My flight booking was cancelled. HCF Won’t pay difference for new fares. Lots of loop holes. Don’t buy it.
2 1/2 weeks to call and let me know they wouldn’t pay. I always travel with insurance but I won’t use HCF (Allianz) again. too many exclusions that shouldn’t be exclusions

Too good to be true
I got an international travel insurance quote on my phone and was surprised to find the extremely reasonable cost - until I realised nowhere had I been asked for any pre-existing conditions. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if I had tried to claim against it. I bet they would have thrown any claim out.

I tried reporting problem through complaints form. Complaints form also doesn't work.
Health insurance quote forms work no trouble.
Am annoyed because Im an hcf member and theres meant to be a 20% discount.
Im going directly to qbe insurance instead

Great Experience With HCF Travel Insurance
My husband fell and had 15 stitches whilst in the USA. With the HCF travel insurance we were covered for all expenses which were easy to claim when we came home. Would totally recommend HCF. I think they can be a little more expensive than other travel insurance quotes but after our experience I wouldn't use anyone else.

Web site doesn't work
I got quoted a good price but the application form doesn't fit on the screen, there is no scroll bar, no resize option, and the arrow keys don't work. So that's the end of it.
I have Windows 7, latest IE, etc. Other web sites work fine. It's just a poor web site.

IE is buggy, so it's likely to be a browser issue; try that site using Firefox or Chrome browsers, see if that helps.

The discount is the reason I took this travel insurance. Problem is it is not comprehensive and has holes. Check every element or just check star rating of other policies and get that. I will never get HCF again
