Hi Dee, thanks for your message and I'm sorry to hear about your Futura fan. We do supply a minimum 2 year warranty with that specific fan and if your fan is still covered under the warranty you could put through a claim. This can be done by calling our Warranties department on 1800 602 243 or by filling out a form online which can be found here: https://www.beaconlighting.com.au/warranty-claims. If your fan is not covered under warranty, I would recommend getting a qualified electrician to diagnose the problem for you. David - BL Customer Service

I have just had a lucci futura eco dimmable led ceiling 48 inch fan light sku:210950 installed only to find it is not an infrared remote control unit.
The purpose of the remote ceiling fan light was to be able to sync it to my computer tablet and operate and control my own environment,
I have enquired at the local beacon store only to be told they didn't know what operating system it uses to relay signals.
They said they would email head office and enquire and get back to me by email.
Could you please tell me the operating system for this remote with as m7ch detail as possible.

Hi DanM, Can you tell me the exact fan you have, ie. SKU number and if the the remote was purchased separately, the SKU no. of the remote so I can advise correctly as we do not go by the factory model number. We have a Lucci Futura ceiling fan bought three and my son turned his light on and now will not turn off HELP model number UC7216T bought all brand new Joondalup store Beacon Lighting. Any ideas?

Customer S.Lucci Air
Hi Lisa, thanks for your message and I'm sorry to hear about the Futura fan light not turning off. With all our products, you receive a minimum of 12 months warranty. Due to the remote control not working as intended, I would recommend either calling our Warranties department on 1800 602 243 or filling out a warranty claim form which can be found here: https://www.beaconlighting.com.au/warranty-claims.html. In the meantime, to turn off the light there should be a switch that your electrician installed for the fan that looks like a light switch. This is an isolation switch and if turned off, cuts the power to the fan and would therefore turn that light off. David - BL Customer Service

Hi. I have a Futura Eco 52" fan/light t5 22w I bought from Beacon Lighting sku code 210873. The issue I have, is that the globe failed after 5 years. I bought replacement globe. Only to find out didn't work when fitted. Checked to make sure it was ok, by fitting it into another working fan in another room. Whilst the light doesn't work the fan still does. Didn't make sense. So I checked to see if there was a fuse in the housing. Couldn't see one. Is there a fuse somewhere in the unit that may have gone? I'm trying to figure out whether I need to replace entire fan /light at great expense or could it be something quite simple that can be fixed on the spot, like a fuse or whatever. Hi, the issue with your fan could be that the ballast has failed and needs replacing. This is the square or round "box" in the centre of the globe. This can be purchased from any Beacon Lighting store and the SKU number is 210006, Debbie - BL Customer Service
Purchased the ballast from Beacon Lighting as suggested. The store didn't have in stock when I went in but had it ordered for me. Had it within a week, so all good. It proved quite simple to replace. Didn't require an electrician. The light works fine now. Thankyou Debbie for your prompt reply. Steve J

I have a hunter pacific Aurora 2 fan with a Lucci remote control. Recently the light has been flickering and will not stay on when the fan is started. There is also a humming noise from the fan. The remote is functioning OK but it appears that the power to the fan unit is limited as although the fan starts it doesn't run up to the speed it achieved previously and the light goes off. Is this symptomatic of a receiver/controller fault? (Unit UC7076R)
1 answer
Customer S.Lucci Air
Hi Ernest, Hunter Pacific recommend that their fans only be controlled by a Hunter Pacific remotes. The lights kits from Hunter Pacific vary so I am unsure of which fan light kit you have so I am unable to advise on why the light is flickering. The humming from the fan could be from a signal that is sent by your power company to your house, this noise generally only happens in the afternoon/evening during off peak times and if you live in either NSW, QLD or SA. If this is the case, this can be fixed by putting a frequency ripple filter at the metre box. If you have any further questions, please PM us at [email protected] directly, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

Hi, I have a Lucci Futura Fan, SKU 210866, can you advise how to change the light? Thanks Peter

Peter
Sorry our fans don't have lights. Further to my post, the failure was not with Lucci gear but the Clipsal switches used during the installation of our Metricon home. Apologise to Lucci and Beacon Lighting who promptly responded to my complaint.
Customer S.Lucci Air
Hi Peter, what you need to do is with one hand, hold the metal part above the light and with the other hand, turn the glass only in an anticlockwise direction, about a 1/4 of a turn. Sometimes due to the glass expansion (due to the heat from the globe or if the glass has been put on slightly askew or too tight), the glass can stick, so you just need to give the glass a tap in the anti clockwise direction and it should turn, Debbie- Beacon Lighting Customer Service

I have your fan model and my remote can turn on and off the light but the fan setting can not be turned off and is stuck on the high setting fan which cannot be changed. Can this be fixed or do I need a new remote?
1 answer
Customer S.Lucci Air
Hi Glenn, from what you have said, it appears that the receiver of the remote has failed and you will need a new remote, or depending on the fan, a new receiver, Debbie - Beacon Lighting

Simple question. Have two of your Lucci aero fans with LED lighting. 52 inch. How do you replace the light globe. Nothing about it in the book.
2 answers
All you need is just pull down the light cover/shade from the light base, there are 3 internal spring like clip inside holding the cover. it is best to slowly jiggle the cover when you pull it down.
Customer S.Lucci Air
Hi Ian, thank you for your question. As these fans have an integrated LED they do not require a change of globe as the integrated LED is part of the fan/light combination, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

I have three of the Lucci Futura Eco Dimmable LED Ceiling fans, purchased 3.5yrs ago. This morning the remotes were working and as the day went on, all three remotes have now stopped working. I've been home all day and we haven't had any power outages and only one remote has the red light permanently on. It's very strange that all of the remotes would stop working on the same day??

Hi Erin,
My fan was only 3 months old and suddenly stopped working. There is no power surge. I am still waiting for them to rectify the problem.
Customer S.Lucci Air
Hi Erin, it does not take a power outage to affect the remote receiver in fans, it can be a very small power surge. If you could contact us at [email protected] the SKU no of the fans you have as well as your contact details, we can look further into this for you, Debbie - BL Customer Service
