I searched on line but could not find the manual, call Jayco Australia or one of their Retail Dealers
I searched online & found it.
Under Jayco.com.au
Under owners manual.
It comes up 2022 but if you change the year to 2017 it will come up

Hi - How to I stop the condensation. Don't suggest ventilation as when it's cold outside you don't have the windows open and when your freedom camping a Dehumidifer is not an option.

G’day guys, I have a 2017 Silverline outback. Can anyone tell me how do I isolate the air conditioning unit from the mains supply. The earth leakage switch keeps tripping and I’ve removed every other appliance from the 240v outlets. I’m assuming it’s the air conditioning unit that is causing the problem.

We picked our silverline up on 9th Nov 2016. Straight away we had cracks in a couple of windows they were fixed under warrenty. Ever since we have now got 3 windows with cracks in them. Why are they cracking and I would liked them fixed and not be charged for them. Its not right this should not be happening.Not a happy customer.

Hello,
Mine is located on the right side of the club lounge and the vent comes through under the seat just above floor level. I don't like the idea as it could be prone to feet kicking it, getting in and out of the lounge area.
I have seen others with double vents located on each side of the east west bed and I think this is a much better idea.
We also have a 2016 Silverline. We have had a window crack while the van was stored in an enclosed shed. We think the Dometic windows used by Jayco are just rubbish. I hope they've changed what they are made from since then. Ours cracked after the 12 month warranty period had expired and neither the Dealer, Jayco or Dometic would do a thing for us. When we sell the van, the next one won't be a Jayco.
I have the same van and three window on the sink side of the van have cracks... this is a major fault and there should have been a recall. I’m
sure jayco have to give a 7 year warranty in these instances.

This is more a statement than a question and intended to help others to be aware of and manage a relatively new problem before damage occurs. We have a new 2022 Silverline 21.653 Outback. First trip this week and use of the shower meant a foot bath. The drainage water was ponding up in the shower base and could not escape down the tiny drain hole and associated fittings/piping. In my opinion and as shared with Jayco, the design of the flow direction, [the uphill route creating resistance] and dimensions of the waste pipe and fittings is restrictive and means it is incapable of allowing waste water to get away. Given the significant cost and the inconvenience of packing up and heading to a Dealer [a long way away], I am arranging a Plumber to quote to rectify the apparent design fault and trusting that Jayco will approve such remedial work. In the meantime, less time in shower, lower water pressure and definitely no sullage hose usage, means no overflow of water from shower base. I suspect that if we had used the washing machine with sudden and heavy water release, we would have had water backed up inside the vans cupboards and floor. Bob G.

I have the same issue with mine. Jayco were not very helpful. I have built my own drainage outlets using 40mm pipe and joiners and intend to replace the existing 28mm outlet pipe with an expander joint and 38mm piping, that will fix. My washing machine works fine, though. Peter S
Following some sensible negotiations, Jayco agreed to pay the costs for plumber to complete remedial work which involved mostly 40mm poly and no T joins, rather Y like. The rather silly clear tubes were replaced with 40 mm also. It beggars belief that Jayco would allow the design and specs of the drainage. Those that have a Grey water tank would not have the issue so that would minimise the number of complaints.

Just got into the silverline after heavy rain and found a lot of water on the floor under the front seat of the club lounge. Around the battery and under some blankets we have stored there. Has any one else had this problem?

Had same problem in our case water was coming in through the top or additional water filling hatch.(we have three water tanks two filling hatches) Local dealer resealed this under warranty no further problems.

2015 Silverline with condensation on the inside of the slide out bed. Told to put thermal tape on it. Has anyone else had this problem and if so please what have you used to rectify it. We are using towels to mop up the condensation and to try and stop our mattress at the head end from getting wet. Black mould starting to appear at the bottom of the slide out corners on the mattress base.

2018 Silverline -same problem - Jayco Auckland put a Thermal Tape in all the cupboard corners - I'am concerned about the area you can't get to - mattress is getting wet due to the condensation running down behind the tape - black mould on bed base board - I asked for my money back as I purchase new as ths is a major design fault -NO luck with that -

We have the caravan stored in the shed for about 6 weeks without (inadvertently) turning on the 240V supply. Everything flat. Have connected to mains but battery not charging. Is there a little switch somewhere to reset? Silverline 2018 model 21.65.3.

I have the same caravan and year every time I go to use it I have the same problem.
Brought it new in NZ never again I’m selling the item. The warranty claims are a joke, I have been waiting for four months for small cheap parts
You should turn your battery off to save its voltage, it will then be fine when you start up again.

Our 6/18 silverline has thr best Dometic fridge except the front panels of freezer & fridge keep falling apart with regular road use. We are now on our secong door + 3 times agents have been sent replacement parts. We seem to be the duct tape specialists!! Has anyone else had this problem. We noticed in two sales yards the fridges were starting to unclip so no doubt they would end up with a problem. Dometic should be addressing the issue

Dometic will get themselves out of anything by citing warranty every time. My issue was not with the fridge but windows that just broke. Out of warranty was their answer. I would never recommend a caravan by Jayco as they are just as bad in using warrant y as their out excuse.

There is a drain cap on the bottom outlet Tee of each tank where the water fill and pick hoses connect.

The water filter is behind the drawers in the kitchen, if you pull the top drawer out you will find it

Dear Susan. Outside mounted on the chassis there should be a small diverter tap that isolates the tanks. You need to manually switch it over. This is on the slide-out side of the Silverline.
