the steering wheel. The problem had deteriorated from when I had taken it to Arncliffe. When I arrived back at 5:00 I was told that they couldn’t fix the sat nav as it wasn’t factory fitted but they had fixed the volume button on the steering wheel!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! The Kia person then took me back into Thomson Ford and I spoke to [name removed] and [name removed]. They said that they would rectify the situation by getting someone to contact me ASAP. Because of the inconvenience they had put me through they said they would send the sat nav people out to my place. I still haven’t heard anything. Very disgruntled customer.Similar opinion? Mornington Ford Servce Centre
Dropped my daughter's Focus in for its service at Ford in Mornington this morning. Wonderful staff, customer service was fantastic. Didn't speak down to me as a woman. Explained everything in layman's terms and scheduled further warranty work on the spot with loan car to be supplied. Big thumbs up!

Service what service
City ford at Zealand Sydney the service is terrible, no one calls back, there seems to be too many vehicles booked in and staff over stretched.
We had our car serviced and they missed a major fault we had to bring car back 4 weeks later, staff did not engage with us either initially or after follow up.
Based on our experience we will not buy a Ford again.

i wont go into the pathetic story but NEVER have you car services/fix/touched by Ford Service Centre in Batemans bay/Nowra or Coffs Harbour. I am now PAYING my local mechanic instead of having Ford touch it again - sure its free and under warranty but its sort of like a conversation with an asian call centre ... oh so polite but oh they have not fixed your problem and have no intentions of moving away from the script and thinking outside the square

Pacific Ford Maroochydore disappointing
Have owned 6 brand new cars and never had so many unprecedented costs in such a short time. Advised these costs are "normal". Flat battery, tyre issues, leaking brake fluid, computer system updates all in less than 18 months. I can not understand how the service staff have so many awards for service...they are very rude, dismissive and have a very low level of customer service skills.
Will never buy or recommend again.

Titan Ford Melville WA terrible
My wife and I took our cars here for 2 x $159 services.
Upon arriving we were cornered by the Service Advisor - Thomas. He wouldn't let me out of the car, standing at my door preventing me from opening it. He bombarded me with questions and tried everything he could for me to spend extra money. Extra for a engine flush, extra for a cooling clean-out, fuel additive ect ect, you name it he tried to sell it.
He then said the $159 is just an oil and filter change and that's it, it's very basic.
When I mentioned there was a vibration com...Read more
ing from the front wheel he said it would be an extra $80 to have a look at it??? What ever happened to a safety inspection and report. If they had done this then I probably would've authorized a repair of that area. I told them not to bother, I would take my car to a suspension centre who provided a free check. When I went to pick up the loan car, it wasn't there. They took 10mins trying to find it. When I handed over my drivers licence for them to copy, they handed me back someone elses????? Titan Ford - Never again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Best service we have ever experienced.
For the past 12months my wife and I have been looking to purchase a new Mustang GT and haven’t really been impressed with some of the dealer’s sales methods. I have been around the automotive industry all my life and have had many dealings with dealers, both working with and buying from. A lot were not pleasant. We recently purchased A Mustang from Troy and Ray at Heartland Ford. These guys and the team took all the pressure out of buying a car. They listened, advised and gave us the time to make an awesome choice. Were both glad we waited so long to find the right team. They made purchasing a car a truly exciting experience.

Absolute dissatisfied
Worst experience ever, my brand new Ford ranger 2016 model paid for in September 2016 yearly service September 2017... Out pocket $373.00 car comes back can't unlock aluminium sliding tray and filthy grease all over lock of tail gate. Now here's the thing I used the tail gate only a couple of times because of an accident (not to do with car) had back surgery, then driven lightly when got a bit better, I do have some tools in the back but only for storage reasons, only had 3000km on the clock, it was still brand spanking new when I put the car i...Read more
n for service. I didn't give them the key for the sliding tray as I wanted my tools to be left alone, so they broke the lock getting into my tray. When I spoke to the Ford guy on the phone about the broken lock and the dirty thick grease in the tail gate lock they said we don't touch those areas but on the service forms all doors doors, bonnet and hatches are inspected and lubricated? I know this doesn't sound like such a big deal to some but this is my pride and joy and not to mention very expensive as it's the wildtrack version with the aluminium roller door like sliding tray. I will not use pacific Ford Maroochydore ever again and I am still taking this further. I now wish I didn't buy a from these filthy scum.. Not to mention now there's a recall the ranger might start a fire if you park it on dry grass. This company does not deserve your money.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

ELN at Tuggerah is a disgrace to the FORD name!
ELN are happy to bend over backwards to get a sale and to take your money but that's where the customer service ends.
The owner obviously has plenty of money to brush his customers off rather than instill professional qualities in his employees when it comes to customer care.
I have never been so disrespected by any business, especially the owners rude and callous attitude when informing him of my privacy being breached.
They also had my new mustang for the whole day for the 3,000km check up only for me to pick it up with the proble...Read more

Dealerships will blatantly tell you they don't care
Bought a mustang. Delivered dirty.
Radio stopped working and had to leave Lane Ford in Mandurah due to incompetent workshop (left car sitting there untouched whilst I waited at dealership). Service manager rude.
Phone Ford Australian customer care and no apology, did not resolve.
Not interested in buying another Ford. Have bought several other makes and models with fabulous customer service.

he dealer ([name removed]) took it in as a warranty job. One month later, the issue has returned intermittedly. I emailed the dealer and explained the issue, asking how I had the issue rectified to completion. I was extremely offended with the tone and words when their rep called and said "What's the drama with the car?". I don't like the product or the customer service. There is no DRAMA, and I'm certainly not being dramatic. There are certainly a lot of issues.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Titan Ford dealer Brookvale. Great service, helpful staff and good value.
We bought a second hand Colorado recently and were impressed with the friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency of the team at Titan Ford on pit water road.
We got a good deal on the car but the team also listened to our concerns about the internal cleanliness of the truck (it has clearly been a workie truck) and they had it spotless for us when we collected it, they had the outside shining too it was almost like picking up a new truck!
A special thanks to Bruce from the sales team who went out of the way to be helpful. We would return to this dealership and would recommend them with no hesitation.

Ford is still a lemon in any decade
After reading the various Ford horror stories below, I thought I should add my own experience.
Back in 1985, I purchased a brand new XF Fairmont Ghia 4.1 litre from Brewer Ford, Miranda. I loved the shape of the vehicle and thought that since it was the third generation of that model e.g. previous XD & XE, that Ford would have eliminated any design/mechanical faults. WRONG!
Almost immediately I found that the drivers seat would not lock in properly and as such there was movement in the seat as the driver accelerated or decelerated, when this...Read more

Lemon,dangerous & waste of money
Well had 4 transmission/clutch repairs, stopped while doing 60km telling me it's not in park, same with hatch just popped open.they damaged it but haven't fixed it,was told engine light on cause need new spark plugs at 60,000 not 43,000 but it on & off for 18 months, tyres worn out due to clutch/trans but wear & tear. Many more issues. Rudest staff ever. Devastated as 2 disabled sons to cart around. I played $23,000 cash with Ford knowing the issues

Ford dealers
Ford Fiesta, the Fiesta is not fit for purpose, due to the defective transmission, which "Ford" has acknowledged by offering the extended warranty giving a total of five years or 160,000km, to cover repairs on the clutch and input shaft seals on the transmission, as well as the transmission software calibration. To this time I have heard of no 100% solution for this defect.

Terrible! Never buying ford again
Bought a Ford Focus, have had clutch replaced, cruise control panel replaced twice, clock spring replaced, repeated failure of the Bluetooth system of the car and was told there was nothing to be done about it. It has now been recalled for a fuel tank issue which could cause the car to go on fire but my dealer think it's ok to wait a month to do the repair without even checking if there is any immediate risk and refuse to give me a loan car despite the inconvenience to me due to Fords inability to build safe cars. Dealer assured me there were no transmission issues with the care before I purchased. Just terrible do not touch ford!!

Crap
The guy that sold me the car at coral coast ford Bundaberg was the biggest pervert ever. He demanded I buy the ecosport even tho I said I wanted the focus and then he started getting creepy then when I bought the car he was messaging me asking me to go have drinks with him. And then they bought my car off me cause it was demand unsafe and couldn't be driven anymore before it would kill someone.

I signed a deal with a ford car yard. I wont name and shame just yet. Took it (kugar) for a test drive drove well and negotiated a deal i think was good for myself. Vehicle was in stock have not heard anything from the salesman coming up to 7 days. Apart from the contact initiated 2 days ago asking when i could collect my new. No real answers given other than ford had to release it. How long should i have to wait is my question and am i being unreasonable to think more contact should have been made?

They have asked my wife to pickup 5:30 pm ... it was dark in AUG 2016. She couldn't check properly. When I saw the car i have notice rings have damaged badly and it was issue with front tier and also break issue (making noise) and wheel alignment require.
We took some photos and send them by email a day after.
When they have checked in workshop their mechanic told me who give this car road worthy? when i said your company they kept quiet and that mechanic never came back to us.
After 6 month still we have issue with break and it is the disk issue, also rings and tires never replaced same issue, they just did wheel alignment.
I love ford territory this is my second territory but I told every one and I recommend everybody "Never ever buy from BAYFORD IN EPPING. They are NOT trustworthy and NOT honest".

Ok. Has anyone paid for a quote on a vehicle? This would be the first. mmmmmm after reading these reviews. I feel my dad was been scammed.

Hi, You never pay for a quote on any repair on any car. You should promptly go back for a refund and report this person to fair trading. No work was undertaken so this is a con.
