I had a small block but was still looking for somethig different. I really liked the look of the Gallery Living homes and with [name removed] help i was able to get a 4 bedroom home with 2 living areas on a small block. He suggested to add some colourbond panels to break up the long sides of the house and i was very pleased with the outcome having Hebel, cladding and colourbond on the exterior walls, so i have ended up with a house that stands out and looks great. The building process went very well, [name removed] the supervisor was great and ...Read more
kept me up to date at all times and the house was finished weeks ahead of the orgininal hand over date. There was only some minor things to fix after hand over so over all i am very happy with the whole process and the cost came in under what i had budgeted for. A great home to live in..Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Home built for our block
We had pretty much given up on building a house because things like orientation and lots of natural light were important to us. Unfortunately, in order to get those things for our block we were looking at needing an architect, which was way out of our price range. By chance we went down to visit some display houses at Aldinga and came across Gallery Living. We were impressed by their display homes natural light and had a quick chat to Russell Slater (salesperson) who really 'got' what we wanted. Within a few minutes he drew up a house design th...Read more
at was similar to what we had been hoping for but couldn't find in other builders standard plans. And just as importantly we could afford to build it. We moved though the contract stages well, and entered into choosing the colours and fittings. This was okay. We found you really needed to know a lot about what you wanted before hand, and didn't felt very guided though this part of the process. Next it was time to get started. Andrew Obst, our site supervisor, clearly kept great control of progress as barely a day went by that someone wasn't on-site (and believe me we checked!). The house went up really quickly, and the quality was very good. At handover there was just a couple of very minor things that needed to be corrected. Everyone loves to tell you the horror stories of friends that built a new house, but all in all our experience was very much hassle free and we're really pleased with the outcome. Energy efficient, good quality, design, layout, priceSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Waiting for our home to sell,we were getting anxious as we had found the home we wished to build, it was with the help of [name removed] that we chose the Picasso 235 modified by Gallery Living. After looking for months at display homes we kept going back to Gallery Living Display,s. Construction started just before Christmas, what a great present. The open plan living, the Northerly aspect, the different building materials all assisted in our decision. All the tradesmen were easy to relate too, polite and very efficient. The on site supervisor...Read more
was exceptional, keeping us up to date, pointing out things we hadn't noticed, and allowing outside tradesman to complete their work. All the tradesman that worked on our house complemented us on the design.Loads of people told us it was very stressful building a house, we didn't think so.Moved the garage onto the house so we could have internal access, added an extra metre in width to living areas. The building process was a smooth transition, as was hand over with [name removed]. Would recommend Gallery Living to any one.Extremely happy with our choice and the finished product. The skillion roof, energy efficient, the design and the facade that they came up with by moving the garage onto the house.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Design, quality and price
When we decided to build our first home, design, quality and price were the 3 criteria most important to us. After visiting numerous display villages, homes and builders, we chose Gallery Living and haven't looked back, We had fallen in love with a block of land that had potential views and soon found out that with this came some challenges- slope, shape and a host of other limiting factors (not to mention council restrictions) .

Want relaxed, sea side living, Gallery delivered our dream home!
From the outset, Russell at Gallery Living worked meticulously with us to build our dream home. No request was too much, no matter how many times we came with new idea's, or new room size requests. He worked with us to alter the design of their plan to suit our specific needs, leaving no stone unturned. This sealed the decision to go ahead with Gallery for myself and my husband. No other builder had really cared about what was best for our style of living, for our family, until now. Our experience was further enhanced with the efficient ma...Read more

Instantly impressed
We were instantly impressed by the Gallery Living Picasso display home. Without being an overly large house, it gave us that big spacious feeling, particularly in the combined living area with its soaring ceiling that fills the heart of the home with light.
We have now lived in our Picasso for about 6 weeks and we are loving it. Since moving in we have come across a few minor faults, most of which have already been rectified, and we are confident that all will be completed in the very near future.

'First Anniversary'
One year has flown past. I am absolutely thrilled with my home. Russell Slater (Blg Design Consultant) was patient and helpful and has a keen eye for detail and perfection. Very soon after demolition, the team was on site and began work. Access to the block was difficult, with Andrew Obst (site manager) nothing was a problem, he maintained communication from the beginning to the end. The team were professional, helpful, and polite. All the tradesman did an excellent job, a high standard throughout, The painters did a perfect job, amazing. Th...Read more

My Journey with Gallery Living was an Easy Experiance!
I built the Dali Villa design from Gallery Living range. My journey with Gallery Living was an easy experiance from the first contact with Rhonda Lacey in the planning stage. My investment plan was to construct a dwelling that was in the affordable price range and would suit the current real estate market conditions. The builders contract and documentation during the construction period was a painless exercise which most clients don't experiance when building their own home or investment property. Even the handover was painless with Jim Gro...Read more
pe defaults were minor which were made right prior to the final settlement cheque being paid. Look forward on working on the next project with the Gallery Living team when I am financially ready to sign another builders contract. Easy, painless and affordable investment home.Similar opinion? Gallery Living - What a pleasurable experience and fantastic product :o)
Well I have to agree with the other reviewers in shouting the praises of Gallery Living. The whole experience from start to finish a great one. This was our second build and although the last experience was not horrendous (different builder) this experience far surpassed the last. From the moment we walked into the show homes [name removed] listened to what we wanted he looked at our block and where other builders had looked and said yes that will fit [name removed] took into consideration the geography of the block (we have an irregular shape...Read more
d block) and added details that would ensure that the house only benefited from the block irregularities. We went into this build knowing what we wanted and although the house is based on the Da Vinici 280 we flipped part of the house, added walls, moved and added doors, windows, added extra power points, an outdoor shower, fridge plumbing etc - the little things that we didnt take into consideration the first time around. I am officially in love with the finished product The house was affordable, environmentally responible and ticked all the boxes and far exceeded our expectations. The build process was smooth and the supervisor was always on hand with to answer any questions we had. Finished product is amazingSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

fantastic house, awesome service!
We are really happy with our new home. It looks great, has so much character and it turned out just the way we had pictured it! It was such a nice experience working with Russell in the planning stage. He helped us modify our floor plan and make changes to suit our family and budget. No request was too much for him and it's obvious that our happiness and the quality and style of the house was as important to him as it was to us.
Once building had started, the house went up quickly. The after care was good too. Within a couple of days of us moving in anything that needed tweaking had been done!
great service, great looking houses that are energy efficiant, quick build time.

Wonderful first home build.
Our experience with Gallery Living was great. They were well organized and helpful. All team members answered our queries promptly and aided in any amendments with helpful suggestions.
This is our first home and we are very happy with the finished product. Our added niceties and the thoughtful design changes that were suggested by Russel have made the house into the home we love.
We definitely recommend using Gallery for your builder.
Helpful and insitefull service throughout the design, approval and build phases. Great value for money. Sight supervisor had the knowledge and experience to ensure ease of construation.
Not Gallery's fault - issues with ETSA and getting electricity. Be aware

To those who are now living in a gallery living home, how are you finding heating and cooling costs? Given the larger windows in these designs, do you find it costs more to air condition in summer and heat in winter? Any positives or negatives you could provide would be appreciate thanks.

We've only been in a short time plus we added solar when we did not have it before. All our windows are double glazed except some louvres so I hope it should be reasonably good.
Imhave only been in my home for 4 months. My windows are also double glazed, except the louvres. I have found the north facing windows keep my northern living areas lovely and warm in winter, compared to the south facing bedrooms/laundry/bathroom that a very cold in comparison. I ensure that the blinds are down by about 4.00pm to retain the heat. I have not had any permanent heating installed at the moment I have only been using a portable convector heater and my heating costs are low. With the arrival of spring I have found that there is already considerably less direct sun coming through the north facing windows but I am yet to experience a summer in my home.
I have found our house to be a lovely warm house in winter, we only had our heating on a minor amount throughout the long winter of 2016. Now that summer has arrived I'm finding the house to be warm in summer. If it's 25 outside it's 25 inside. This is great when it cools down at night, your house quickly cools down too, they don't retain the heat like brick homes. But there is no way you could go without air conditioning in the metro area.
