Trouble with hot water
Jims plumber come out today on time, fixed trouble with hot water in house that another plumber had caused putting in new bathroom. Plumber found problem very fast was happy with outcome.

Excellent service
Called Jim’s Plumbing with an intermittent hot water fault. Leigh Mason (Jim’s plumbing Perth ))arrived promptly and he began with a thorough diagnosis. Leigh quickly ascertained the fault as a seized solenoid in my eternity hot water system & he gave me a few options for repairing the fault. Ultimately a new system was required. Leigh then organised interest free repayments for me and he collected a new eternity unit from the warehouse. The new unit was fitted and all testing & adjustments were done. The unit tested correctly & couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Leigh Mason was very professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone needing plumbing assistance.

Exorbitant Price for a Tap
Contacted Jim’s Plumbing to replace a leaking laundry tap. Plumber quoted $590 to my wife as a fixed price to replace tap. Job completed in about ½ hour. After contacting Tradelink and finding out the tap cost $79 retail, we worked out that the labour and callout fee amounted to $511, which seemed exorbitant. We contacted Jim’s Plumbing and they credited us $150, which we accepted. Still ended up paying $440 for one tap! Won’t use or recommend them again.

bbie said the plumber had probably installed a different tap than they usually have in their vans due to no stock. No mention was made of an invoice error. Debbie said she would contact the plumber and get back to me which she promptly did. Water main repair - near water meter. East Vic Park WA
My water meter was recently replaced by the Water Corp and the next day the pipe leading out of it was leaking. I was advised to call a plumber and then submit a claim to the Water Corp. My plumbing technician - Leigh M was very helpful in not only repairing the damage but letting me know what the deal was in submitting a claim to the Water Corp. He was extremely helpful and was very clear in explaining his repair and what I had to do.

Jim's Plumbing - Toilet Drainage
Call out fee is $73( no time including)
1.5h Service and charged $445.
Plummer used the machine for an hour but they are charged 1.5h machine usage( since they were on site 1.5h)
These guys are not offering free quote plus job is not getting done properly.They left the pavers out.
Strongly not recommended.

I will not use Jim's Plumbing again as they clearly try to mislead people. I was charged a lot for a simple leak and then they said I could not receive the $50 refund because "Payment was not received at completion". Payment was made as soon as requested and could not be made on the spot as it was a rental. Clearly they just try and trick people. You have lost my business and I have 5 rental properties.

I had a plumber unblock a toilet. Two days later the toilet blocked again. I couldn't get the original plumber out so called Jims as it was an emergency (tenanted). It was a weekend. Plumber came out and told me the price would be $110 call out, $80 if the camera was used and $59.00 per 15 minutes. I was stuck. I asked plumber what problem was and he told me it was roots 1 metre from the back wall and then more large roots on a corner. He said the pipes were terracotta and would probably have to be replaced and even quoted me $6750.00 to do it....Read more
I got the original plumber back and he dug down to the pipes........ Only the first few metres are terracotta the rest is PVC. Surely he would have known that if he used the camera? Original plumber said there are NO roots in the pipes. Who do you believe?? Jim's plumber tells me they didn't record the footage to verify roots ( Still charged me for the supposed use of the camera) I have requested THREE times to have the invoice forwarded to me with a break down of the $673.00 they charged and took from my credit card on the 15th July. They take my money immediately and can't even prove what the issue was. My original plumber said whatever was blocking it has worked its way through now as it is working fine. How come if the roots were blocking it, and they hadn't been removed.........did the sewer miraculously start working???? Sick of waiting for Jim's Plumbing to reply....am taking it to consumer affairs and will NEVER use Jim's again FOR ANYTHING. They do not even have the decency to give me details of what I PAID FOR. Disgusted. You ask for upload proof of purchase......sorry they don't seem to want to give me any!! (I rang Jim's again last night and finally received the invoice today so have uploaded it for you) Very strangely it says nothing about roots in the pipe but instead refers to sand??? The messages I have on MY phone are all about roots blocking the drain. Person on phone asked me if Jims could contact me either by email or phone. I said not phone only email. arding what took place, our plumber kept in contact with you throughout the job via phone as you were not onsite. We did not charge for the use of the camera, there were no tree roots in the drain after our plumber attended as he used the Hydrojet drain machine to clear all of those tree roots. After he cleared the tree roots and unblocked the drain he completed a camera inspection and found the drain was broken. If you had requested a copy of the camera footage while the plumber was onsite we would have recorded the camera footage for you on a USB, this needs to be done at the time the camera inspection is completed. We also have no record of you calling our office 3 times to request a copy of the invoice, the first call you made to our office was Wednesday night after our accounts department had gone home for the day and the invoice was emailed to you as soon as got in the next morning. Not Supportive
We were advised that we had two broken solar panels and that the cost would be $4500 to replace the panels. The plumber showed us how to turn the water on and off so as to avoid it leaking. But did not take it to the next step and turn the water off to the panels instead. A second opinion shows that only one panel is faulty and will cost a quarter of the Jim's quoted price. Not a quality service and no real understanding of the job at hand. Expensive call out fee.

ice to replace the 2 panels especially as many of the new panels aren’t compatible to be connected onto the older systems. They have different connections and bracketing and sometimes even different sized panels therefor making replacement of both panels necessary. Thank you for your feedback.
