Good for inbetwen Vacs but have to clean head or it ceases to function
Purchased from Godferys, Nov 2016. Works well but head needs to be dismantled & roller cleaned on regular basis or performance declines dramatically. Has tendency for dust to accumulate in wand so have to pull apart to clean. Is light, easy to maneuver but noisy. Works OK on timber & carpet when it isn't clogged up.

I'm quite smitten with this machine.
This is the best vac I have ever used! It is light, compact and just amazing! It is powerful enough to vac up all the dust and dirt in the carpet, yet, miraculously does not pull up the rug when I vac it. I don't even understand how it does that! It's defying science! Great machine and only about a third of the price of a dyson.

Great for those quick clean-ups!
I purchased this after seeing a promotion on TV for half price at $149 over the weekend so I raced on down to Godfreys and bought one. Was so impressed with it I purchased another one the next day for my son and his wife. So much better than getting out the bigger vacuum and setting it up. Works really good. I have dogs and a mixture of hard floors and carpets.

Was good
Began with as being a great vacuum until the power head stopped working. The vacuum was great at clearing up all my dogs hair cleaning under furniture window sills and the car and all other hard to reach places. It it take a while to recharge after going flat. The power head stopped working and was covered under warranty dirt git into the electical connections which is a fault in the design.

Good kitty litter spreader
Terrible on timber floors. Flicks kitty litter all over the room instead of sucking it up. What it does suck up drops out when turned off. Not enough power to pull it into canister. So before turning off have to point it upwards so litter drops into canister. Works better on carpet but still not great.

Very handy to have for small area
We have bought this vacuum cleaner because the old one we had was so heavy to move around and the cord keeps on getting tangle up. We only have a small carpet area and thought its handy to have a stick vacuum.
We bought this at the Godfrey's while they had promotion, and thought its worth trying a different brand (since we are not willing to pay so much for a Dyson vacuum, even though we know Dyson is a good brand)
Points as follow:
1) handy especially if you only have a small area to quickly vacuum
2) see through glass to see when it needs to be emptied
3) its not too noisy when you use it
4) easy to handle due to its light weight

Great and easy!
Firstly I should say thank you to everyone here for leaving reviews here. I purchased it after checking review here and tried at Godfrey. Wherever I went, everyone recommended only expensive Dyson, but I wanted to try out cheaper version as my 1st stick vacuum.
It's working good on hard wooden floor without scrach as well as carpets in the rooms. I can work on this every 2nd day as quick job. With this stick vacuum my little 6yo boy helps me whenever he drops crumbs of his biscuits or chips. So far I'm very happy to use even with half price!
Easy to get out the roller and scrap out hairs as my hairs are so long. Also the filter can be washed in watm water but should be totally dried out before putting back.

This is ok, it could have better suction
I bought this half price recently and had wanted a stick vac for some time but was put off by the weight of the Dyson (and price!). So I read some reviews, tried it out and bought it. It's ok, it does the job but it's not as good as I was expecting - if my kids drop mandarin seeds or small clumps of rice on the floor it tends to push them around and I need to lift the vac up and run it backwards to suck it up. Anything wider then about 1.5cms stands no chance of making it up, this may be standard for this type of vac. If I lower my arm then I t...Read more
end to get more In the vac. All in all it's better than seeping and I have managed to get my kids to do it a few times. I do still wonder if I should have just bought the new slim Dyson but at $300 it's twice what I paid. I would recommend people try this one and a Dyson to compare. All round it's fine and does the job for now.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great cordless vacuum that punches above it's weight!
This is quite a powerful cordless vacuum that's great for quick clean ups around the house every few days. Works well on carpet, tile and wooden floors and the battery lasts longer than expected. Don't think it's worth the retail price of $300 as the quality of the plastic body feels a bit cheap but when it goes on sale for half price every now and then it's a bargain at $150 or less!

Stick Vac
Fantastic little machine..Great suction..Easy to use very light and has a great battery life..Also has a continuous button so you dont have to hold to the on button down.....I use it on wood carpet and lino..Battery life is approx 30 mins ..I would recommend this for older people as it is so light. .Also a great price purchased from Godfreys at a fraction of the price of the other models...

I wuv me vac
Really powerful & easy to use... Just dont vac within 30 cms of a sock or you'll realise why they never match. Figured out if the unit ever stops, it means the rollers at the bottom ain't turning and u just re adjust it. Bought one for mum and one for me... we are both very happy

Look no further, this is the one
Agree with all the positive comments above. This unit is really powerful and picks up everything. The unit comes standard with a non-swivel head which is fine but because it was on sale for $149 I bought the 'clean up swivel powerhead' as an extra for $49. Let me tell you that with the upgrade to the swivel head the whole unit is perfect. I can't recommend the swivel head enough. It means that the head can always be flat on the floor, the head is actually slimmer and it has led lights on it so you can see into dark corners. I actually look forw...Read more

Who needs a Dyson?
For gods sake, people stop spending money on Dyson. My Dyson stick gave up the ghost after 3 years. Just stopped working. I was looking for a replacement and low and behold, discovered this little beauty. Aesthetic is actually sexier than my weird reddish Dyson. Yes, sexy! Now I have just potted some plants at home and got potting
mix all over the place (don't ask) anyway, having used my higher Hoover earlier, I did not want to pull it out again. So off to Godfreys I went and unpacked this little beauty and used ur factory charge to clean up after myself. Suction, manoeuvrability and effectiveness, all 10. Don't second guess yourselves people, just buy it.

So good we bought three ...
No, we're not mad. We bought two for ourselves, and one for our daughter. All were $149 from Godfreys, and were advertised as being half price. We got one, and then the other two once we saw how good it was.
We use one at our beach house, and it's good at picking up sand etc on hard floors. It's a big house, but no issues with length of charge. Not yet, anyway!
Compared to Dyson, these are just as good and half the price. Perfect for hard floors and dog hair. Easy to put together, charge and store.

Cant live without it
Very easy to use over large tiles and light to maneuver. Is very quiet and has extra attachments that also comes with it to get in the corners if need be. Battery lasts for a week before needing to recharged . Quick and easy to use and would now be lost without it.

Efficient for the price but don't expect cleaning to be fast and detailed.
Vacuums are like families we are responsible for our own destiny and when we all make that one important purchase we must leave no stone unturned in ensuring we make life's domain as clean and hygienic as possible. I purchased a hand held Hoover for smaller spaces around the house along with car cleaning duties and l find that even though it's not the most powerful it does the job efficiently. It is above average for the price and power and can be used by anyone who can hold minimum weight restrictions..in simple terms it's not for a fully fledged house clean but a nifty little brother who does what you require.

Sometimes you get better than what you pay for
What a great little vacuum cleaner. Paid only $49. Little ripper. We all prefer using it to the big Dyson I have considered the Dyson handheld but after our experience with the big vac I was reluctant to spend the money. For $49 I could hardly go wrong. It does overheat If I try to do more than 3 rooms but for a quick whip around the kitchen family room it's perfect. Really easy to manoeuvre, a tad loud but no more than other vacs. Love it.

Godfrey G.Hoover
Hi Kylee,
There may be an issue with the battery, PCB or charger.
We would recommend taking the machine into your nearest Godfreys store, when the re-open, to be booked in for further inspection.

1 year later and our unit is as good as the day we bought it. For those that are having issues with it cutting out I would suggest cleaning the roller in the machine head. Very easy to clip out and yo... Read more
u will need some sisscors to cut the hair out that accumulates in it. This is not a fault, it is just basic maintenance that should be carried out on any vacuum. When too much hair wraps around the machine head rotor brush the unit will stop working to avoid the engine burning out. Cut the hair out and it will operate fine. It is vital that you empty the canister out regularly and every odd time pull the canister of and apart and wash it. With common sense maintenance this unit will serve you very well.
