Will I ever get connected?
I have called iiNet every day for the past three days waiting for my Internet to be connected and I am getting no answer. Looking for other providers right now.

Perfect service always

Am enjoying the fastest internet I have ever experienced.
The level of service is worthy of praise and I have been with the same ISP for at least 15 years and that says it all. In every instance where a problem arose a solution was found and usually with the minimum of fuss and delay.

Always friendly, always get the job done
I have been dealing with IINET since they began in Australia. Customer service is what keeps me here. Others may be cheaper but nothing beats the friendly effective service you can get here 24 hours a day.

Great Customer Service
Love that we can call them any time. Usually the wait isn’t too long, they always sort out my issue as best they can. Even when I missed payments because of COVID-19. I’ve called when my internet is down and usually they get it back up immediately

Trying times with WiFi
My connection has suddenly become very unreliable. Briefly, after I spoke to the very polite technician, my service worked. I am now almost continually on 4G. I begin going to settings each morning and lose WiFi walking from my bedroom to the kitchen. That is very disappointing. I may have to consider a different service.

Wi-Fi issues are considered to be internal ones but we do have solutions! A little bit of testing and troubleshooting can go a long way so we;d recommend giving the following article a read: https://help.iinet.net.au/improving-wifi-signal This will help you fine tune your Wi-Fi so you can have a stronger signal and be able to use your Wi-Fi more effectively. seems to be an efficient service, reasonable value for money
I find it fast enough for our needs. we have mobiles and Internet with iinet
we started off with aapt, and then it merged with iinet

Good speeds, Great help desk.
No dropouts, ever. But peak times speeds are slightly slower. Help desk was very helpful and fast. Price is competitive when compare to other providers. Overall we are happy with the service.

Go else where!
Generally has been good, but for the last month my internet has been horrible, Massive latency, less then 5 mbps no where near 100 mbps or 78.5 typical evening speed they advertise. Latency has also been a major issue, typically the connection reports 20-30ms ping but the last month has been between 700-1000ms!
Have been keeping a history/log of the issues, will be taking my complaint further and changing to a provider they can deliver what they promise.

No phone line for 5 hours
I was porting a number from another provider to iinet today. I was told the process would take 30 minutes to an hour. After nearly 3 hours of downtime I called iinet and was told it takes 30 minutes to THREE HOURS. I have now been waiting 5 1/2 hours with no phone line for my business. Switching to iinet is seeming like a big mistake if they can't even handle the basics.

Porting numbers can take time depending on the provider that its coming from, the wholesale systems being used and where its going to. In some circumstances, the work needs to be manually completed as it traverses through the wholesalers systems, which can add even more time to the process. Just don't bother. They are no better than anyone else out there, despite claims
Their Fronteir website crashes all the time. Their phone customer support just could not care less.
Like another review mentions: They make Telstra look good. I will change my provider as soon as life normalises again.
Isn't it amazing how everyone suddenly blames Covid-19 for their own inequities and short comings? POOR POOR POOR Iinet. Put your little Irish fellow on that rocket and send him to the moon.

It’s great
Have been with iiNet for about 2 years now and have only had one issue where we couldn’t use internet as it just didn’t respond even though connected. I called and had to leave my details for a callback that they said would be over an hour. I wasn’t thinking we would get the problem fixed that night. The issue was fixed within minutes of them calling me back within an hour so I was really Pleasantly surprised. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

I had a few dropouts (believe due to current situation with many people working from home in Australia). The Company response was very good apart from very long waiting. Customer service was polite and professional .

More than satisfied with service
We have found this service excellent there have been no drop outs that I am aware of and any issues with we have had with the service have been reasonably minor and fixed in a timely manner.

The ADSL connection was OK from iiNet end, but the copper line I had was bad.
I've got a medical device that is not working with iiNet NBN connection. For this reason, I had to change reluctantly the internet provider. But feeling that I am part of the iiNet family, left the emails in care of iiNet, did not move them to the new provider! In the 16 years since I was their customer, if it was any problem, I just called the brilliant customer service, and always the problem was resolved in the most professional way in the shortest time possible.
The email service is very good, as it is the whole iiNet internet provider. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone.

Rubbish company, wouldn’t cancel my service then charged a massive fee ! DO NOT SIGN UP
After trying to end my service due to covid-19, I’ve lost my job and my home and iiNet continued to charge me a extra month servicing and $150 cancellation fee as if time ain’t hard enough

I am assuming you are already with iinet and you are complaining about your speeds. Your question hasn't outlined if you have ADSL, NBN, CABLE, SATELLITE connection so we can't give you a reasonable answer. If you are on ADSL and are a long way from the exchange or the exchange is overloaded these things will slow your speeds down.
