We have a tiny apartment with a 16m2 bedroom that is the only room that needs vacuuming, so we got a light weight vacuum as it use would be limited.

The battery life for this product rapidly declined after purchase, and just after a year it stopped working all together.

Unless you want a limited vacuum to use for a short period, id spend more money and go with something else.

Worked very well to begin with yet 18 months later the battery failed I called Hoover & they were asking $99 plus postage.... which the whole thing costs the same .... very disappointed as I thought they were a good vacuum brand. Sad that I have to dispose of this adding to the environments chuck away world

I use this every day on wood and carpet! I have the cleanest floors in town! Lol!!!! Excellent. And I also sew, so lots of threads all over carpet - no problem. Need to empty frequently but no problem. I would not hesitate to buy one and I bought from Godfreys on payment plan! Easy Peasy!!!

I worked for Godfreys for the past 1.5 years and I have used the machine in the office where I worked. We get 100s of complaints about this item. Godfreys and Hoover who are the same thing in Australia and NZ will deny there is a common fault with the battery however this is not the case. The battery begins to fail at the 13th or 14th mark, even in the office the one we have failed. From someone who was dealing with these issues on a daily basis, I will recommend that you do not purchase this item. They also sell it without a swivel head to avoid a patent issue with Dyson.

I love my new Hoover vacuum. I have 2 indoor cats and this machine is powerful enough to remove hair from carpet and vinyl. You can manoeuvre it under furniture with ease. Battery operated so no need to keep changing power points. Battery is long lasting and machine is easy to use and clean.

It is light to use.quiet to use.It will work on wooden floors as well as carpet.very strong suction with turbo's. Easy to maneuver. Easy to store .has a good charge. I do my whole house 4 bedrooms living room kitchen bathrooms. .I couldn't do with out it.I recommend it as a second vacuum cleaner.

Handy easy to use, good value for money at $149 from Godfrey’s. Battery last for 25 minutes. I’m tall and it is a perfect height for my dodgy back!! Charges quickly and love the turbo head picks up everything!! Delivered quickly ordered online and was here in a couple of days.

After waiting for ages for it to come in then it doesn't work all the time~
You can have it fully charged and start using it, but if you turn it off after a few minutes it won't start again! Usually have to wait a few hours for it to start working again!!

It is light and manouverable, easy to set up and use. I have used it on carpet and tile floors and it has powerful enough suction to clean both well. Battery carries a good charge and does all ares comfortably. Probably one of the best purchases I have made. Would recommend this to others.

i have Hoover Ultra Light vac,this has to be one of the best purches i have made,very easy for me to handle doing the stairs,picks up just about every thing,i brought this as a second vac as my other to heavy for stairs,i would recomend this vac for those who have artharitis in there hands

I bought this to vacuum the car, it has been doing an OK job. It's fairly light and being cordless it makes the job easier to do, then with a conventional vacuum cleaner.
Wouldn't recommend as a replacement for something to do thick carpets etc.
Got it half price, and see it advertised regularly. So wouldn't pay full price.

The best thing about this, is that I don't have to lug around a big vacuum or worry about where the next power point is.
Can clean my little unit, and the small compartment does hold a fair amount. Happy with the way it performs, not quiet but not loud.
The only thing I don't like is that it can't stand by itself, but that isn't a major issue.
It easily cleans my carpet, and tiled areas.

I quite like this vacuum for quick easy cleaning jobs. It's easy to use and seems to suck up things very nicely. My only drawback is it doesn't take much for it to need emptying, the compartment is quite small but maybe my house is horribly dirty. Very easy to manoeuvre and the head detached to help reach any of those hard crevices, not too noisy about average for a little vacuum. In the past I have been cursed with stick vacuums but I've been pleasantly surprised by this one. So far so good.

Great suction easy to use. Nice and light like a zippy little car. Perfect for those in between cleans and quick run arounds. Have found that the barrel is sometimes difficult to place back on. Easy to remove and clean the roller head. The kids use it to do their rooms. Hangs tidily on the wall.

So happy with this little cleaner, it cleans much better than my barrel vacuum cleaner, so light and easy to use, amazing with dog hair! I would recommend the ultra light to anyone looking for a lightweight cleaner which does a good job. Customer service was great and it was delivered in about 8 days

Convenient and very easy to use. Was a great item, but now won't charge. The battery life is not good lasted just over 12 months is difficult to buy a replacement cannot buy locally. Have to go through the internet. Just out of warranty. Please explain why do I need to write more words. This review site is not good.

This Hoover is very light weight and easy to use. Perfect for quick clean ups but perhaps not powerful enough for a main vacuum. It works well on wood flooring and carpet. The battery life last long enough for me to clean my medium size 2 bed apartment. Easy to store, easy to use.

This vacuum is in 2 pieces that are clipped together with a small piece of moulded curved plastic. if this breaks then it will not work. My machine broke while I was vacuuming a hardwood floor where no undue stress was being placed on it. I am waiting for Godfreys to advise if they have a replacement part. It is a very poor design so i would not recommend this machine. The performance was satisfactory.

My husband bought it for cleaning our house. I've already used it on the carpets, vinyl floors, couch, hard to reach areas, car - you name it! It's very handy and compact. Easy to clean, too! When cleaning, I would disassemble the rubber & filters and give it a wash. Then it's ready again!
