Hi there, 2 out of the 3 ceiling/light fans are working fine, however one of them seems to be half the brightness of the other 2 lights on all three dimmer settings. I changed over the light unit from the perfect fan to the fan of issue and this did not fix the problem. It seems there must be a dimmer fault in the fan?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi we have Fanaway LED EVO1 retractable Ceiling Fan and light with a Lucci LCD SKU 210013 remote control....on a few occasions we enter the room to find the fan or light on BUT the remote shows that they are OFF, why is this?

Hi Milka, I believe that someone in the area around you has a fan with a remote that is on the same frequency as your your remote. To fix this, you will need to change the frequency on the receiver unit and the transmitter unit of the remote. This can be found on the transmitter in the area behind the batteries, you will see a window with 4 DIP switches, change these to a different setting and take note of what this is and then in the canopy of the fan, you will find the receiver and you will see the same DIP switches in a small window on this which you will change to the same frequency as the transmitter unit, Debbie - BL Customer Service

Hi,
I have a Lucci Futura Dimmable LED Ceiling fan. I bought from Beacon Lighting. The light or fan won’t work. I changed the batteries in the remote. It has an isolating switch. Please advise? We purchased the fan under 2 years ago.

Hi Wayneo,
Thank you for your question, my recommendation would be to contact our warranty department on 1800 602 243 and make a warranty claim for this fan as it would still be under warranty and the department would then arrange for a technician to come out and have a look and they will repair/replace.

Hi Ahmed,
Thank you for your question, if the fans have just been installed, the would still be under warranty, therefore my recommendation would be to place a warranty claim in for the fan that is not working, you can find a warranty request form on the Beacon Lighting website or alternatively the warranty department is available on the following number 1800 602 243. My Mum has two of the Lucci Air retractable blade fan lights.
She is having issues with the remotes. Sometimes one remote does not work in one room but switches the other fan on in another room.
I have changed the pole codes and managed to make each unit work only to have similar problems a week later. Any hints.

Hi Mitchelldac,

Thank you for your question, from what you have described it sounds like someone in your area may have their fans on the same frequency as what your mum has hers. The only solution would be to have these operational via a wall switch or finding out if someone in the area is using the same frequency as you have on these fans and changing them. We have two of the Lucci remote operated fans in a unit. They are both on the same frequency. How can I change one of these?

1 answer

Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi James, thanks for your post. Depending on your fans that you have, you may need to either change the DIP switch settings on one of the remotes or perform a re-synchronization of it. If you purchased your remote separately to your fan, instructions to change the DIP switch settings can be found here: https://www.beaconlightingtradeclub.com.au/media/wysiwyg/210012_IM_2014-02-05__1.pdf. Otherwise, you will have a DC fan which comes with a remote and this will need to be repaired by following the troubleshooting section in this document: https://www.beaconlightingtradeclub.com.au/media/wysiwyg/212910-914_IM_V1.0_2016-8-4_-_Nordic_-EN_1.pdf, (these instructions may not be for your fan but should have a similar troubleshooting process). Hi Jackie, for me to answer your question, I would need to know the exact model of fan and, if the remote was purchased (not included with the fan). If you have an invoice, this will come up as a 6 digit code next to each purchase. if you could get back with these details, I will be able to assist you, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

Hi, I have just bought the Futura ECO Dimmable LED Ceiling Fan and the lights are very slow to turn on when turning on at the switch. When I flick the switch, after 0.5 seconds, I can hear a click at the fan, and then 0.5 seconds later the light turns on. Is this expected behaviour?

1 answer
Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Michael, to clarify, when you press the switch on the remote for the light on this fan, it takes 0.5 second for the light to come on? If this is the case, then yes, this is normal behaviour due to the low voltage required by LEDs, some have a very small delay before they "turn" on. If the delay is longer than this, then I would suggest contacting our Warranty team on 1800 602 243 about getting a service person out to have a look t it for you, Debbie - Beacon

Hi Matt, if you have a Futura fan, you cannot reverse the direction of the blades via a remote, this can only be done by switching over the Summer/Winter switch located on the top of the motor of the fan, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

Hi Susan, we do not go by a part number for these parts, if you go to any Beacon Lighting store with the SKU no. (on your receipt) of your exact fan, they will ask our Spare Parts Division for these capacitors for you, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

My Lucci Futura Eco Dimmable LED ceiling fan remote stopped working so I replaced the batteries but it still didn't work. Stupidly I didn't have my glasses on and saw the little dip switches and flicked a few of them and then realised after reading the instructions that I shouldn't have done that. I'm guessing the remote control is broken and need to get another one but how will I know what sequence to set the new remote's dip switches onto as they will need to match the receiver's dip switch's sequence in the fan. How to find them?

1 answer
Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Kylie,

Thanks for your message and I'm sorry to hear about your fan remote not working. The DIP switch sequence for the receiver unit in the fan can only be found by physically looking at the DIP switch settings on it. To reveal the receiver unit, the canopy of the fan needs to be twisted off the ceiling bracket. Please call us on 03 8561 1599 or email [email protected] if you have any additional questions.

In regards to your fan remote, your issue may be either the remote or the receiver unit itself. I would recommend contacting our warranties department on 1800 602 243 if your fan is still covered under warranty.

My fan will not turn on with remote, I have changed battery and the red light comes on, also I have no isolating switch. Any help?

1 answer
Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Terry, firstly, I would suggest you speak with your installing electrician about getting an isolation switch installed as this is a legal requirement, also it voids your warranty if this is not installed. Without knowing the exact fan you have, I believe the problem may be to do with the a problem with the receiver unit of the fan which may need replacing or it may be an issue where the fan needs to be paired with the remote again, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

I'm thinking of buying 2 of the Futura Eco 122cm Fans with LED Light with Remote, for my granddaughters rooms; but having read so many bad reviews I'm now concerned at spending $359 each, especially after the reviews on changing globes, poor air flow and remotes braking down. Any advice would be appreciated. Any suggestions?
I'm worried Beacon will just tell me what they know I want to hear.

Hi Kaz, thanks for your post. I understand your consideration when it comes to purchasing ceiling fans as they are a fixture that customers typically have for a long duration. We do stand by the quality of our products and offer a minimum 2 year in-home warranty on our fans. This involves one of our electricians coming out to your property and either repairing or replacing a potentially faulty fitting. If you have any additional questions please call 03 8561 1599 or email us at [email protected]. David - BL Customer Service

Hi Joey, thanks for your question and I'm sorry to hear about your Moonah fan. If you are still experiencing issues with the unit I would recommend contacting our Warranties department on 1800 602 243 or filling out a warranty form online which can be found here: https://www.beaconlighting.com.au/warranty-claims. This is possible due to there being a 2 year in-home warranty on that fan and will involve one of our electricians coming to inspect the fan and either fixing or replacing it. If you have any other queries, don't hesitate to call us on (03) 8561 1599 or email us at [email protected]. David - BL Customer Service
