The service we received was outstanding with understanding our needs. The salesperson was friendly and professional. We like to purchase in the store so that we have the personal touch and the ability to see products side by side. Having a salesperson makes the purchasing process so much enjoyable for us.

I cannot stress enough that this review only relates to the Sippy Downs store - the Maroocydore store, however, has been fantastic and went beyond the call of duty to make up for Sippy Downs' poor service (and no, I'm not an employee, on commission or anything else - just a customer).

Read morearranty is not applicable for whatever reason they think they can get away with - and they're certainly not afraid to breach ACCC rules/policies to do it either. Most recently, they refused to consider a warranty repair for an item by claiming it had been damaged by the user ... despite no signs whatsoever of any mistreatment or external damage to the unit (ie no damage to the casing etc, yet internal electrical components had failed). The belligerent attitude from the Tech staff was appalling and they simply refused to contact the manufacturer, despite it being within the 12 month warranty period. Unfortunately, it was the "same old, same old" for this store. Once they've got your money upfront, they don't want to know you or do anything for you again ... till it's time to take more money from you for something else. (However, Joyce Mayne's prices are sometimes too good to pass up.) Anyway, with this particular item/issue I contacted the Maroochydore store to seek management's details at Head Office etc, and consequently outlined the reasons for my inquiry. Despite me not purchasing the item from Maroochydore, they generously offered the assistance of their Tech guy if I took the item in to them ... which I did a short time later.- 2 reviews
I am totally amazed at the level of service I receive every single time I am needing to go to Noyce Mayne to get something done. No pressure ever to buy anything . Thank you Ryan & Staff particularly Corey, Steph & Hayden for their excellent service, on all occasions. We bought (in Feb '18) an LG 7.5kg top loader that malfunctioned within a week. That was replaced, without question, by the same model (our choice). That one also malfunctioned after 3 weeks. So, we did our R&D & decided on a Fisher&Paykel 7kg Top Loader. We also bought a Bosch Readyy'y Lithium Ion Vac, after the fact, from them (which is working just perfectly) & we are super happy with it. They also price matched this to The Good Guys & dropped that price even lower. They also have far superior extended warranty deals (in comparison to any other retailers) on these goods making the deals even more attractive. So, do yourselves a huge favour & consult with Joyce Mayne if your in the market for any type of Home appliances. They will ensure you get the best deal & then some, coupled with truly sincere, exceptional customer service. Brilliant service from Ben... It was his day off and my order was completed by Robert refreshing to come to a store where all the staff go out of their way to assist. answered all of my question to make an informed decision with the purchase of my fridge.. all staff are very friendly a please to do business with the store at Maroochydore.

Not being at all technical, it is refreshing to come to a store where all the staff go out of their way to assist with product information, how to skills and advice in general. I did not feel that they were trying to sell any particular product, but a product that suited my abilities (or lack thereof). Was always welcome back for advice and assistance.

Please. Shouldn't I be getting my refund before the order is damn bloody cancelled? Or at least soon after. Still waiting on my refund hours later. I'll remember to look at product reviews before doing any shopping from now, and I'll remember to avoid Joycemayne.
Apparently, they "usually reply to emails within 24 hours". Well no they don't. It's been over 48 hours now, no refund, no nothing.

Joyce Mayne store online order out of stock, they can't tell me when they will get more stock. Was told I would receive a phone call next day for estimated time for more stock. This never happened, emailed support and still waiting. Never again will I order through this mob!

I found shopping at Joyce Mayne Nowra shop very easy. I was allowed to browse as long as I wanted, and when I needed assistance with the purchase of a freezer, the young lady was ready to help.
I wanted delayed delivery and that was not an issue. The freezer was delivered free of charge and all packaging was removed as was my old freezer

I wonder what criteria this store has for the rude and obnoxious salespeople they manage to hire.
Looking at buying a dishwasher. Was hesitant as the last time we bought one from them it lasted less than one day before they had to replace it. Had a sales bloke come up and frankly hassle us. We said we were looking at dishwashers and would let him know if we needed help. In less than 2 mins he was back and telling us how we should not spend less than $500 as they were crap ( his words). As there was very good reviews on this website for a brand and model which was under this amount, we were looking at it but his pushiness and know it all...

I bought an item online. Two weeks have passed and they have not communicated with me or sent my item. I've now opened a dispute with PayPal. Appalling!!!

I was in search of a replacement Microwave, for my faithful Sharp Inverter/ Sensor type. I had been going to replace with exact same model, but had read some concerning reviews online about this model of Sharp, thus endeavoured to look at other types. Despite online research, nothing really stood out (just so many; and reviews can be a mixed bag!), though had managed to narrow down to a few brands/types. Read moreisingly helpful, enthusiastic and full of really good product information. I had told him about my prev. Sharp, but reluctance to go for it based what I had learnt. He pointed out how the concern I had over this particular Sharp Unit had been a manufacturing issue a couple of years back, affecting then about 20% of units made, but since fully rectified, and this unit still was viewed popular. This settled, I expressed maybe a possible interest in what other good brand of mircowaves might offer in about the same price area (There are just so many, but always I like to reasonably go for a brand that will be good for some years, and don't mind upgrading to any new/helpful innovations that might be on offer!). I was very impressed therefore with Ben's depth of knowledge of the many microwaves on offer (no mean feat!). He wasn't pushy, nor showed any impatience at all with my numerous questions as I wavered between a few units there. He also had a back ground in repair/warranty issues, and this brought a level of professionalism to the eventual sale. I ended up buying a Panasonic Inverter microwave in stainless steel finish. It uses a type of flat bed technology (without the glass turn-table), thus not only much easier to keep clean, but allowing more usable heating surface area, because it cooks the food in the same position (like an oven!) (doesn't need to travel around & around!). Arriving home, the family are also happy with my choice of microwave; looks great on the bench. I wanted to also just express my sincere thanks to Ben, including packing the unit in the back of my car ( & a bit after closing time as well!), pointing out to me other benefits of my product protection package, that I also purchased. Always good to encounter friendly; nice and helpful staff, who can assist with any shortfall in product information, not always garnished from online research. I genuinely trust Ben's work superiors read this review, and value what a great staff member they have in him. After purchasing and returning home I turned it on and it had been set up and had a password and everything. Took it back and was told to my face it would take 2 days max to receive a new one but now they are saying it will take a week. The staff member that I returned it to was extremely rude.
appear friendly but lie directly to your face and laugh when caught out whilst trying to continue their lies. They don't price match either so be prepared to pay top dollar

Staff were very kind and helpful when it came to replacing the product purchased last year. No questions asked, they looked up the receipt in the system and handed me a new one from the shelf. I always shop at Joyce Mayne even if I have to ask them to price match from other places. They're definitely the best in my experience.

I have always been a Joyce Mayne fan and my recent experience at the Chancellor Park store in Queensland confirmed my high opinion. The service I received when I had the awful experience of a dead fridge on Easter Thursday afternoon was not only efficient and practical but friendly, caring and supportive. The team who helped me sort out my problems could not have been better. You have ensured that I will remain a permanent Joyce Mayne customer and advocate. Well done!

Purchased Smart TV at Joyce Mayne. Staff were knowledgeable and answered my questions however were not pushy when I was deciding on my final purchase.
I had a great buying experience at Joyce Mayne Maroochydore I purchased several large items Refrigerator, Westinghouse 520ltr, Fisher & Paykel 8.5kg Washing Machine and Haier Dryer. Salesperson was Daniel Clarke, he couldn't have been more helpful in assisting me with my purchases. He has excellent people skills and product knowledge which was of great help to me. I would recommend this store and it's sales person Daniel to anyone wishing to shop for electrical house hold items. Daniel is a credit to Joyce Mayne and because of the assistance I was given i will continue to shop at this store in the future. Well done Joyce Mayne!!!!!

I did my research and decided to buy my new LG front loading washing machine from Joyce Mayne, online, they had the best price when I factored the delivery fee into the total cost.
I did the purchase around lunch time on Monday and received a phone call about an hour later asking when I would like delivery. I was fortunate that one of their delivery days fell on Tuesday, so I said the next day would be great.

Upon arrival they asked if I would like the product unboxed and placed into the laundry where I would then only have to connect the hoses and power cord. There was no extra fee so I said that would be great. Very efficiently done, with no hassle. Courteous and friendly guys.
