Lucky to get 1 star!
Never have I ever dealt with such an unprofessional dealership! A female staff member with name beginning with [name initial removed] is absolutely horrible. I was in discussion with her for over a week about a car that we were coming down to travel 3 and a half hours to buy and take that day. She said it would be available for us so an app was made to come and get the car. Upon arrival she had told us “the car has sold” all while she had messaged me that morning saying nothing of the sort and when confronted with this all her excuses were “ oh...Read more
we had to open the car yard, you weren’t the only one we had to reply to, blah blah blah”. She then told us she could get us the same car in the car yard but with and extra $1500 on top! We were happy with that! Then she continued to tell us they didn’t have any cars that were drive away and it would have to be processed ! She nevertheless once told us this over the phone or through any communication ! Then she said we could take the one on the floor for full price of $12000 more plus we had to pay for the extra paint (you think they would waive it for the issues caused) but no! We were beyond furious with this complete and utter unprofessional behaviour and attitude and even at the end she slumped over a showroom car and didn’t bother to say sorry! From the start her body language and attitude was absolutely disgusting! We went next door and bought a brand new car from them and it was the car they were after. Their poor attitude caused them a $32000 deal! Do not shop here !Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Do not fall for the 7 years Warranty! Kia is a dishonest and not Trustworthy company
If you buy a Kia pray you’ll never need a warranty service or you’ll need help from customer care. I booked in my car a Kia Cerato 2017 for a warranty check up as when driving it, it’s becoming noisy. Kia Rosebery lost my booking details and despite my clear call back to them advising the car was only for a warranty check up, they decided to do a full service without my authorisation and the concerns with my car were NEVER resolved. When I went to pick up my car suprise I had to pay $480 for the service otherwise I would not be able to take ...Read more
my car. After many calls to solve the issue and Kia customer care telling me that they have ‘ NO RESPONSABILiY’ over service stations from Kia. The Manager of Kia Rosebery Mr. Meake said a cheque with a refund of half of the money would be sent to my address, however it never arrived, he also said he could not confirm what he was saying as my email was bouncing back, despite my confirmation over and over of my email address. When calling back Mr Meake to advise the cheque had not arrived he would never answer, plus Kia will transfer me to a lot of different people to get tired and stop calling. Mr Meake never called back to confirm I have received the cheque despite my voicemails telling him that I never received the refund.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Disappointed in quality and service
Unfortunately the 7 year warranty is not very useful when the wait list for repairs is over one month. Response to engine light coming on is to just keep clearing it. The customer service at head office was terrible.

Essendon KIA
It's been more 2 months since car purchase but total refund worth of 3000$ are still pending from KIA finance to me towards cancellation of gap insurance, loan protection insurance and schick membership.
I contacted Bank of Melbourne, Torque finance, Allianz insurance, Schmick but they all are asking me to contact Kia dealership finance team.
Gap insurance vendor says that they never received any payment towards my gap insurance from Kia fianance but same is included in my loan amount by Kia fin for which I already paid EMI with interest.. This is a fraudulent fianancial transaction.
Even after multiple follow ups no progress though I cancelled the gap insurance, loan protection insurance and Schmick member within cooling off period.

Customer Service
DMG or Barramundi group .. Never go there,
My friend got a Volkswagen and I bought KiA optima, never buying anything ever again from them,
A terrible customer service, after sale service of Kia is really bad that i want to sell my car, none Of my friend or family will buy for sure.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my car Kia Optima,I think just because it’s darwin and they have only one car dealer here in Northern Territory. And they will make you feel so bad, I feel so terrible that I feel like selling it and buy a car from personal car seller. What a shame, never seen any car dealer so bad since I have been in Australia for last 6 years.

Kia Warranty not worth the paper it's written on!
Buyer beware!!! A large patch of paint just came off the bonnet of my 2015 Kia Carnival and there are other patches (on both sides of the bonnet) where the paint work has got blemishes on it even though I wash the car by hand at least every couple of weeks. An independent assessor says that the clear coating that is usually applied over top of the paint work during the manufacturing process is deficient. However Kia refuse to accept responsibility and have repeatedly declined my claim "due to outside influence, possibly due to animal droppings."

Junk car horrible service people
I purchased a brand new kia mentor years ago now.
But just saw this and thought I should share.
My car had fuse problems in the 1st week.
At 5 years it died.
I took it for repairs at kia springwood my car sat there for months I rang daily at first to just try and see if they could tell me anything then one day my husband rang and got a mechanic who spoke the same native language as my husband and discreetly told him that if I continue to call daily the boss would deliberately leave my car till last.
Months later I got my car back, thousands of ...Read more

Stay away, be warned!!!!!
Called for warranty repairs. Was told had to wait 2 weeks if I needed a courtesy car.
Waited 2 weeks, booked service and a courtesy/loan car. When I reached there, the reception did not have any records of either!!!!
So much for efficiency!
Reluctantly accepted my car for repairs but now the bait and switch technique really started! First there was no courtesy car available!!! On insisting that I was promised one, managed to find a car but now it was a rental car and I was asked to pay for a promised FREE loaner/ c...Read more

Very happy with our new Kia Picanto and the friendly service from Joe Crisafio Kia Osborne Park
Just bought a demo auto Picanto with very low k's. Ben took us for our test drive, and was very friendly and easy to talk to, and looked after us all the way through the negotiations and purchase. All the staff that we dealt with were friendly and professional, and the whole experience was very positive and easy.

Thomson Kia - Parramatta AWFUL EXPERIENCE
Bought a Kia Rio 2016 having saw the car online and visited the car dealership to take a look. The salesperson ask us to wait, we later realised this was to wet the car (Discovered after purchase this was to hide scratches) signed up-to Macquarie leasing they have numerous hidden charges including an Origination Fee almost 10% the value of the car its usually 1 or 2%.
Delivery date: viewing the car it was in terrible condition scratches/marks fading paintwork - I complained and was asked to wait. I waited 1h 45mins and was shown a car that ...Read more
had been buffed so aggressively it had melted the plastic on the doorframe (later replaced). DO NOT buy a car here you will regret it.. Shady tactics, dishonest and utter stupidity.. Okay the stupidity was mine I just assumed buying a new car would be safer than a dodgy dealership selling 2nd hand cars. I have pictures and paperwork to back up all the claims made in this review including emails.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Thomson Shepparton Kia dealer is the worst
First time we went there we were discouraged from test driving the car we wanted (top of line sportage) by sales man so we went else where to purchase the car (Epping which was great).
After our normal service dealer relocated we decided to go to Shepparton as it was our closest dealer. We had our service done then took the car home, my husband rang me days later to say the car had broken down on the side of the road (we have not had an ounce of trouble with our car since we brought it over a year ago) the roadside assistance team was great, t...Read more

Kia ceratos are absolute garbage and 7 year warranty is worth nothing.
I purchased a kia cerato from kia blacktown nsw, as per always when we are trying to buy a car they are full of promises but after the car is bought we know the truth. A couple of days after I purchased the car I noticed that the automatic gear box was slipping, not changing gears smoothly or not changing at all, going uphills is a disgrace, the gears do not change so the car almost comes to a stop, the sound system started to turn itself off or lose the volume and the only way it can be fixed is by turning the car off and back on. I took it to...Read more
kia blacktown and of course we have to prove it as if people will take their cars back as a game, the changed that sound system twice and still the same problem persisted, it is a common problem with the unit, the manufacturer of that unit is crap. With the gear box a guy there called [name removed] said to me it was now a well known problem for ceratos and sportages and kia was working on a fix but they were trying to fix sportages first, more than two years and still working on that fix. I went back and the service manager threatened me with calling the police if I did not leave, I considered that white clown a racist piece of crap, it is my perception of that moron. I was driving no far from kia penrith and the sound system again went mute, so I took it there a lady there came out and witnessed the problem, took photos, she asked for a new unit but the company which makes them refused to send a new one, they said it was a well knows problem and they were working on a fix, more than two years again and no fix, finally I went to kia australia in macquarie park, spoke to a [name removed], this man had called me before christmas, very sarcastic person, promised to call me back and never did reason why I went to the head office and among the many things he said was this one: kia replaces parts if a service department asks for it, I told him kia penrith asked for one. This man [name removed] flailed his arms around, snapped his fingers and said this is how quickly we fix and change faulty parts, I said well mine has not, then he tried to make a fool of me, I stopped him, he is just another liar. Refused to change the faulty sound system even though he had just flailed and snapped his fingers saying that is how quickly kia replaces faulty parts. Stay away from kias, they are crap cars and the 7 year warranty is worth nothing, just a gimmick to fool buyers.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Salesman was disinterested and outright lied about low ball offer on trade-in.
The showroom wasn't busy and neither was the yard but it took forever to be approached by a staff member. We were there to do a deal and had returned because on a previous visit we were pleased with the welcoming reception and test drive of said vehicle we wanted to purchase. However as soon as they heard trade-in the vibe went south and very quickly. As a female I knew they may try to pull a fast one and they did. The actual new car salesman yawned several times, slouched and crossed his arms and was totally not interested. Should have walked ...Read more
away then and there but wanted to hear the dollar figure for the trade-in. Well, they obviously didn't want to deal and must have sat there for 10 minutes pretending to do the math because only they can access the internet and work out the value of a car??? Will not be recommending your dealership to anyone, you wasted my valuable time and your salesman compounded it by complaining about how bad his life is financially. Well, my advice to the car salesman is to go and get another job or better himself in other ways.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

KIA Stinger brake complaint
I bought a KIA Stinger in July 2018 and took it in for the 10k service in early December 2018. When booking it in I advised the service department that the brakes were squealing and had a serious vibration when braking downhill. Over the phone and without even looking at the car the consultant assured me it wasn't serious and high performance brakes tend to do this, to which I replied my 16 year old Mitsubishi Magna doesn't even do it. When I took it in to have the work completed they kept the car for two days saying they couldn't find an issue...Read more
. When I collected the car the next day they indicated the car must have been driven hard and I was told that the brake disc's had been superheated and had turned blue which caused the brake issue and to rectify this they machined the disc's and I should see how it goes. If this was the issue not sure why they couldn't determine this on initial inspection and the car is brand new I don't race it so can't see how this can be the case. I emailed KIA customer contact the next day and after a month still have no reply. They market the Stinger as being a drivers car but after normal driving commuting to work the brakes aren't up to the task, no wonder NSW Police won't touch them.Similar opinion? Excellent experience when purchasing a new Kia Rio
I have just purchased a new Kia Rio from Kia Toowong. The salesman was Biken Chhetri .i can’t say enough about his help and effort in the sale.
I would recommend him to all people needing help in buying a car. It is a big purchase and a personal one. He went to every end to help me make that decision, and for me to feel certain I had made the right one.

Question: has this to anyone else re Werribee Kia and will you also take action over your privacy being abused and/or harrassment? Re employee of Werribee Kia - why would they harrass people and then break privacy laws by going onto CarSales and entering the enquirer's name and number (and wrong email, because they don't have it!) onto a whole lot of random car listings so that the person gets a heap of SMS messages from various Audi dealers and sellers. Luckily for the person that it has happened to they have family involved in law and criminal justice system, so the staff member - who it will be able to be proven made these enquiries, such things can be traced - and who broke privacy law can be dealt with. Please see Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic). My question is why would a car dealership employee go to these lengths, just because someone asked an SMS enquiry about the location of a car and when they found out it was too far to go to in Werribee they were constantly called, SMS, harrassed even after asking for the contact to cease, and then have their privacy broken to make malicious enquiries with their phone number? Would like to know if others have gone through this and would also make a report to first the dealership and if no action, then VicPol.

We have a Kia Sorento 2012 Model. We went over on our service by 14 months. We went and had our 60000km service and I mentioned a couple of things that weren't running too well. When I collected it from it's service the same thing was happening still. Next day the car had to be towed back to the dealership and now they are saying we need a whole new engine rebuild because we left it so long for a service the oil separated in the engine and it has clogged it up which is why it's not running right. Also not covered by warranty because we went over on our service. They may be coming to the party for the parts. But we are still looking anywhere between 3-6 grand repair. Car has been there almost a fortnight already. Anyone else ever heard of this sort of thing?
6 answers
Thankfully this hasn't happened to me first hand but I have heard the warranties are very strict. A friend told me that her oil was sludgy and that she was told that voided the warranty as if you were getting regular services that wouldn't happen. Tricky situation, I hope it all works out for you!
Thanks for the reply. I'm just so afraid of being ripped off :)
Hi Anne, Sorry to hear about your engine issue. The car warranty terms are very strict with the service history and that's the first thing they check when you have a major issue like yours. If your service history is not kept up to date they won't honor their warranty terms. You can try the wreckers to check if they have a replacement engine or you can get it rebuilt done from any other place. The dealers are lot more expensive in terms or parts and labour . You can get couple of quotes from different workshops to choose the right ones.
