Drops out often, doesn't connect often. Very slow at certain times. For all the times I have contacted you its never your fault, always some other party. Very very poor attitude.
Right from the start of connecting to NBN it has been bad. It cost me hundreds for you to supply a service that isn't as good as ADSL. Perhaps you can do something positive and recommend a quality service provider.
we haven't had a drop out for a while every thing appears to be great both my wife and my self use the internet at the same time and have no problems what ever

Dropouts are extremely rare.
Service is rarely down.
phone backup is always available although some of the Iinet assistance has people whose accent is difficult to understand.

We are on the basic deal, slowest speed, and for us we have no hassles streaming movies, and anything else a couple of ordinary uses do. We haven’t had a problem at all. Been with this company since it took over from Adam Internet. Had Adsl2 with them previously. All good.

Our connection is slow and doesn’t seem to cope with multiple users. Lately we are experiencing constant drop out while streaming. It’s frustrating. We have been loyal to your company but really considering looking for a better internet connection

Our service has been very reliable with no dropouts and only a loss of service once or twice in the last year for a very brief times. It was restored without me reporting it. Speed tests over time have all revealed results very close to the 12/1 plan that I am using.

very happy with speed of NBN (50mbs consistent). When rarely there is a problem, the help centre is thorough, professional and always sort any issue out but hardly ever the need arises. Thank you iinet. Also their mobile sim only plans are the best by far, using the Optus network.

Internet service was reported to iiNet as being down following the recent storms. The fault reported was not logged. A second report had to be lodged, before it was passed on to NBNCo. The iiNet operators did not appear to have a good grasp of English regarding the technical faults that were reported to them. e.g. they could not grasp that the breakage of the phone line from my house to the telephone pole was the cause of the loss of internet/phone service. I also found it difficult to understand the operators, as English was obviously not their first language. This was very poor service to a customer of 18+ years.

Yes, have used speedtest (with 12 Mbs / sec), Takes a shockingly long time to load a web page on both wired and wireless computers. and wireless frequently drops out, especially when casting a video to TV from an adjacent room.
And it's only getting worse.
The same when using Mobile phone talk via WiFi. Constantly losing the mobile connection, which disconnects the phone call, often many times / call. A visit to Telstra told me to disable this mobile phone option, which they did.

This is a 400% difference and cannot be justified by saying they have the best Customer Service, which I typically use only with outages. NBN has made no difference after 2-3 years, but it does offer another point of failure, and indeed I have had several lengthy outages. I was given a one month loyalty credit for one month at 55Mbs- after speaking at length to Cust Service - but I wanted a permanent upgrade for the same fee. Read more From what you've mentioned, it sounds like you're attempting to run multiple devices at the same time on a 12/1 connection. We'd suggest that the best way forward here is to isolate the connection down to a single device, connected via ethernet cable to the modem. Restart the modem and then test the connection - if it performs normally, then we know that the amount of devices being used is overstretching the capabilities of the connection. Therefore, upgrading to a faster speed is required. Even though I am a legacy customer they refused to even entertain the possibility of matching any of the offers of their competitiors. The reason they gave was "because we are better". Suffice it to say they offered me a deal if i was to upgrade my plan but after running the numbers it still wasn't worth doing in the long run. I suffer frequent latency and have to reset my router due to disconnection on a regular basis. They havn't been the same since TPG bought them out. I will most likely switch soon.

So when I called iinet every day for 90 days they eventually told me they were going to not supply me with internet anymore I finally assumed they didn’t really try to fix it as they relied on Telstra to fix it. Telstra it seems had put me on a lower than average connection and iinet didn’t bother or couldn’t check anything. I guess that’s what you get when you sell connections through agencies

Read more With regards to the connection, NBN connections are resold by all providers, with NBN acting as the wholesaler. Some connections use legacy copper lines, such as FTTN, which did previously belong to Telstra but are now owned by NBN; this makes them responsible for its maintenance and repair. The only service we now still have (but no longer retail as the product has been retired) is our legacy ADSL Off-Net services, which are resold Telstra ADSL connections. -LeoI have had the NBN for a good few years now and even though I have had a the very occasional drop out the overall service has been great. Any issues I may have had have always been dealt with immiediately so customer service is A+ Keep up the good work.

Good, fast, and reliable internet service. No problems streaming high-definition video. I never come close to using all my monthly data allowance (500GB). Customer service is good, they will ring back if they're busy when you call, although I've only needed to ring them on very rare occasions. I've been with AAPT/iinet for more than 10 years. (Had problems with iinet's mobile service so switched to a different provider. Amaysim is excellent).

on Problem is when the battery on the nbn goes flat when it was installed nobody told about a battery

Has been fast and reliable in 2021, good for normal internet use and streaming, no complaints. Previously had dropout issues last year that required support calls and regularly restarting modem.

very reliable, occasional dropouts but not for a long time now. Prompt repair when we got fried by lightening. Always great to deal with, personnel so helpful, courteous and friendly. It seems that it is a bit slow at the moment 12.0 Mbps download and 1.04 Mbps upload

sometimes seems to slow up a bit, but not frustratingly slow. Can't say there has ever been dropouts or needing to reset it as I have had in the past. Vodafone mobile service is useless in regional areas around Wodonga, no reception on road or in Beechworth or Corryong.

I have been with Iinet for just over 17 years. We use the basic NBN package and have occasional loss of internet. Usually fixed before we need to call. Recommended.

I have been with this IP for almost 15 years. If ever there was a problem. it was fixed immediately. The staff are knowledgeable and professional. The NBN is a dream, fast and I have had no problems at all.

I have singed contract for 24 month and My sons HSC also in this period and Covid 19 online studies too. Line dropped out many, many times and ask for help but did not have proper solution. Finally I had to buy Telstra WIFI dongle for my sons school work. I wonder how they become Number #1 in NBN service?

I've been with iiNet for a decade now and during this time I have changed addresses many times and their service has never faltered. Great service at a fair price. iiNet has recently invited me to try a cheaper plan (!! who does that?! isn't that awesome?! {:^)), which I did but in the end declined the offer as the service didn't suit my needs. But the whole trial process was clear and easy to undertake. What stands out for me, though, is the customer service. The attendants have always been helpful, patient, polite and solved all of my issues (a very small amount considering the time I have been with them) in my first contact. It doesn't even cross my mind to search for a different provider. Highly recommended!
