Jayco Warranty
Jayco warranty may be billed as Australia wide but in actual fact it is Australia wide if they choose to fit you in. I had to make multiple complaints to head office to get the local dealer to repair a water leak in a brand new van and after intervention from head office the local dealer advised me that they would repair the leak but not assess the damage. I had to travel three hours further to get another dealer to assess the damage. I reported my concerns to head office and did not get the decency of a reply. I would advise anyone buying a J

We purchased a Jayco Silverline Outback Dec 2022 build in January 2020 from Brisbane Camperland.
This is our experience to date:
Water leak through 240V inlet on day 1.
Water leak to ceiling above sink - twice to date. Ceiling panels replaced twice.
Top drawer in the kitchen fell out on first trip damaging the vinyl floor. We travelled that trip with the drawer on the bed.
Drawer front on top drawer in ensuite just fell off.
Winegard WiFi extender has been replaced 3 times.
Every window in van (with the exception of the front window) was replac

Purchased a brand-new outback journey only to discover major issues with flooring and luggage doors along with Cowling and other items. Return the vehicle back to place of purchase on multiple occasions to have a repairs carried out over the last two years and still having warranty issues rectified.
Contacted Jayco head office on multiple occasions to have no return communications for at least 10 weeks is fine mail and even then stating that they believe that the issues have been resolved, even though the van is still being repaired

Jayco Penguin Outback 2022-2022. Cracking to front boot manufacturing flaw not covered by Warranty as I’m the 2nd owner
Jayco outback penguin 2022 - 2022 model. Cracking to front boot manufacturing flaw not covered by Warranty as I’m the second owner.
We purchased a Jayco 11/2019 outback penguin when it was 12months old.
It developed the cracking above the front boot (due to jayco not having any clearance to the boot lid hinge fixing screws).
This is a widespread issue with this model and jayco are fully aware of it as they have had to repair many under warranty.
Lodged a warranty claim only to be told your the second owner, so no warranty for you.

They could have made this a good news story i.e. yes we made a mistake with how we put this model together but we’re fixing it. We’ll do a recall because we stand behind our product. No, not this company. We had just ordered a new 2022 model which we have now cancelled. I won’t support a company with their level of ethics.

Have owned a brand new swift touring for 12 months..the quality of the build was shocking we have had so many things just fall apart/off and integeral parts like bed slides and seats just fail. Screws snapping, canvas wearing at corners, table not fitted correctly. All good and well to have them covered by warranty but when you are out travelling u cant get them sorted..wont buy a jayco product again

Bought a new jayco journey outback 21 model in the NT, had lots of problems with the van at the start, trying to get issues fixed but getting warranty work done while travelling is almost impossible. Jayco expect people to stop in a state for 3 or 4 months to get the warranty work done. Contacted the Head Office two weeks ago in Vic to explain to them of my situation, female at customer service said leave it with me and I will call you back. Still waiting, sent an email to customer service they haven't responded back.Very disappointed with Jayco customer service. Once they get your money for the van they do not want to know you. Come on Jayco lift your game up.

Jayco sells you a dream but the reality is grim. Going to try and cut quite a long story as short and concise as possible. Picked up a (barely) used Jayco Lark Bush Pack (2021 model) last year. Alarm bells should have rung when Jayco's 5 year structural warranty and lifetime warranty on lifting mechanism is immediately voided when van changes hands to a second and subsequent owner, leaving only the balance of the 2 year manufacturing warranty. I will start by stating that the van has been meticulously looked after and never taken on anythin
... Read moreg more demanding than a standard non-sealed road. Few family trips undertaken, kids love it. Great times. Things start failing showing how poor the quality of the product is: 3 door hinges randomly snap, seating panelling comes away from screws and retaining hinges, screws that support sliding bed rails fracture despite normal use. If left too long these elements are highly likely to render the van unusable and there's your investment on your driveway or workshop instead of out where it was designed to be. The van is barely a year old and failing. Disappointing is an understatement. So being a responsible owner and wanting to look after the family's investment, made some calls to Jayco's authorised dealer network. The nearest service areas are over 30km away and booked out for months (granted not Jayco's fault). I didn't think these issues could wait that long so I scrutinised Jayco's warranty terms, which explicitly state (their own words) that: "If you are in an area not covered by an authorised agent, work can only be carried out in an unauthorised workshop after prior written approval from Jayco's customer service centre...prompt reporting of problems is essential...please do not delay...Jayco will not accept any damage arising from not having faults attended to in a timely manner." So I got in touch to detail the issues requesting said authorisation, followed the warranty wording to the letter and did my bit as the owner to make sure these issues didn't progress. Jayco come back at me with an email stating: Hello, For any warranty repairs that may be required on your caravan, only a registered Jayco service agent can provide the works and any parts required, through their Jayco warranty claim portal.Excellent service repairing our van
Had a roof issue that was urgent. The staff at jayco went above and beyond to get the problem fixed asap. Special thanks to Michael in warranties and tarnya in service for getting us sorted. With a very busy booked out repair centre they made room for us and got us back on the road. Thanks guys.

We purchased a 2020 Starcraft bushpack from Newcastle dealership last year thinking that Jayco warranty will have us cover for our lap of OZ. Pretty much every stops had us fixing things on the van, hinges, pipe clamps, silicon joints, cabinets brackets, broken washing machine, lift pump, external cladding, front flap locking mechanism. So far only washing machine was replaced under warranty but we had to pay out of pocket And got reimbursed 2 months later. Regarding any other repairs we gave up trying to book the van in a Jayco repair workshop as the ones we tried couldn’t take us or asked us to have the van for weeks which is nearly impossible to do when you are on a lap.

Poor After Sales Service
I'd lodged an insurance claim through the Jayco Dealership at Coffs over 6 weeks ago. The dealership keeps advising me they have no date for the parts from Jayco Head Office. I rang head office and was told to send an email to their [email protected] email. It's been a week since that email and still no follow up. Be careful when purchasing as they maybe cheap upfront, but looks as if you pay if it later with their follow up service. Van has just gone 12mths old.

18 Months, no luck
I purchased a brand new Jayco Eagle Outback Camper in November 2022 from Page Bros in Seaford. The camper presented quite well aside from the poor looking roof sealant and a few random staples and screws visible inside which I sorted. The first trip away saw some very light rain and a rather annoying roof leak in one corner, contacted Page Bros and had that roof corner resealed under warranty. A couple of drawers faces have fallen off which I have re attached myself, the front boot lid was replaced by the dealer due to being warped. One alloy w

The camper has been back to Page Bros 3 times to have the roof resealed which still leaks and as a result has damaged the inside of the roof and caused the canvas to go mouldy. The last time I took it to Page Bros the service manager actually recommended I take the camper to another company for repairs. 18 months after the first leak, its currently sitting in a Caravan Repair centre local to home where it's been for Bout 6 weeks. It currently has no roof and no canvas due to damage done from the leaks never been fixed. Hopfully the repairer who has it now does a better job than Page Bros. Im currently stuck with a camper which I have needed to sell due to a change in circumstances but because of the poor condition of the internal roof and canvas I cant. Jayco and their service department leave an awful lot to be desired in terms of quality control and customer satisfaction. The camper does tow ok and is, almost to much point fit for purpose. Can you sleep in it, yes, if it's not raining and If you spend a heap of money on mattress toppers and because the mattress's as fitted from factory are absolute rubbish. Will I buy another Jayco product, absolutely not. I can't wait for this whole ordeal to be over.Waited Seven months for Bad Product and Bad Service
Started off when salesman kept telling me that could not have items that were in the catalogue of options.
Eventually another salesman stepped in and told him that he was looking at wrong years catalogue.
Sales Manager for Adelaide Jayco stepped in after I eventually got a response from Jayco Head Office after numerous emails and phone complaints (All head office wanted to do was tell me to go through the dealership).
Sales Manager promised me the world, obvious now that his view of the world is his pay-check and broken promises.
They had the van for a whole month before they asked me to come in for a hand over.
I won't go into lots of details as a picture is worth a thousand words.

This must have been there before the build of the caravan was started and must have been seen by at least 10 people before I collected the van. An Anderson plug and cabling was installed by the "factory trained technicians" besides the plug being incorrectly assembled they also disabled the battery management system and the install was no way professional. I ordered a TV mount with the package, this was never installed even though I paid to have it installed. Ordered a reversing camera, when I did the pickup, they were not aware that they had to install the components in the tow vehicle which delayed the pickup by an hour. The reversing camera wiring was not properly secured. The grab handle light did not work and they wanted me to drive 120km return trip to replace that and not do any other work. Blinds do not lock in at the top position, cupboard doors do not open easily. No dust cap on spare tire even though it sits face up in its cradle. Trying to get first service was told that I would have to wait to end of January 2022. However did get an email stating: "We are more than happy to see your van for its 1st Service and minor repairs on the 29/10/21. However due to the fact that you have quite a few concerns, we will need to assess each concern and determine the appropriate action required, which will take some time and potentially we may need to order parts."
