Excellent Service
Plumber was able to come out the same day I called. Arrived within the time frame quoted. Daniel was very happy to have me observe and explained everything he was doing in easy to understand terms. As it turned out the job was much simpler than I had been dreading. I am extremely happy and would highly recommend.

Gas Hot Water system - expectation not met
My Bosche gas hot water system stop working during the long weekend of Melbourne Labour Day. I call Jim's Plumbing on Sunday. A plumber came, took a look and said that the battery needs replacing and he needs to order it on Tuesday. It took 30 minutes including going downstairs to put down his toolbox and bring the credit card scanner for about 7 minutes. So, I pay $237 with nothing is resolved.

So expensive!
Really shocked at $750 to replace element on our electric water heater. It was a public holiday so I realise there's a premium but a quote for $2300 to replace the 50l Rheem on any date! Got another quote at more than half that price. Lesson learnt for me.

we also replaced the thermostat, We feel our prices are compatible within the market especially on a public holiday. I needed hot water, that's why I paid it.

Unhappy Customer
Had Jim's come and fix our 7 year old Dux hot water system (gas). Had three parts changed for $1100. Red flag for 45mins work. Went online (after they had finished) and found we could have a brand new equivalent Dux installed for $1250. Told $1100 was a nationwide cost for the work they did. Tried to tell me that to replace the system would have cost $2000-$2500 although I had an alternative at half price on my computer in front of me... (would have much preferred a brand new system than a 7 year old with new parts!)- either way l feel it...Read more

rice from our national price list, you said well if its a price from a national price list I will have to accept this. We do not replace units that are only 7 years old, We have pulled out units that are 20 years old, We attend on the intention to fix the unit not to simply replace something that does not need replacing. We are one of the largest suppliers on Hot Water Units, we are very experienced and we warranty the workmanship and parts. I only rated 4 stars because of the guy who fix my hot water system.
As i said in the title. I gave him 4 star for his friendly and hardwork. Only that, he changed over an unitrol, pressure valve....the charge was $750 for the unitrol, and 350 for the pressure valve. It took him an hour to get it done. The whole job was $1100 in total, well fair enough but it was my bad for not doing my homework. I went online and check for all the part's prices. Well i could spend $1100 to get a new system easy. There you go, thanks for getting the job done but sorry i would never choose to go jimmy again. Thanks

rk was carried out by experienced and qualified Gas Fitters and we warranty the work and parts that we installed and supplied, You will find that the parts online will not be the same brand or quality and definitely will not have the warranty and guarantee that we offer. Taken advantage of
Needed my kitchen tap replaced and they charged me almost $500. I couldn't justify paying half a thousand dollars to have my kitchen tap fixed. The bill included the $188 replacement tap, which only costs less than $70 everywhere else. The job didn't take half an hour and I was charged 4x 1/4 hour. Called the complaint dept, they charged an extra 1/4hr for an extra one minute, the plumber spent in the car preparing my bill. I don't trust jim's brand again, because of their dishonesty.

ve been dishonest. We had disclosed the costs prior to sending the plumber and also before commencing the work to which you gave written and verbal approval to go ahead with the work. Within 10 minutes of our plumber leaving site, you received a call from our Customer Service Manager to provide us with feedback to which you stated you were happy.Similar opinion? Great Plumbing work and customer service
Booked a plumber to resolve a few plumbing problems since moving into a new home (leaking water in the laundry and a shower which was not water sealed correctly. The plumber was professional and fixed the issues on the spot and tidied up any mess as well. The plumber also provided advice for some future work I wish to undertake. I will definitely be booking Jim's Plumbing again!

Jim's saves Christmas
The oven breaking down before Christmas is not what you need. I rang JIm's Plumbing and Charlie was out there the next day. He arrived on time, was friendly, courteous and professional. He did a fantastic job and now the family can enjoy a hot lunch.

Exceeded expecations!
When I was booked in for between 8am & 11am, well, I was expecting 11am earliest. It was a nice surprise to hear Charlie buzz at 8am!! Great job, very professional, took a little extra care, as well as being polite. Also took the time to explain all aspects of fitting my new shower head, basin mixer and drain fitting. Cleaning the basin drain pipe was a bonus. It was like it was his own home! Thank you.

Excellent Service
Booked online and after only about 10 min somebody called up to discuss. Was very accommodating, gave options that would best suit my schedule. The following day, the plumber arrived exactly on time, went straight to work and fixed the problem. Very satisfied.

Great quality service
I had a blocked kitchen sink and wasn't sure where the blockage was. Someone was able to come out at a time that was convenient for me and was able to fix the problem and explained how it was caused and did preventative measures to help stop it occurring again in the future.
