Promised aboved 40mps sitting at 10 max as it cuts in and out absolute nightmare to try and get things rolling can barely stream a movie this is very appauling

We are now happy with the NBN basic package because we have just started using it being at home.
Happy with NBN basic as we've started using it, being at home. Had earlier issues of frequent drop-out of Wifi but it's rectified? Connection is reliable hence iiNet is recommended.

Great
NBN cable fault. Dealt with promptly bu NBN technicians. Call centre informative. Telstra and Optus would not connect to my premises. iinet had the NBN up and running in less than a week.

iinet Professional Service and Support
Since we swapped over to the NBN we have had little if any drop out. We use the internet connection to stream Netflix and Youtube and find it to be very reliable and reasonably quick with little buffering. We have multiple devices i.e. Ipads, laptops and 3 smart TV's which get fairly high usage with two grandkids living with us. I have been an iinet customer for over 10 years and can honestly say I have never had any cause for complaint. Each time I ring requesting support, mainly due to my lack of understanding I am treated with courtesy and patience, my questions are always resolved with a minimum of fuss.

Great customer service
The NBN technicians failed to connect me on their home visit and then would not advise when they might resolve their problem and connect me in the future, leaving me in limbo and no access to my toolbox. Iinet customer service staff got on the case, went out of their way to fix everything. Thank you iinet.

Great service from iinet when connecting to NBN
I can honestly say I have had no problems with my NBN connection since it was installed some three years ago, iinet talked me through all the relevant procedures I had to attend to at my end and made the connection very easy. I have neighbours and friends close by with other carriers who did not have the same experience, in fact quite the opposite.

Iinet has the best consistent customer service that I have come across.
I have had dropouts recently which the nbn technician was able to trace and fix. Iinet were able to identify the fault and organised a covenient time for the technician to come to my home.

Don't use their service if you're renting.
Please note for all the renters, their 24-month NBN contract is only counted when you don't move out. If you do during the 24 months, you will restart the contract for another 24 months. The worst thing is that I wasn't even told that there is contract break fee when closing the account due to moving overseas.
Great job, iiNet. You successfully lose one more customer. I would never come back to iiNet.

The 24-month terms previously existed to recoup costs subsidised into the overall life-span of the contract term. To relocate a service mid-contract would mean we'd have needed you to re-commit to a new 24 month agreement or otherwise pay the contract break fee associated with the old service. Living with Iinet
My connection has improved greatly in recent months, dropouts seem to have disappeared. Dealing with company is easy as they take time to listen before finding solutions. Even the menu system is easy to navigate when you call. Most importantly, I could talk to someone locally.

Every day Necessity
We have been with IINET for seven months. In that time we have enjoyed constant quality Internet. We have not had any issues with this service. Recently our modem was destroyed by a lightening strike. I contacted IINET and the arranged a replacement modem free of charge. You can't ask for more than that.

Won't talk to you if you want to cancel
Service when connected is fine. Moved house recently and switched to a different provider. Called iinet and as soon as I mentioned the word "Cancel" I would get "transferred" and hung up one. When I was able to eventually speak to someone they said they would send me an email and never did. Emails to their billing and other departments go unanswered. This process has been going on for months and they still charge for the service.

I have always been very happy with the service I have received from Westnet (iinet). The support team who mostly speak without strong accents are always very patient and never rush the session. I appreciate knowing 'wait time'.

Whatever happening around the world with Coronavirus, it effected me & my business aswell. Like everyone else i have started to work at home! Not being on unlimited plan my data ran out 9 days before its meant to be. which never ever happened before, guess i used more this time.

She didn't even appreciate of being with them that many years. When asked if possible to talk to someone higher maybe they can understand my situation. Her response was 'sorry no one is working & they won't be able to help you out as well'. I had no help & was very disappointed with her service. If iinet is going to treat their customer like this in this very hard time, specially they are with them for that many years. I think i am better of changing my service provider. This plan is typically for those who aren't looking to use a lot of data and are more focused on using the connection to maintain the landline connection. It offers 50GB over an NBN12 plan boasting a 10.3Mbps typical evening speed. It also provides an included Netphone service that offers free local and national calls. This is absolutely a plan that we can arrange and it's most certainly available to FTTN services.
The only 2 qualifiers for this plan is to firstly have NBN available and hold a seniors card.
