Lebara only promises data but where is the speed to use that data?
These dodgy companies who have nothing but staff for billing you. They have tied up with weak service provider like vodafone whose customers are already suffering for network and internet speeds. They lure customers with cheap price plans and you realize only later that the prices are cheap because the services are cheap as well.
Do not choose lebara ever even if they say that the services are free
They told me for 6 months that there is an upgrade happening and that is why the internet is slow.

It’s a business of cheats and you lure the customers with cheaper plans. It is only after using that the customers realise how pathetic the services are. I have provided all my details to your so called customer service. But parasite providers like you who do not have own network can do nothing about the complaints. You only have marketing team to lure new customers and con them with cheap plans. Terrible signal in Brisbane
I switched to Lebara in round November 2018. I can’t send MMS since Jan 2022. It didn’t bother me as I only send MMS to fewer friends so I have been emailing them since then. By the way, i normally have 2-3 bars signal in the open city area.
My plan allows me to call overseas. Yes, I can make a call, but my family can’t hear me at all!!!. This problem started from May 2022.
My plan will be expired in about 3 months. Now I found I can’t even text message anyone!! I started not receiving text message since August 2022.

with Apple staff, tried reset. It didn’t work. I called Lebara 2 days ago. Follows instruction to restart my phone, no help at all. The call centres said they will send me an email to reset MMS. I double checked this with the call centre staff as the Lebara sim automatically lock/install the sim setting that you cannot manually put the proxy things in. Yes, I got the email just now. Don’t do it
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Trying to port out number from a different provider is impossible. The customer service assistants from Philippines are good at using English though, and they are polite. So that is something. Crap. That is all. Don’t go there. Use a more well known provider. Maybe go for amaysim. They seem to be ok.

Lebara port no service
I have Optus no, I apply to port in lebara no but does not work I wasting my time to days, customer service too bad they give you wrong information all time different way they send me port code, and sad all done ur no will start 4 hr, but don’t work, then again send me but no work, is nonsense company, I lost my work night, I recommend don’t go with lebara

Terrible experience
This company is a joke. Customer service is awful. Bought a lebara sim and tried to port my number to lebara from Vodafone. The first port failed as lebara said I need to contact Vodafone and have my billing details validated, I should not have to contact anyone..... porting should be simple and handled by the provider. So I contacted Vodafone and they told me they updated my billing details. I go back to lebara and the port fails again. copy of my bill to prove it soo they sent the matter off to tech support. The last port came back failed saying my As per the Technical Ticket that was raised (Ticket # 161265). You details are not updated on Vodafone's port out System. What a waste of time and a joke this has all been, lebara can’t even port me or follow this up and they don’t care about keeping a customer. Vodafone is as bad they have no idea what they are doing. Also Colin at lebara live chat was so rude he kept saying I was talking in riddles and saying different things, fancy saying that to a customer. He refused to believe I was on a plan with Vodafone and when I said I was on a plan he said so your on a contract I said no it’s a monthly plan with no penalty and he said if I’m postpaid I must be on a plan and said I made no sense. He didn’t understand at all. This has been an awful experience and lebara should be closed down as they won’t last this way.1 comment

Very bad indoor reception
We have been with Lebara for a while, we moved from our old house to the new house, initially we thought the bad indoor reception might be because of location, but it was not, after moving to our new house, the indoor reception is still bad. Also, we couldn't use our phone when we were in Tasmania, while everyone else who are with Telstra could. So that was another reason we switched provider...Now we are with Telstra and no problem with indoor reception

Good data bank idea but complicated recharge system PROBLEM SOLVED
The data bank idea is quite nice, it is pretty customer friendly. However with the recharge system, you can only see the plans if you have suffcient credit in your main balance. If a plan on sale, you must have its full price credit in order to purchase the on sale price. Everything needs to be solved with a customer service representative, they are kind people. Overall, good data bank idea but complicated recharge system.

Very bad reception, Slow or no mobile data
I joine Lebara in january on a one year prepaid plan. In most of the Suburbs whenever I am inside a building there is impossible to connect to the mobile data. The phone reception is also very bad.
Disgusting Network that is making fool of people and making money in the banana republic of Australia.
Keep away from them unless you are a fool!!!

Awful customer service.
Their customer service is awful. I was struggling with PIN (tried reset PIN more than 5 times, but I didn't get any emails which they sent) and called them to resolve. Waiting time was not bad, but they were very rude. "Because of high volume", they wanted to hang up the phone even I had more questions. What a bad attitude!
Also their network reception is very poor. If you go to the countryside or go into a building, you'd better give up to make use your phone.

Most Terrible Provider Ever! They Make me Feel Disgusting!!!!!
The issue with Lebara is that when people call me, the call often go to my voicemail directly, and if people do not leave a voice message, there will be no record showing that they have actually called me, and I have no ideas they have actually called. When I traced back the history, whenever I saw "call forward to voicemail", it always shows a standard number 0414122000 instead of showing me the number of the person who actually called, thus, I have no ideas how to trace the identities of the people who tried to call me!

Slow speed good service
I just purchased the medium starter pack with 36G data (including 12G bonus) and thought it would be good, however the download speed is 80k/s?!!! Are we on dial up? Upload speed on the other hand is 8M/s. I'm not sure if they put the priorities right.

They've fixed my settings and now I'm getting 6Mb/s download and 3Mb/s upload, still slow but manageable.

Extremely poor 4g speeds
Signed up for their yearly service. Very disappointed in the 4G speeds. Even a proper 3G would achieve better results. And this is not a one off case. It happens on a daily basis. You will never be able to use your data allowance no matter how small or large it is.

Poor reception and very poor voice quality
Call quality is very poor, words are muddled up, you receive every other word. I am using Google Pixel 3 phone, I was with Virgin before and didn't have any issues with the call quality in our area. Are they using a substandard Vodafone network? I am very disappointed with the call quality. I can't wait for the 6 month period to end so that I can switch back to major provider.
