I bought a Hoover hand steam cleaner from Godfreys, unfortunately before I read reviews about it. Turns out the machine does not do what it is supposed to do which is clean. Even though under Consumer Law I am entitled to a refund, Godfreys will not honour this refund law and and are still trying to make me go away. Completely dissatisfied with their total lack of interest in customer satisfaction and their continuing to sell a product that they know does not do what it is supposed to do and then not stand by that product. Will never deal with them again.

I bought the Hoover stick vacuum from this shop. I have taken it back 3 times to use the warranty ( nearly every three months since l bought it) now the shop has said that l will get a replacement but it has been three weeks and no sign. They said it would take maximum 3 weeks. I have called and the owner of the shop hung up on me because l asked him to follow up. Very rude, terrible customer service and terrible vacuum. Don’t waste your time buying from them (Godfrey’s Joondalup in perth).

I placed a click and collect order and they were really quick to have it ready for me to pick up the next day. Really happy with my purchase and cannot fault them.

My daughter has an intellectual disability. She approached this mob for a vacuum cleaner. She is on a disability pension and they talked her into financing a 1300 vacuum cleaner, ON finance. All she has is a pension. Disgusted and disgusting behaviour. How does someone who has a pension qualify for finance? How does someone who has 1 hard floor room require 1300 vacuum.?
On other review sites, not confirmed, i see an assertion this vacuum wholesales for 300 aud.

Went to Godfrey’s Maitland service was great staff very helpful they told me how to look after my cleaner so that is is well maintained

We experienced the best services from Godfreys Midland in August 2018 when we took our Sauber Intelligence in for our free "12 month" service that comes with the machine. Adner "ROSS" Nobrega knew our Sauber very well without us presenting any purchase proof (cause we forgot the receipt!). He completed the job on time; cleaning all parts including all the wands, replacing the filter, changing a wheel under the case for us and etc. Our machine has been working so much better since we got it back. We are very impressed by these people at Midland and are greatly appreciative of their professional and friendly treatment we received. Thank you very much and all the best with your business.

I bought a stick vacuum cleaner dodgy assistant. got it home didn't charge properly. was crap. thought i had saved 50.00 took it back same dodgy assistant. gave me one they had used on the floor and charged me fifty dollars more. wont ever go there again. tryed to get refund no go very bad service. wont recommend

I have always bought from the Greensborough Store over the years and I have found the staff to have been extremely professional and very nice to deal with.

Brought $1200 vacuum cleaner 12 months back. Had issues soon after and had the problem area sent for repairs. Over time new faults have appeared and basically describe the product as a 'lemon'. Returned the vacuum only be told i would have to wait 3 weeks for repairs and a evaluation on if the faults were my own fault. ( who treats a 1200 dollar cleaner poorly). The assistant, although nice, couldn't offer any loan or when i said i'd purchase another machine, a discount of more than $20
This is the Devonport store ( not on shop location list ) and will not purchase or recommend Godfreys to anyone. Travelled to a near by Harvey Norman store and considering my options

Postives:
Looks good, plenty of tools, 9 metre cable.
Negatives:
Leaves black marks on tiled floors (you have to go round with a cloth and wipe them up). Tools not simple to use, roller does not pick up Labrador hair efficiently.
Conclusion:
Do not buy, paid $299 a waste of money, have gone back to The Shark Navigator, in a different class.

Must review that Godfreys in Camberwell has really picked up on it's service. 10 years ago I was really hard pressed on a hard sell. And had been avoiding Godfreys completely. A few years ago I was happy to find service had improved and no hard sell. Today I spoke to a staff member who was the best I've ever communicated with. No hard sell. Well spoken. And sorted me out very quickly. Saved me a lot of time and a lot of money. Well done! Will only be working with Godfreys Camberwell from now on.

I was looking for assistance as my knowledge was limited with vacuum cleaners. Fortunate for me I went to my local Godfreys at Tuggerah Spa Ctr...Alex had assisted me throughout, his product knowledge was outstanding...a genuine asset for Godfreys.

I needed vacuum bags and to my own knowledge I was clueless about the vacuum bag number needed for my Hoover Aura.The Salesperson knew exactly what I needed and it was a very quick service and was left happy.

I have been trying to get some sort of response but no one has contacted me in regards to shipment. Their website states that they ship within 1 business day and it’s been 3 business days and no email. I’m very disappointed and will not be shopping with them again.
