works really really well!!
because my landlord is a scrooge, he won't pay for the final connection to have NBN to this place, so, i've gone wireless. must say, the 500g 4G option with spintel is very fast, very reliable! I give the modem a reboot once every 2 weeks or so. i've recently had to start working from home, the quota wasn't a problem and the connection held up really good!! Honestly, I'm getting 30-50mbps even in the evenings. It does fluctuate. I would sometimes like another plan with perhaps more data, but so far 500g per month is enough. just have to...Read more
monitor my usage. A plan with 1T would be a nice option for a few extra $$. Can't fault this service though, its a good, very fast and highly reliable alternative to NBN & at a reasonable price point. actually, in some cases you could argue its more competitive! Well done!! oh, and, no lag either!

Great until the equipment stops working
It was a great service until their modem stopped working. Language barriers from overseas call centres didn't help. They promised to call back "When their computer was working" They didn't!!
They kept charging my card each month whilst the equipment was not working, meanwhile the bushfires kept us busy here but months later they denied that there was any problem. ??? I asked a simple question please check their "computer" to see when I was last able to connect and I knew it was 4 months ago but they refused to even acknowledge that??? Sad .....Read more

Reviewing our over phone service
Could not use data on our 2 new services with Spintel. Spoke with Marjorie and she had us sorted in no time. She was efficient, polite and made a couple of calls back and forth to ensure our services were functioning properly. In the end it was a simple matter of rebooting our phones. Thanks Marjorie hope we get you again if we another issue.

In between numerous call backs to me over 2 days,
The problem was resolved, a great result.
Hang onto this person, she is indeed the voice of SpinTel.

Still with Spintel after almost a decade
I have always found Spintel customer service team to be polite, friendly, patient and helpful and take the time to sort the problem out on the spot. Recently I've been frustrated with not getting call backs regarding moving my service to a new location where my phone number was moved prematurely. But i finally got hold of the right person today to sort it out - thank you so much Michelle! As to my old Basic/200GB plan - has been good enough for regular internet and streaming, but since we started working and schooling from home have upgraded to 25/unlimited GB.

Almost perfect !
No business is perfect...you expect something like the internet to go on the blink from time to time but with Spintel...it is so rare. Speeds are great.... prices a excellent.... wouldn't think of changing !

Works great! Great service.
No drop outs. I found I was able get help quickly when I needed it. I am elderly and not easily assisted but the perseverance of on line helpers was absolutely amazing. They persisted and I now have everything working so well!

Excellent value for the cost
We have not had any issues or drop outs. Good speed for WiFi. Pleasant and efficient customer service. Patient customer service, helped at my speed of understanding. Reasonable with enquiries, we are very happy with the product.

Works well comes up to my expectations
Service has not been in very long but so far so good. Occasional drop outs but they may well have been due to power losses at my end.
No issues. Keep up the good work.

Broadband not working
Hazel was great! Fixed the problem - very happy with the service as we now have our connection back up and running. Wait time on the phone was very long but glad I have a result .

connection dropping out and completely stopping sometimes. So I spoke with Hazel today and she was very helpful and patient in trying to fix the problems for me it looks like my dsl cord maybe has some issue but is still working sometimes.

Needed a step by step guide of connection
after having no internet for a few days for no reason finally got a call back and the women who helped me stepped by step was excellent.....I do hope that I do not have any further issues

This is much better than we had before

Hazel in customer support was extremely helpful.
Customer support is very helpful. I was referred to Spintel by a neighbour. Its a better provider with no drop outs. Highly recommend. I've never had any problems and my neighbor and myelf got a discount for referring a friend.

Fantastic service from the call centre.
Great telephone service from the 13 number when I had an issue.

Great customer service
Had trouble setting up the nbn and changing providers but the tech support was very helpful and patient and spent a long time talking me through the technical aspects i had trouble with.

A committed support person
Today's date is 28/04/2020 and I have not had an email service since 13/04/2020 despite a number of phone hookups with the Spintel support line. However last night I had contact with a lady named Flor (Philipino) who tried very hard to resolve the issue.

Stay away! Worst company, customer service and connectivity
ADSL2+ - runs at 2gb or less!
Mobile Broadband - basically non functional.
Customer service - disrespectful, unknowledgeable and just useless really.
This company is the bottom of the barrel when it Comes to telecommunications.
Massive hold times, multiple phone Calls to resolve the simplest of issues.
Constant handover to other operators as no one has any idea what they are doing.
Disrespectful and threatening when they know they are in the wrong.
Do not... Do not!!! even consider this shamozzle of a company!!!

Hi I signed up to Spintel NBN100 and billed pro data couple of days after activation. My connection was connected on the 17th April and I am still getting speed of 45mb,I spoke to the a staff and was advised it take a full day for the speed to change to full speed. Why am I paying for NBN100 package at NBN50 speed? Please advise ASAP.

I am having issues with the supplied router, (Netcomm NF18ACV).
Connection problems, WiFi and Wired across several devices.
Cannot access the Web Interface for the router without rebooting it.
Already contacted Spintel, but they didn't seem to understand the problems, so was not helpful
Contacted Netcomm, (Casa Systems) who's only response was to update the firmware.
This is not possible as the Spintel Firmware does not have the Update Firmware option.
I'm at a loss!

How should i send the Account number?
Please do not tell me that my connection is OK, I know, The internet connection is NOT THE PROBLEM.
The problem is the Local Network connections have intermittent issues, Both wired and wireless. The Biggest issues is I cannot access the web interface regularly unless is reboot the router. I have internet connection during this time.
I cannot update the Firmware, (Netcomm recommendation) because the Spintel custom firmware has prevented that.
