Hi Greg, Sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your fan. I would suggest changing the frequency by changing the DIP switches located in the remote transmitter ( battery compartment) and the remote receiver in the ceiling canopy of the fan. The instructions for this can be found on the Installation Instruction shttps://www.beaconlightingtradeclub.com.au/media/wysiwyg/211025-028_IM_VER1_0_2015-12-9_.pdf
If this does not work I would recommend contacting our warranty department on 1800602243.

Hi We had a Luci Futra Eco Dimmable led fan installed two weeks ago. The other night it cam on by it self and also I cam home a couple of days ago to find it running also I didn't leave it on What should I do please

Hi Lauren,

From your description of your issue, it does sound like someone in close vicinity to you also has a remote control and has their remote on the same channel. This would explain the fan turning on randomly. This is easy to change. All you need to do is place your controller in your hand, flip it over and remove the batteries. You will see 4 channels or dip switches. All you need to do, is set your remote to say channel 2, then you need to pull down the canopy of your fan (the canopy is the cover that covers the wires and mounting block). From the floor you will be able to see the fan's receiver- they are normally green in colour- all you need to do is set the receiver to the same channel as you have just set your controller. This should solve your problem.

Hi, We have three Lucci Futura Eco ceiling fans, all three have stopped responding to their remotes overnight. I have been into Beacon and they have told me that the remotes need to be re-paired but could not tell me how. Could you please give me instructions on how to do this, many thanks

Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Kate,

To re-pair the fans to the remote, you will need to make sure the fan is turned off at the isolation switch (wall switch) then open the back of the remote and the canopy of the fan and check the the dip switches are all in the same positions. If they are not, reset them so they are the same, then close the canopy and back of remote, turn the fan back on at the isolation switch (wall switch) and use the remote to turn the fan on high.

Do this separately for each fan, making sure each fan/remote has a different frequency/sequence to the others.

Kind regards,
Rhiannon - Customer Service

I purchased 3 Lucci Air Fans in October 2018. The 3rd fan was only installed approx 2 months ago and has not been used as a fan. Tried in on the weekend and the remote control doesn't work. I can use the remote from the other fans but not the one supplied with the unit. Does it some how need to be reset or will the remote be replaced under warranty?

Hi Michelle, the issue could be do to do with the remote receiver, this may have failed however without getting an electrician out to look at the fan, this cannot be confirmed. This fan has a 2 year in home warranty so if you purchased your fan in this time frame, please contact our Warranty team on 1800 602 243 and they will send a service man out to have a look at it for you. Hi I have three lucca futura eco fans, two are working well but the third only works On one speed now .The remote will only switch to one speed Is it the capacitor or the remote If it’s the remote where can I buy a new one The fan is a 2015 purchase.

Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Nigella, the issue appears to be the remote receiver unit that is found in the ceiling canopy of the fan. Depending on the remote, you can buy a new one over the counter at any Beacon Lighting store, or if the remote was part of the fan, not an extra purchase to the fan, this can be sourced through your closest Beacon Lighting store. You will need to provide them with the SKU number of the fan purchased or take in your remote transmitter and they should be able to match this up to the fan for you. Lucci Futura Eco

Hello. I have Lucci futura eco series fan model ld-140129-48-30. I changed the bulbs in 3 of the fans and now 1 of them will not work. The light or the fan doesn’t work. Do you know why this might be? With the one that is not working I did screw the bottom piece that holds the lights loose but the tightened it back up. Appreciate any help. Thanks Luke

Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Luke, to be able to assist you properly, can you please verify what Futura fan you have i.e. what type of globe does it take? If your Futura fan takes 2 or 3 screw in globes (ES), then the issue could be that you have whilst taking the glass off, you have stretched the wires going to the light and this would need to be looked at by an electrician.
If your Futura takes a 22 Watt circular fluorescent, then the issue would be the Ballast needs replacing and a new one can be purchased from any Beacon lighting store. If you require any further assistance, please PM us at [email protected] with your contact details and we would be able to assist you further.
Thank you

hi Rob.. I may not be able to answer this but do have an interesting fact that we discovered in regards to the fan. We have a volkswagen car. We discovered when coming home at night that when we entered the house the fan was already on. At the time we were alarmed thinking someone had broken in. One day after this i stood in the house and pressed the car key to lock the car from inside the house and the fan went on! So we now know that holding down the volkswagen key (which locks and also makes the windows go up) also controls our fan.. I guess there is a chance that some other electronic gadget in your home is controlling your fan... just a thought from Mal

Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Rob, the issue could be to do with someone nearby your home has a remote set on the same frequency as your fans or it could be that your remote has a timer feature on it and it has been set to turn off after a certain amount of hours. Depending on the fan, there are different ways to set the frequency to another one. If you have your installation instructions, you will find the instructions there, if not please email us directly to [email protected] the SKU number /name of your fan and we can provide the correct instructions for you, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

We recently built a house and got all our ceiling fans Lucci Air and the electrician told us that one of the globe covers came broken and that I had to ask for a replacement. I tried to ask beacon lighting and they said since the electrician threw it out they can’t give me a replacement. Is this something Lucci can help me with as I feel ripped off and it’s in our main bedroom so it’s a constant reminder.

Hi there,

I purchased 4x Futura celiling fans with lights - remote operated from Beacon Lighting 6 months ago.. 1 has turned on by itself and nothing I do will switch it off. IN fact the remote for the fan in question has started operating a fan in another room.
I've even turned the house power off, then when I turned it back on the fan started again? Any ideas?

Thanks

Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Kellie, it appears that there maybe someone nearby that have fans on the same frequency as your fans remote so you will need to change the frequency on both the receiver and the transmitter of your fan. The instructions on how to do this are on the installation instructions for the fan or if the remote was an extra purchase then they would have been in the box for the remote. If you have further questions, please contact us directly at [email protected] as we can supply instructions if you do have these. Debbie - Beacon lighting Customer Service

Installed these fans and immediately above the 3 speed there is a clicking sound. What is the best way to sleeps with this and fix it? My husband thisnks it’s the plastic dome above the blades. I believe it is a balance problem?

1 answer
Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

The issue could be that the screws that are in the ceiling canopy of the fan, holding the fan to the ceiling are loose or have not be screwed into an appropriate mounting bracket in the ceiling. If this is all tightened correctly and in an appropriate mounting bracket, then it could be a balancing issue and this can be fixed by using the balancing kit supplied with the fan. if you still experience an issue, please contact Beacon lighting Warranty Department on 1800 602 243, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service
