HI Doc, the sound could be that the screws holding the fan to the ceiling have become loose and need tightening. If this is not the case and the fan is still under warranty, I would suggest you complete the form on this link https://www.beaconlighting.com.au/warranty-claims.html and our warranty team will send out a serviceman to have a look at it for you, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

Thank you for your message, seeing the power went off the fan may no longer be paired with the remote, you may need to have this paired again. You may need to look at the installation instructions that came with your fan as this will assist. If you do not have the Installation Manual you can contact us at [email protected]

Hi, we bought our house recently and the fan in our bedroom came with a luccci remote (sku # 210012) that worked for the first 6 months we lived here. Now it only has one speed and we can only turn it on by the switch on our wall. Any suggestions?

I have just moved into a house with 5 x Lucci Model LD-140129L-T5 Ceiling Fans with Lights.
one of the fans no longer responds to the remote even though i changed the battery and i can use that remot with other fans in the house when i change to their frequency.
I have to either turn the fuse off or pull apart the connector in the top of the fan to stop it.
The room light switch which should act as an isolation switch doesn't :-( Any ideas?

Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Steve, It sounds like your receiver unit of the remote has failed and will need replacing. It also sounds like the wall switch has not been connected to he fan as an isolation switch so the only way to turn the fan off would be to turn the fan of at the mains. The remote for this fan is a separate remote (ie. it would have been purchased separately to the fan) and replacements can be purchased through any Beacon Lighting store

It will depend on the fan you have however the issue could be to do with the capacitor, either in the wall controller or in the motor of the fan. if the fan is less than 2 years old, this will be covered under warranty, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

All fans are required, by law, to have an isolation switch on the wall for cases like this. The only way to turn this off now would be by the mains power. It sounds like the the receiver unit has failed and this will need replacing, Debbie Beacon Lighting Customer Service

Hi Debbie,
Thank you for your comments.
Which law are you referring to?
Do you have any contracted electrician and how much does it costs for replacing the receiver?

Hi, I purchased two Lucci Futura ECO 52 and three Lucci Futura ECO 48 fans about a year ago, and now one of each of the different size fans won't go to the high speed. The remote units from the two that didn't go to high were exchanged with the remote units from the one's that did go to high but this did not fix the problem. Can you please advise me of what I need to do to fix the problem, Regards Darren

I have the L D - 140129 L - T5-WH ceiling fan, how can I remove the lamp shade to replace the light globe ?

1 answer
Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Thank you for your question, to remove your glass, A- What you need to do is with one hand, hold the metal part above the light and with the other hand, turn the glass only in an anticlockwise direction, about a 1/4 of a turn. Sometimes due to the glass expansion (due to the heat from the globe), the glass can stick, so you just need to give the glass a tap in the anti-clockwise direction and it should turn. Regards- BL Customer Service.

Hi, the light and fan will not turn on, the light on the remote flashes when I press the buttons, I have changed the batteries, any suggestions thank you.

1 answer
Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Lee, the issue could be to do with the receiver unit of the remote which is located in the canopy of the the fan. The only way to verify this is to get an electrician in to look at this. Depending on the fan and remote you have, it will have at least a 12 month warranty on it so if you contact our warranty department on 1800 602 243, they can come and have a look for you, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

I have a Lucci fan. Mopdel no.UC7087T. Had it about 3 years. After about 18months the light stopped working. Then after another 12 monthe the fan won't work at all. I've checked the globe and batteries. These aren't the problem. The remote works but doesn't turn on the light or fan. Any ideas?

Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

Hi Rae, the model number is not one we go by, it maybe a model no. from the factory where your remote was made. The issue maybe to do with the receiver of the remote which may need to be replaced. If you would like to send an image of the fan and remote to webmaster@beaconlighting with the issues you have experienced, we can then identify the fan and advise/look into this further, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

We can't turn our fan off with the remote. If we turn all the household power off it stops but starts up again once we turn the power back on. What can we do? Please help.

1 answer
Lucci Air
Customer S.Lucci Air

The issue you maybe experiencing is a failure of the receiver unit of the remote control. When the fan was installed, it should have been installed with an isolating switch (like a light switch) close to the fan (in the same room) as mentioned in the installation instructions and Australian/NZ wiring regulations so the power can be turned off to the fan without having to turn the entire house power off. I would suggest you contact your electrician who installed your fan to look into this issue. In relation to the remote, you will need to purchase a new remote to fix this issue, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service

Hi we have several Lucci Futura ceiling fans with lights, we live in 2 storey home and if someone turns light & fan on downstairs using remote it also turns the one on upstairs. How can we stop this happening? They were all installed by qualified electrician. Thanks

From what you are saying, it sounds like the remotes on the fans were set on the same frequency. You will need to change one of these fans to a different frequency. If you could email us [email protected] the SKU no. of the remote you have, if you do not have them, we can send you a copy of the operating instructions and directions on how to do this, Debbie - Beacon Lighting Customer Service
