Very friendly and informative. Patient and willing to answer any question. There was a demonstration of a couple of models, so that we could compare. An explanation was given of different brands and what to look for.

Noarlunga Godfrey’s never going back
Sales staff only want you to buy the product that is expensive and has bad reviews! when i asked them for a product they didn’t have one and said no other stores would have it, in the car park rang another godfrey store who went above and beyond to help me.
noarlunga lie and really have bad customer service! if only i could give them a negative number!

Absolute Rubbish!
Hoover stick vac rubbish, warranty rubbish, refused $200 refund, the vac had no suction from new. Customer service rude, store manager Morley Market, shop 13b/238 Walter Rd, Morley WA Rude.

Excellent customer service
Noarlunga Godfreys have by far exceeded expectations for customer service going above and beyond. After changing ownership the past few visits have been met with understanding and quality service. I have had on going issues with a machine I purchased 5 years ago. They ensured a positive outcome was reached. Would not hesitate to purchase from Noarlunga Godfreys in future for the after sales service alone. A wide range of products in store to choose from.

Perfect Carpet Extractor at cheapest price!
I bought the Werthiem pro SC9500 carpet extractor. The sales representative at Godfreys Gepps Cross, SA helped me with the machine and demonstrated it as well. Best product and service.

Stay Away As Their Products Are Faulty!
I bought the ultra light hand stick and it doesnt work properly sometimes it stops and doesnt do anything battery runs out quickly so iys a faulty product!
Rang the head office and was told past the cooling off period so has to be sent away and dont know how long it will take?
Customer service is rubbish not helpful rude as and they treat you like crap and they just want to end the call!
Would not recommend as I am stuck with something that works only when it wants to!

This is simple and within my budget.
I am a miser and always after cheap but best product. Reality check of life is that not all expensive products are great and not all cheap products bad. The classic example is my vacuum cleaner from godfrey, I am really happy it is simple and easy to operate and does wonderful job and so satisfying. Nothing can go wrong and at the end of the day I don't talk anything bad about it because it is giving every cent of my back. I really love my vacuum even if you will offer me a free Dyson I would sell it on market place and still use my lovely godfrey vacuum. Hover zenith vaccum.

Supporting a local store
Have been to Godfrey's at Underwood Qld several times to buy and get warranty jobs done on purchased items. The (new) staff there are just terrific. They listen to my requirements, made very helpful suggestions incl. in one case where they suggested a cheaper machine ( Bissell Steam Cleaner) to do what I was looking for would be better value for the amount of use it would have.
They are pleasant, cheerful and helpful, a local store worthy of strong support

Dreadful custoemr service!
This store is happy to take your money but will NOT a help you when something goes wrong with your product. To add insult to injury they’ll be downright rude and obnoxious as well. Buy from this store (or Godfrey’s anywhere) at your peril because there’ll be no after sales service - they wash their hands of you and force you to contact the manufacturer of the products you bought for help. They pressure hard to make you buy, them dump you if you have issues with the products they sell. Godfreys are proving why bricks and mortar stores are a thing of the past! Head office won’t help you either, they want to grab your money and run!!!

Faulty Machine
I bought a vacuum cleaner from Godfrey and it's still under warranty. I'm unhappy with the quality of the vacuum as I had to return it to the store 5 times since I purchased it. There was a suction problem since I bought it. The first time they changed the hoes. The vacuum worked for a bit then the issue occurred again. Everytime we took it back all they did was change the filters and charge us money.

They disregarded this payment and assured us that it was fixed. Finally the fifth time a problem occurred in the floor tool as it wasn't working. We took it back and requested a full refund as the machine is clearly faulty and not of acceptable quality. They told us that they will not refund us and they will send it to the workshop. We left it and refused to pick it up. I took the matter to fair trading, they spoke to the area manager of Godfrey's superstore Campbelltown. He advised he isn't willing to consider a refund as the problems appear to be relating to the vacuum cleaner not being well maintained correctly. What pathetic excuse is that? It isn't the first time in my life to use a vacuum cleaner. I vacuum once every week and I do keep my machine well maintained. I didn't pay $379.00 for a faulty machine that wouldn't last me a few years! If he does claim that it's my fault for not keeping it well maintained, why were we not advised about our terrible usage everytime we took it to the store? I had a Hoover machine that was a basic model. It still works fine until today.2 comments

Exemplary Service by Brett @ Canning Vale Store
Usually being quick to moan, we thought we would give a positive heads-up for Brett at Godfreys Canning Vale store. My wife and I have bought several products from them (e.g. carpet shampooers, vacuum cleaners, steam mops, consumables, etc), over the years, and return because we feel that Brett gives exemplary customer service. Brett is knowledgeable about his products, demonstrates them enthusiastically, gives an honest assessment of which product he feels is best for your particular needs and is never pushy. This appears to be quite unique amongst most sales staff, nowadays. We feel that Brett is a very valuable asset to the Canning Vale store and highly recommend Brett and the Canning Vale store accordingly.

Poor Customer Service Ever!
My experienced at the Godfreys in Moore Park Supacentre store was horrible.
I purchased $150 Vacuum last 21/12/2018 that does not have good suction and does not clean well. Today 22/07/2019, I went to the store with the vacuum I bought to see if they can help me or do something about it. The salesperson who was an Indian guy says it you probably didn't clean the filter properly all the times. I explained everything but he didnt even listened to me and he said its no longer warranty so we can't do anything about it. I was so annoyed on him.

From the second I walked in, i was hassled by the staff to ONLY look at one particular type of vacuum. I was asked extremely personal questions about my financial situation, When I said I wanted to think about the purchase, I was asked why, and then offered "great deals" if I purchased there and then. I proceeded to go over the road to another electrical company, and the staff FOLLOWED ME OUT THE DOOR after i got into my car, to see where I was going! Safe to say the other electrical company got my $400, as I felt hassled and bullied upon entering your store. Again Godfreys have not let me down, my hoover stick failed and I have taken back to Mount Ommaney store and Matt was very attentive and after showing him the fault he did not hesitate to confirm it would be fixed under warranty and booked it in and I received a confirmation text after 1 hour. fast and awesome service Matt. I took in my mums vacuum cleaner in because the motor was noisey to the Morley store. I paid 49.95. I get a call a few days later to pick it up. They couldn’t do anything’s about the motor because there were no parts available because of its age. I paid an extra $22 for a belt and a new filter. The filter was basically a micro fibre cloth cut into a rectangle to fit and I had many spare belts sitting at home. Essentially I paid over $70 to do something I could have done myself for about $5. Poor customer service
I came in for a click and collect today only to be greeted so rudely or rather not being greeted at all. After checking my ID upon collection Sarah asked about my surname and said you don't look like a Donaldson because of "waved her hands around her face." She continued to ramble along and laughed while I was trying to finish up and leave.
The remark said earlier was very unprofessional and discriminative and to say the least disappointing.

Yet another Customer Service FAILURE !!
In nutshell ....
1. Bought my machine from very helpful salesman who promised the world.
2. Battery failure
3. Requested assistance in store (Purchase store that is)
4. Promised that replacement was ordered, waited weeks for promised battery under warranty.
5. Shop actually physically closed down. (picked up machine before closed doors)
6. Told that anOTHER store (not even a Godfreys store) would sort warranty! Still no battery
7. Several attempts to contact Godfreys from online contact forms, then by email
8. Still no response, eventually phoned head office

We are very sorry about the delay in the arrival of your delivery.
Australia Post have advised that they are severely inundated with deliveries and are experiencing up to 2 weeks delays in processing freight.
They have been moving items manually to expedite the process meaning freight has been moving without triggering scan points.
They closed all depots across their network on the weekend for new freight and worked triple shifts to clear their floors of all delayed articles, they are still currently working through this.

I received my QuickStart vac and powerhead on the 9/4/20. I unpacked and was immediately unhappy with the product, finding the suction on carpet unsatisfactory. I have made over 20 calls to your number. Numerous calls give a advise message to call back. Twice when I did get through I was told somebody would call me back this has not happened. I was told Morley store was open and that I could return the product there but some franchise were “funny” about taking online orders back. I was advised if this was the case to contact your call number again. I have been trying without success and am not receiving the promised call back. Please Advise what my course of action should be.
