The ADSL+2 internet has worked amazingly well with no issues whatsoever!

I had the ADSL+2 Spintel internet serviced connect since 2018 and it has worked extremely well without any issues whatsoever! The apartment is shared by 3 young women who need decent internet for their work and uni studies. It has certainly met their needs and being unlimited is even better!

Absolute grubs, off shore like everything else, won't respond if there is problem, have to go to TIO

Connection always dropping out, try double charging account all the time. If there is a problem or trying to get money back they block your account so you have to pay an extra fee to go another carrier to port.
Even when TIO is involved they send bogus resolution emails to them for proof, keep extending until you just give up as it is too stressfull. Absolute dodgy grubs!

Worst internet provided I have ever had to deal with

Spintel asked for 3 weeks to activate my internet connection, which is extremely long already. If this wasn't bad enough, they are late on their promised date and 3 days later there is still no connection. During isolation, it has cost me a fortune to work from home using phone data packages.

Worst internet experience

Have been a client for the last 6 months. Constant slow speed and drop-outs since the beginning that are far more notable since working from home. Not able to stream basic media without quality dropping all the time. Been trying to contact customer service, but instead getting ignored and put on hold for hours.

No business is perfect...you expect something like the internet to go on the blink from time to time but with Spintel...it is so rare. Speeds are great.... prices a excellent.... wouldn't think of changing !

Stay away! Worst company, customer service and connectivity

ADSL2+ - runs at 2gb or less!
Mobile Broadband - basically non functional.
Customer service - disrespectful, unknowledgeable and just useless really.

This company is the bottom of the barrel when it Comes to telecommunications.
Massive hold times, multiple phone Calls to resolve the simplest of issues.
Constant handover to other operators as no one has any idea what they are doing.

Disrespectful and threatening when they know they are in the wrong.

Do not... Do not!!! even consider this shamozzle of a company!!!

Worst company I've ever dealt with

Urgently needed internet access and my order was taking more than 3 weeks. I put in two requests for a callback the next day. These calls didn't occur so I called them instead - after waiting 3 hours and 25 minutes I finally got through. In the end they told me that they'd cancelled my ADSL order (without tellin me) because they couldn't fix it. Appalling service. Avoid.

Julieto solved my internet connection problem with great ease and demonstrated respect for me and my mother by showing concern and by making us laugh, while we were waiting for our connection to load. I have been a customer with Spintel for around 5 years and Julieto has been the best representative I have spoken. I am very satisfied with the internet service Spintel provides, I have never had any problems except the odd time the internet goes out I call them and they fix it right away :)

Nothing but issues since the first call. Days weeks on hold NO CALL BACKS. Then finally get a rude person that refused to help. Told go to TIO if I don't like it. Refused supervisor. Started the phone proccess again more weeks on hold GAVE UP

Worst customer service

Took them one month to connect internet at my premises initially, adsl connection provides a maximum speed of 1.50 all workers i have spoken to state that's the bare minimum they have to provide, my area now has nbn available, staff did not notify me of when nbn service providers would come to my premises luckily i was home, still unable to access nbn been trying to call for customer service all week with waiting times on average being 2hrs i go from being caller 25 down to 20 then up past 25 being told i am now caller 30

Excruciatingly slow.

Provided modem is rubbish, Connection is Patchy AF. Overall terrible experience, glad I only signed up for 6 months, will definitely not renew my contract. Seems like some services are throttled e.g. TOR is extremely slow.

Slow internet speeds

The internet speed is slow and i struggle to open an email. I downloaded a movie which took 2 days so my advice is they are the cheapest for a reason. When i rang they hung up on me so i was not able to resolve the speed issues and could not cancel my contract.

Absolutely Hopeless

If you are reading this chances are you are considering Spintel. If you you with Spintel you are making a BIG mistake. Its near impossible to get through to resolve an issue. I'm now about 10 calls ( 2 hung up on with one sent to a voicemail where the mailbox was full and couldn't leave message after 40 min on phone) emails messenger etc complaints department all useless. Overseas call centers. One operator pretended he couldn't hear me and hung up. The list goes on. They have all sorts of excuses. Sydney storms covid 19 etc etc but at the end of the day you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
