Have had a great service and connection from spintel last 18 months, speed has been like other ISPs, up and down but overall has been stable. Just waiting for the higher speeds to come out now.

Great telephone service from the 13 number when I had an issue.
The company has provided great support from their call centre.

Spintel from Zero to Hero
Initially I had issues with my NBN service, paid for NBN100 and was only getting getting 45mb and constant drop outs which was preventing me from working from home. Raised a case with Spintel and Con’s assistance, turns out to be a faulty copper pair of wires from the pit to my house thanks for nothing NBN!!! This was rectified and now I am getting full speed 93mb down and 34 up.
I am now a happy camper, thanks Con and the team for your help.

Great tech support when I got through, but wait times too long
Hazel walked through and fixed my problem, then gave me info for self-help if any problems later. Once I got through, was very happy with the service I received. Wait times were long: 3.5 hours on hold yesterday then a hang-up. Registered and received a call back from another agent who said they couldn't hear me properly and would call me back immediately. 'I promise'. They didn't. Re-registered for a call back today with took 4 hours to receive, then another 1 hour on hold. Happy with the service, but not the wait times.

Terrible altogether
I have signed contract for 6 months with spintel 100/40 fastest on expecting that im going to have dissent speed, but made mistake soon after. They activated service but didn't provide user name and password. I been trying to get in contact with them for 5 days without any luck through chat of phone. Also they say that they are open on the weekend but nobody is replaying on sms. Charging me for what they are unable to provide and not even replying to emails
Worst ever company. I switched to Spintel a few days back for 100/40 Plan and I wasn't getting that speed and I contacted them. They took long to reply to me back and closed don their phone line so I have to email them as no other option left. I was getting 50 Mbps and they were troubleshooting. They told me that someone will resolve in 2 days and haven't heard for 5 days so I contacted them back and they took another day to get back to me with the conclusion that its fault on my end. d and the capped me at 90/20 for 100/40 Mbps plan and also charged me for 100 Mbps plan while I wasn't getting the speed more than 50 Mbps. I lodged the complaint to TIO and contacted them a few times to solve the issue but still no reply from them. Not sure if I will get a refund for the service they didn't provide me. Still waiting for their response and also asked for a cancellation policy so I can switch back to another company. I must say that don't get Spinel. Absolutely Hopeless
If you are running a business DO NOT consider Spintel, they are absolutely hopeless. I was charged for a modem that was never delivered, charged for services that simply did not exist. If I do not receive a full refund I will be lodging a complaint with the TIO.

Order completed apparently though still cannot connect
Order is complete going by spintel i have tried numerous times to connect my modem using the details provided though i have had no luck then to recieve a phone call from spintel to repeat the steps ive done for 1000th time a waste of time trying to transfer

Fraudulent, Dishonest, Timewasting
2.5 months without internet. Paid over $200 upfront for change of address, change of ownership and NBN order/setup. None of these things occurred within their repeated committed time frames. On top of that, they illegally took money out of my account charging 1 month for internet for my old address even though I had cancelled. To date I have not been reimbursed a cent, and they have not agreed a reasonable request for crediting me 2 months of internet usage on my new plan. Be prepared to micromanage any service requests from them - they never call you back and you will get passed around the team like a hot potato. Just received another bill for over $100. Unfortunately I have to rate 1 star - otherwise I would leave it blank.

Dont bother wasting your time with these clowns
Constant drop outs, terrible connection speeds, i had the 100/40 with these morons, barely ever broke 30/10, to top it off, constantly wrong with billing, for phone numbers i didnt have, that i never ordered, they always refused to fix anything, the best they could say is pay for it now so your account doesnt default and we will sort it out later, i gave up on them when they end up trying to charge me for a line installation that i never had, for an address that wasnt mine, they wanted 300 dollars for a line connection to a property that i have...Read more
no clue about, then passed it to a debt collector 3 days after telling me about it who wanted 750 dollars, they then ignored the TIO (ombudsman) claim that i lodged for a month or so, refused to resolve the problem from there internal department that it got directed to, and lodged a satisfactory completion notice with the ombudsman to escape there own mistakes and failures, all while refusing to even talk to me about it, if you want terrible speeds, terrible customer service and constant problems that you will have to call them about with wait times as long as an hour on hold and terrible service reps who know less about what they are doing than telstra and there mob of con men, if you want to be charged out the backside for what ever the overseas call center reps decide to throw at you cause they dont like it when you point out there mistakes repeatedly, please by all means sign up with spintel, they will give you the stomach ulcer you always wantedSimilar opinion? Could not be happier with the customer service
Reliable service. Have had no problems other than one caused by me. Spintel customer service was brilliant. They answer the phone in a reasonable time, are always very polite, friendly and eager to get the job done right. I could not be happier with Spintel's customer service.

Worst Customer Service- Unreliable
A total fraud and very irresponsible. I notified SpinTel for change of address beginning of Dec 2022 and requested transferring my service to the new address. today, It is already past 1.5 months and I still don't have internet. I call them almost everyday and no service has been provided. Meanwhile they send me bills for Dec while I didn't have access to Internet and they charged me for change of address, and new NBN etc while they failed to provide service as they promised . I cannot believe living in Syd without internet for last 2 months because my provider failed to provide service.

Lethargic, unresponsive and Unreliable.
I ordered NBN, CLOUD based PBX and 5 telephone lines on the 11th November 2022 for my small business and told them I will be going abroad for a month and make sure all is active when I come back. The customer service person assured me everything will be ready in 15-20 days and took the money in advance. When I came back, last week, the provision team did not even take their first step and said it will take same 10-20 days. There was only one person in the provisioning section.
Spintel is Under staffed, Unreliable with Hopeless Service. Its been more than a week since cancellation and my money is still not refunded.
Business service needs to be fast and reliable. Clearly, Spintel is not for business!

I have had it for one day and it's been magnificent. Couldn't be happier. Prices are just right and speeds appropriate to my needs. I don't download a great deal but wanted a reliable internet to compliment my mobile phone plan. Great job SpinTel! Also the installation tech came on time and did the job in less than an hour.

I Moved from telstra to Spintel, had a few issues but they were related to having too many phone sockets in the house (all but one had been disconnected) that fixed the issue of no internet/drop outs, then i thought the speeds were bad but contacting live support i was made aware that it could be my device and further research and tweaking on my lan drivers fixed that issue( good job intel NIC lol), i would like to thank the support team at spintel and the technician who came out to test the line line and putting up with my constant daily nagging lol

Easy Setup and easy to use
I've only had a few dropouts in the past 20 plus years of Spintel. I cannot complain at all about them,but when I do have a problem (which would be with a new computer or some software )the staff always talk me through the new installation and don't leave me until all is resolved. They are great and usually email or ring me in a day or so to make sure everything is right.

Terrific NBN connection
The spinel customer service was very professional. I was patiently guided by the rep to connect our home wireless router to our new nbn service. Within a matter of minutes we had the nbn up and running. I am no computer guru so was very impressed with the spintel rep who guided me. She reassured me and I felt very satisfied when the nbn was up and running. We are a family of four who all use internet dependent devices. My teenagers are watching 4K with the new service. Thanks to the team at spintel.

Utter disaster
I have taken my complaint to the TIO and suggest everyone does this as Telcos continue to charge for services that they do not provide. Spintel have ignored all my fault reports until I took it to TIO and also have continually stated that I have high speed internet when I clearly do not, hence take photographs and video as evidence for your claim. Its exhausting and frustrating and something needs to change with these carriers in Australia.
