If youre out of contact, like most providers, there should be no fee to move elsewhere. Once you have the new sim from the new provider I would assume the plan stays straight away.

Hi Bernie,
Once your 12-month contract has expired, you can choose to stay on your existing plan, move to a newer in-market plan with us =, or to port out to another provider. As long as your contract has expired there is no cost to do any of these options.

Hi, I did exactly above and ported my account after the contract expired. I also did exactly as your site states on its faq (do not call you to cancel the account if you are having your number ported). My number was ported but for the past two months I keep getting charged. Ive not been able to get through to customer service. Could you please let me know what I can do.

I find the following extract from the CIS very confusing. If payment is done via Direct Debit (automatic, I presume!!), how can you be sure that payment is made prior to due date and not on due day? Hope a Jeenee representative can answer my query. Thanks.

"Payment processing fee
This plan must be paid via Direct Debit from a nominated credit card. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . A payment processing fee of 1.06% is applicable for all payments made via Mastercard or Visa. If you pay your invoice prior to the due date by Mastercard or Visa no processing fees will be charged. . . . . . . . . . . . . ."

Hi there, If I port my current number from Jeenee to another provider, how does Jeenee charge me if I only use 1 or 2 days in the last month as it takes time when transfer the number.

Pete S.Jeenee Mobile

Thanks for your question. If you transfer your number out then you will be charged for the number of days that your service was active with us in the final month (active means active on the network, irrespective of usage). This means that your minimum monthly charge is prorated to reflect the period that you were active with us. Please note that the inclusions in your final month are also prorated as well. For example - if you were on a $25 per month plan with 10GB of included data per month and you transferred out on the 15th day of a 30 day month then you would be charged 50% of the minimum monthly charge (ie - $12.50). If that plan had 10GB of included data - then you would also have that inclusion amount prorated (ie - 50% or 5GB). Any data used that is greater than the 5GB pro rated inclusion amount in this example would be charged as excess data.

Hi how quickly does a sim from jeenee take to arrive after ordering? My postcode is 2250.
One company I have used, the sim was received the next day after ordering and one sim 2 days, however, another company I ordered from previously took a week for the sim to arrive and after 4 days their system is still not working to even activate the sim (this is even after several calls, they have said they have system issues so even they can't activate on their end.) As a result I am going to tell them to disregard the sim and I am going elsewhere. I am now in the predicament I need a sim urgently. I don't want to wait another week just to receive one. I am interested with one of your plans and I have 2 sims that are needed, but I also need prompt service. Thanks

Hi. Thanks for your question. We end all of our SIMs from our mailhouse facility which is located in Homebush (NSW). All orders are sent out Priority Post which usually arrives within 2 working days (although it often arrives in Sydney Metropolitan areas the next day. We send our orders out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. If your order is urgent, you can choose Express Post as an option at checkout (for an additional charge).

Hello,

I am currently on the "$25 Pennywise SIM 10% off" plan so I usually receive a bill of $22.50 per month. However, I was charged an additional $15 for 'Payment Dishonour' for my August invoice, which I was not informed about in the SMS I received to pay the bill (This is because I was not aware that I had insufficient funds in my account then, but I transferred the money over to my account after that SMS and thought that the bill would have been automatically charged to my account again due to auto payment set up). A few days later I received an SMS stating that the payment has not yet been made, and that I need to make the payment to "continue using the service avoid suspension".

I went to the website and figured to just make the payment there but had the additional $15 fee in my invoice. I have since messaged your team 3 times to resolve this but have not received even one reply.

Was told to PM you in your response to my review so hope this matter can be resolved ASAP.

Hi i am looking at signing up with Jeenee Mobile Sim on the seniors deal. I phoned and asked if I am able to select my own phone number with a 1955 in it and the lovely gentleman on the phone said someone would call me back to let me know of this possibility. I am still waiting for a call after 2 days. Any ideas?

Hope to hear from the company.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your question and for considering Jeenee Mobile.
The numbers that we have available are allocated to us by Optus - so are quite limited.
I have asked IT to take a quick look to see if we have anything available with 1955 in it. Unfortunately we do not .... Sorry.
We would be happy to give you another number for your new Senior Plan .. we just can't give you this one.

Hi Terry,
Thanks for your question.
You can always upgrade your plan during a contract without any penalties as long as you are moving to a plan with a higher monthly charge.

Hello There!
Jeenee use the full, unrestricted Optus network, meaning you get the exact same coverage and speeds that you would get if you signed up with Optus themselves with your Jeenee service. Thanks!

Hi Mitch, i am a real novice at this kinda stuff, but regularly go over data on mu Optus contract. Could I possibly get a prepaid data with this Jeenee Mobile company and that would give me like 50gb for $54 whcih would be great if it works? For the time being I only want it for data use as I would keep my number and optus sim for calls until the plan runs out ion August. Appreciate your input if you have time, Gav

Hey, I wanted to do this too because I only had a month or two left of my old plan. But then I realised data-only plans still provide you with a SIM, and that would mean I would have two SIMs (one for my old plan and one for my data-only plan). If you have a phone that has two SIM pockets maybe it would work, but for my phone, I only had one and that would mean I'd have to switch out my SIMs. If you have 2 phones maybe it could work? Not really sure - but that's why I didn't get the data-only plan.

One good thing about them is that there's no lock-in (it's month by month), so you could try it and just opt out if it doesn't work well. If you don't go over too much on your Optus one, maybe it's worth just sticking with it and paying a little extra. But that's just my two cents!

Hey there, a bit late I know, I've got the $54.00 50g 4g plan for my home mobile wifi network, ( took a bit long to activate ), but it works well, and for my phone the $15.00 unlimited phone and text with 1.5g 4g download, also works well. I'm pleased overall with the service and costs. ( I run the 50g 4g
data sim through a tiny Optus portable hotspot/ router, which is frequently on special at Cole's and Woolies for under $30.00 )

No, some of the phone plan specials are 3G (only the ones marked as such). Data SIMs are 4G - that's what I'm using now.

Thanks for your reply. Yes the operator was helpful, but I have to ring 3 times as what I was promised would be fixed (not seeing my mobile phone service even those I can see my data only service) is still not fixed. Which is why I sent an online enquiry and as you know still no reply.

I'm moving from Sydney to Albury in early February. Naturally there will be a lot of changes to be made. One very important one is my mobile carrier. Having experienced mobile problems over time with my carrier ( Telstra is the only reliable carrier in this area and it's too expensive for a pensioner), I was really excited to have found, purely by accident) Jeenee. Not only do the prices appeal but also the many recommendations for service and reliability.
HOWEVER, I'm concerned as to how Jeenee operates in a predominantly rural area.

PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP/ADVISE ME AS TO JEENEE'S POTENTIAL TO SERVICE MY AREA?

Many thanks

Hi Beth I would suggest you Call Jeenee 1300 054 631 (Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5:30pm AEDT). they are very helpful As to the coverage they use the OPTUS newtork which I found works fine in the Hume freeway from Melb to Mullwalla NSW through to most areas of Bright VIC (Bright is always a bit challenging due to the bush and hills) so Im sure Albury would be good.
I am fairly sure the NBN covers Albury anyway so there would be no issues but check with Jeenee.

I'm looking at $35 plan do you start to get billed when you receive your sim and active it or when you sign up?

For me it was only once I activated my sim

I think the date I had was just after I signed up and the date they posted the sims. Their site says: Your billing will commence when your service is added to your account.

Jason

I received my sim 2 weeks ago, and it start from the date you activate. Of course you have to pay upfront, but once you activate your sim on that date of the month, you'll be billed on same date each month.
